Definitely one of the best additions to ATL! It's not just great for tourists, but for locals as well. A lot of people can't get on board with paying $10 a head to go to the roof, but the roof would be bursting with people if they didn't have a charge! It's worth the view and overall experience when you arrive. Beautiful skyline views, amusement park feel with games like skee-ball, horse racing, basketball free throws, etc. the main attractions are the slide and mini golf! Super fun place for a date night! (We went on a 21+ night.) The putt putt course was pretty simple and takes a long time if there are a lot of people playing ahead of you, so it wasn't my favorite. The fair games were great with cute prizes which were not too hard to win. The slide was fun to do once! The view was awesome, and there was pretty good music all night. We had some popcorn and a walking taco from the concession stand-- decent quality and tasty. Pretty good beer selection, but y'all have to get the bearded lady frozen drink!! read more

We did it for Fred! Who's Fred, you may ask? On the Friday night we stopped by, he was the charismatic elevator attendant that got us pumped to experience whatever awaited us at Skyline Park. Some people talk about the PCM history they heard during their ride up, but we got riled up for the tasty drinks and fun that awaited us at the top! We paid $10 for rooftop hangs but it was well worth it! After 5:00 pm, kiddos are sent home and it makes for a super fun and less chaotic atmosphere up there. I don't know what it is about Atlanta and their frozen cocktails, but I'm ALL for it. I had a nice glass of frosé (with a kick!) and took in the sunset on the rooftop with my friends. It wasn't crowded, so easy to get a drink, play any game we wanted, and just chill. On the way out, I couldn't help but show off my skeeball prowess and paid $2 to play a game. Just like any theme park, you can acquire tickets and get some stuffed animal prizes along the way. The view from up top is amazing and even better at sunset. Definitely worth the journey up! Find a spot in the neighborhood off of Ponce de Leon Place NE across the street. You're welcome. Step 2: Go outside to the back of PCM's food hall, pay $10, and ride the elevator to the rooftop. Step 3: Forget mini-golf, and all the other carnival games, and walk straight to their beer garden. Grab a drink at the bar and find a spot in the corner. (No reservations needed.) Step 4: Watch the sunset descend into the horizon while the blood-orange sun illuminates the Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead skylines while sippin' on a cold Chardonnay and conversing with friends. If you visit Ponce City Market, you may never know that it is here, but this is one of my favorite spots in all of Atlanta. Unfortunately, the parking lot is a nightmare, and you will wait in a line and pay to get up there, and the the minute and a half ride on a freight elevator in an old Sears building carries the distinct scent of 80 year old axle grease, but trust me, it's worth it. It's located in that former Sears warehouse that is on the National Historic register, so there's a little bit of History everywhere you look in this place. It's located in the old Fourth Ward neighborhood where it connects with the Virginia Highland, Poncey Highland, and Midtown. That means that you have great views of downtown Atlanta and you are close to other places to go after. While you were there, you can take part in the carnival games, visit the Beer Garden, or as long as it's winter, check out the ice skating rink. It's good clean fun for the whole family. You can come for the entertainment value, But be sure not to miss those views. It's the best part of being up there, and makes the whole thing a special experience. read more

I took my wife and three small children to Skyline Park at Ponca City Market today. It was a beautiful day for it. Sunny and maybe 80 degrees with a nice breeze. Like anything at PCM, you need to pay to park, but it is not expensive. $4.30 for two hours so no biggie. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Seemingly not bad, but what you get for that is an elevator ride that gives you access to the area. Once in the area, you get zero for free other than the view. Granted, it is a nice view, but spending $41 to get access to a place to spend money is why the 2 star rating. They have mini golf which was fun. $8 for adults and $5 for kids. That price would be fine if we had not already had to pay for admission. Different carnival type rides and games are $1 - $3. It is a pretty small little carnival type area, but still fun for an afternoon hour or two. My kids really liked the slide which was only $1 a ride. Concessions are available with standard high carnival type pricing. $3 for a bottle of soda. Again, a fun little outing and I would recommend it if you didn't have to pay admission to spend money. read more

And you may have to wait in line first since the elevator only holds so many people. But a friendly doorman will open the door to the observation deck for you when you get to the top. Because it's a mini amusement park on a freaking roof top. --- --- --- Putt-putt golf, rides, beer, frozen drinks and carnival games... and oh yeah, it's on a roof top over looking the city. Below you, you'll find dozens of other food and drink options at the Ponce City Market. This is my third and final review for this facility - one for the market itself, one for H&F Burger and one for Skyline Park. At the time of my writing, these places had a collective 3-3.5 star rating on Yelp. When I visited, I couldn't believe how unbelievably cool all of this stuff was. Prices? Parking? Crowds? This was number 1 on my list of places to go on my next trip to Atlanta. So glad I made it! The gods were playing with me with some rain issues and then the computer system failing causing a delay in opening the facility i.e. could not take payment for entry. I felt bad for the staff, but they handled it so well as a line began forming. They figured it out and we were able to go up. First the view was so amazing and worth the $10 entrance fee which is really what you are paying for when heading up. We headed first to a Froze which was totally worth it and hit the spot. I was immediately in my happy place hanging out and checking out the cool view. We then went to play games. We weren't able to get a card because the systems were still down so we were allowed to have free games UNTIL they came back up. We took them up on this and had an absolute blast!!! They have the best carnival games and I had a blast playing them in all my froze impaired glory. I highly recommend!!! Yes it is a bit pricey, but the view and atmosphere is totally worth it. Staff, from the carnival game workers to bartenders, were all very professional and nice. Must do when in the area! read more

Well let's say the view on a clear day is worth the price of admission and the day we came was perfect! Upon coming up on the freight elevator where we had a brief history lesson of the building we were greeted at the top and you feel like you at the carnival somewhere with the games and the rides and food. I saw a beer garden sitting in the rear of the roof by the food stand which I truly enjoyed the hot dogs here. The very talkative person who I enjoyed my conversation with informed me of so many things about the menu and the park, A slide with a potatoes sack and a sky drop ride with classic games make this a great place and please bring the kids. read more

A month ago we went to the Skyline Park. This is one of those places to go with foreign friends when they come to ATL for a visit. It's usually full during weekends which makes almost impossible to buy a drink from the bar. Drinks at the bar are very basic and limited - you don't have many options. It's great to listen to the story of the building when you are in your way up to the roof. The story of this iconic structure is narrated by the operator of the elevator in a very funny way. While the elevator ascends you will feel like you are in Disney's Hollywood Studios twilight zone tower of terror, but don't worry this elevator won't suddenly hurl you down the shaft, it's just a simple ride to the top. Had the most amazing time here!!!!! A variety of food, alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks in addition to games, prizes, rides; it was a fantastic experience. Children are able to indulge in the festivities before 5:00 pm. It is 21 and over afterwards. I had no clue of the intense amount of awesomeness inside the Ponce City Market; I was taken aback by the wealth of dining experiences inside as we made our way to the rooftop elevator for skyline. The elevator attendant mentioned that Ponce City Market had the same developers as Chelsea piers in NYC...I didn't believe it until the elevator opened . Jaw dropping! Restaurants, bars, games, mini golf etc. I didn't know where to start first....so naturally I grabbed a froze drink. This is an awesome escape for date night, girls night, I met him on Tinder and want to confirm he's not crazy night. It was an amazing time and the rooftop allowed for views of the city in addition to all of the above. When in Atlanta, this is a must!!! Taking advantage of an unusually warm January day, we decided to visit the skyline park with some friends. Unlimited rides to Skyline Park & back down were $5. On the elevator ride we got a history lesson about the building. Most of the stuff I already knew thanks to my grandma, but I liked that they would do that. I learned that the tower at the top of the building used to hold water so incase of a fire, the water could be released and the fire would be extinguished. That was really interesting because when I originally looked into the tower, it looked like the large vats used for brewing beer & we had been discussing it before hearing this fact. At Skyline Park, a plastic card must be purchased to play all of the midway games you'd find at a carnival (without all the creepy carnies). Lucky me found a $30 card so our group was able to enjoy most of the games offered. The slide and the ride that can drop you were my favorite parts. Mini golf is also offered for an additional fee. Mini golf is situated in the middle of the park, it's decorated in the same way as everything else, a vintage carnival. (Is the minigolf difficult? Yes, for me it was, but I'm terrible at mini golf.) The side of the bar has a vintage themed bearded lady painted on the side. I love that. I think i've seen some of the decorations in my grandma's basement... There's also a concession stand, but we just went to the main dining area inside the building to eat. The views off the roof top were really nice because you can see in every direction. The beltline is visible from the roof top as well. The best days to come would be warm days without lots of wind. We got really lucky on the day we went. I'd definitely return, but I'd only play the games again if I found another loaded card! There were lots of children there, so for me that was a negative, but the bar helped to minimize the tiny monsters from my memory. Anyway, it'd be cool to go just to look at the bearded lady, the skyline & drink alcoholic slushies. read more

I was worried that this wouldn't be worth the cover to get up but the views are amazing!! There was a super cool thunderstorm passing to the north at sunset and the sky was gorgeous. It was amazing and totally a great spot to hit for a sunset on a Friday night! We hung out for a while and had a few drinks and played some games... skeet ball, horse racing, basketball, and the slide. Everything was fun and we only spent $20 for 3 of us to play a mix of those games. Sure it isn't cheap but is perfect for throwing in a little entertainment while enjoying the view. I had been interested in seeing this since it opened ~ a year or so ago. However, it was never convenient when we were nearby until one recent Sunday. First, a note about parking. When we went the main underground garage just in back of PCM itself) was a complete zoo and was full. We almost gave up. There is a sign directing you off to the right (facing the back of PCM) but one sign implies that this other garage is monthly parking. Maybe part of it is (?), but most of it is just standard public parking. Better signs would be a huge help here. We finally parked, and paid via the Parkmobile app (much easier than the machine). We then had a fair hike to get into PCM itself (through one inexplicably empty parking garage). Our next challenge was finding the access point to the rooftop park. We eventually asked, and were directed out to the rear courtyard area. There was a roped off area with a cashiers stand. This is where you pay the $10 per head to go up. While that is a steep cover charge, I understand why they impose this (other than just the profit motive). If this was free, everyone would go up and it would be impossible to manage. So we waited for the freight elevator to descend, and then climbed in for our 2-minute ride to the top. They have someone on board to give you a short talk about the history of PCM, etc. during the ride. You get off in a sort of lobby. The park is just outside the doors. There are several attractions here - a midway sort of gaming area, mini golf, and a large slide. This seems like it was geared to families with kids or people looking for a date activity. Aside from the restaurant, there is a sort of snack bar and regular bar available; we opted for a gelato and a glass of wine. The views of midtown/downtown skylines are nice. You may want to check out whether, if you dine at 9 Mile Station, the entry fee is waived or reduced. They had a separate cashier/host stand at the base, and there was also a line to get in once you arrived up here. We looked around at all the options before heading back down. In all, this wasn't bad depending on what you are looking for. I personally doubt that I'll be back soon. read more

#1. The location: There are NO signs for this AT ALL upstairs or downstairs. Coming off the Beltline, we had to ask our way around to make it to the entrance!! The marketing person needs to be fired. #2 The pricing model: $10 per person just to ride the elevator up to the roof. And spend MORE money to enjoy the experience once you're up there. You have to purchase a preloaded card to play games, oh and it doesnt get you very far here. One 60 second game will cost you 3-5 dollars. The basketball hoop games was $1 per ball and we were given 3 balls to shoot. How long does it talk to take 3 basketball shots? 15 seconds? We were appauled. #3 The games: There are about 5 midway games, tiny miniture golf, and a big slide. Not much at all. And as mentioned, a round for each game lasts about 60 seconds, so you can get there play all the games with in 10 minutes and be out of money and things to do.. #4 the food and drink: The libations are $10- $12 for premixed b.s. and i had an over priced frankfurter for $6. #5 the View: Absolutely gorgeous if you get there before sunset and watch the sun go down. Stunning! Overall, this place is a great concept, but the poor pricing model is a buzz kill. Wish we could play more of the games for what we paid to play them. $1 per basketball??? Wow. $1 for 3 balls is more like it and we're more likely to spend more to get more balls!! This goes with all the other games, especially when it is slow, like when we went!! read more

This place has one of the best views of Atlanta from every corner of the place! It can be a little hard to find but they explained that's part of the mystery of it. They want you to kind of find it on your own. The night I went it was really cold and they have complimentary blankets around the whole place to bundle up with! So cute. The restaurant also has fire pits with comfortable seating and one of the most beautiful views. All the staff is helpful and friendly. I had the privilege to attend the yelp elite event today at Skyline Park! It was an incredible experience as we were treated to Nine Mile Station completed with brunch and a mimosa bar. Unfortunately there wasn't vegan options at the brunch but thank goodness I ate beforehand like any well prepared vegans would. I'd visited the skyline park before but it was my first time at 9 mile station. The outdoor space has incredible views of the city but wish there was some shade. It was about 85 degrees in May and I was melting. We had unlimited games but the guy who manned the break the plates was friendly, funny, and energetic. We would've played more games but again, so hot! The indoor space by the elevator is cozy and we had frose which was nice. All the staff at skyline park are professional, so I can see it as a worthy place to visit for a special occasion. read more

Skyline Park is a very cool concept on top of the Ponce City Market. It's $10 to enter then you take a super vintage elevator ride up to the very top. During the ride they give you a brief timeline of the history of the building and it's pretty cool! Once you get to the top there are carnival games, plenty of beer, mini golf and more to explore. The rooftop view of the city is spectacular and there's plenty of seating to relax with friends. The rides and games are pretty cheap at around $2-$10 dollars depending on what you do. there is also a beer garden hidden in the back where you can hang out on a patio and sip some of Georgia's best brews. Definitely a nice place to come and chill. We went on a Saturday night and they have a DJ playing all the hits and throwbacks. A good mix for everybody. read more

I wanted to experience Skyline park with dinner last Sunday as the weather was perfect. We learned that we could make dinner reservations at the restaurant pay $20 for the booking fee and get to peruse and Skyline Park and have dinner. The $20 booking fee will go towards the dinner, I thought this was great as most dinners cost well above that amount anyway. I was super excited and super hyped. It's a car elevator ride up with other excited passengers and when we disembarked it was very reminiscent of an old school carnival fairway it was pretty chill. There was miniature golf and skeetball. There was this ride that I thought was like free-fall from Six Flags and I was excited and wanted to get her on until I realize it was nothing of the sort. You have to use a system of ropes and pulleys to pull yourself up to get a view of this city and then let yourself down. Boring. I took lots of pictures on my way to the restaurant because the view is spectacular. You get to see Atlanta you get to see Buckhead you can even see Marietta and a distance. We made our way to the restaurant and I'll tell you the views were again were amazing but the menu was a big dud not at all what I expected in this environment there wasn't a huge selection and nothing appealed to me on the menu. I requested a menu cancellation and went back downstairs to a restaurant in the market. It's a novel idea. Needs more for the money. read more

Our conference group took us here and we had the whole place to ourselves. It's located right above the Ponce City Market. You'll need to line up and take the freight elevator up to the Skyline park. The staff that takes you up in the elevator was the most enthusiastic employee I've ever seen. When you get to the top, it was like a mini amusement park. There are slides, and carnival games and mini golf (when i mean mini, i mean mini) . If you win at the carnival games you'll get a prize, however, the prizes are just stuff animals, in which the quality isn't so great because my lobster had a tear in it . They were nice enough to give me another lobster. The city view from this rooftop is amazing. You see of all of downtown Atlanta. It's a nice place to have a drink and mingle with friends and the summer heat wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be for a July evening around 6 to 10 pm. read more

Skyline Park is located on the roof of PCM and right next to the Nine Mile Station restaurant. All you have to do is ride the elevator to the top and you are there! I visited here over the summer and it was a great place to meet up with friends, play some games, and enjoy the ATL skyline. They have carnival games that you can play and earn prizes. They also have games like cornhole and Jenga. My favorite part was the big slide! It brought back memories of my childhood and was so fun. One of the only negatives is that everything is a separate cost, so if you do everything the price can really add up. They also have a nice bar with different drinks to chose from. For a monday it wasn't crowded and we weren't trying to get home to watch the DEBATE! I thought it was more for adults as I'm not sure this would hold kids attention for long. So much fun. We went for date night. We will go back on a nicer day. But it was still good for the little time we were there.

First time diner and my initial impression was "this is cute!" Very trendy, incredible roof top with a stunning view of the city... but that's kinda where the glamour ends. I came for a friend's 30th bday party (kinda a big deal, right?) so the birthday girl had a large party of 18 people, made a reservation 60 days in advance AND put a $300 deposit to secure the reservation. Everyone showed up on time ready to be seated indoors as was specified on the reservation. I arrived 15 min after and mind you its April so it was still very cold particularly in a rooftop setting. Why was the whole party huddled together OUTSIDE with blankets trying to harness body heat. Not to mention the bday girl is not dressed for an outdoor affair. After speaking to a manager, who was not concerned as I'd assume considering a deposit she finally after waiting for a smooth 75 min. had us seated inside but the party also then needed to be separated at 2 tables. I mean the food was decent but not worth the lack of consideration from management who seemed ticked off after I request if she could offer anything additional to the bday girl for her wait. They simply cannot accommodate large parties in a timely manner and though the servers are very nice they look extremely drained and confused. Do not recommend this place at all unless just going for a drink and rooftop views. read more
