This continues to be a family staple for us. Fresh food and friendly service, though the drive through can sometimes be overwhelmed out to the street. We typical go in to order to go if we are not staying; however, I recently discovered the NEW(er?) Culver's app. Ordered online, drove there, walked in and walked out with food. Game changer compared to a typical carry out wait (standing in store) of up to 10 minutes. Let's face it - they wouldn't be busy if they weren't good - so even absent to app we don't mind waiting for fresh fast family friendly food! Favorites are the buffalo tender basket - enjoy great sauce choices and generous from the counter as well. Butter burger with cheese is my other family favorite! They're delicious. Go get that app. You won't be sorry. read more

Everything was amazing! Great family atmosphere. The cashier was great and explained everything well to me and my family as we struggled with what to order. But the burgers were killer smash burgers and the kids loved the kids meals which they come with custard at the end of their meals. I'm sad because I'm just visiting troy for work and this place is 2 hours from where I live I definitely will be coming back whenever I visit troy again!!! read more

Food is pretty food, yummy butter burgers. They're better than "regular" fast food with the prices to go with it. A meal is typically about $7. The style is more cafeteria than fast food too. You order, get a number and they bring it to you when it's ready. Make sure you get some frozen custard after your dinner/lunch!! read more

The food is always good. They are great about bringing food to you and keeping tables clean. The line moves fast no matter how busy they are. Custard is good a little pricey but good. Always had a good experience when I have eaten there. I would recommend this place to have lunch. read more

I visited a number of times when in the area. Very nice employees and up to Culvers typical standards. Regarding the $15 hamburger comment, I have no idea how you would spend $15 on one meal. Their value meals start at $4 for a hamburger, fries and drink. Culvers are sooo much better than the typical fast food restaurant. read more

The food here is always good. I haven't been there once where it wasn't delicious. The fries are always crunchy yet soft in the middle and I love crinkle fries, so even better. The burgers are good and I like how they have mayonnaise and mustard packs on the side so I can put how much I want on my hamburger. The employees are all polite, but Tiffany goes above and beyond. She made sure we had everything we needed and more. read more

I am a fan of Culver's; first started going there in Wisconsin and was happy to see one open in Troy. I stopped in today for a quick lunch and although I am a Butterburger lover, today I opted for the grilled chicken sandwich and iced tea. The sandwich comes on a nice roll; wish there was a wheat/whole grain option, lettuce, tomato and dill pickle slices finish it off. It was a tasty sandwich. I behaved; no shake today. Those are delish as well! read more

Restaurant always clean,always busy,I've eaten here several times I usually get the hamburger and onion rings, both are good especially the onion rings those are great for a fast food joint. The last time I ate there tried the fish sandwich it was just ok really greasy! They have the best custard in town and their milk shakes are yummy! Im from the south and in the south, we dont eat 15 dollar greasy butter burgers or tons of cold mayo on a hot grill cheese. nasty, the menu didnt show this nor did they even offer me the option of having it my way. i may has well just thrown 15 dollars out the front door. thanks alo. i will NEVER go back! read more

Really awesome burgers, and even better fries and custard!!!! We have eaten here 3 times since moving a few weeks ago. So far, very consistent and over all, friendly service. Ordered a butter burger cheese and it was very over done and charred but they fixed me a new one no problem! We've found a new "place." read more

over priced, went through the drive thru and got 2 things of chicken tenders (which were cold) and a burger, the burger had a dent in it and just didn't taste good, then we all got a 1 scoop of ice cream. in total it was $37. read more

Established in 1984.

In 1984, Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig's parents George and Ruth, opened the very first Culver's in the family's beloved hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin, and began serving ButterBurgers¬¨Ü and Frozen Custard. They do have about ten tables if you want to dine inside. The burger comes wrapped in foil and stayed pretty warm by the time I got home. The flavor was excellent but after a few bites it almost seemed too decadent for a burger. I'm not sure how else to explain it other than it was so rich and dense that I think my taste buds were confused. I couldn't really taste the signature sauce, so I think next time I would ask for extra signature sauce and get it without mayonnaise. The fries were crispy and all in all it ended up being the perfect amount of food. I'd be interested to try one of the chicken sandwiches next time.
