The staff were very friendly and courteous, but from a food perspective this is not the spot. Almost nothing was seasoned. The gyro pita was basically that... gyro meat and pita bread. There were almost no toppings nor flavor. All around all the food was just blah.

I've driven by this place a few times and today was the day! Walking in I was seated and I noticed how cozy this place is and just welcoming. Beachy art work on the walls. Plenty of seating inside as well as a few tables outdoors. Breakfast specials tin from Monday thru Friday 7 am to 9am dine in only $5.75 ( One per person with a purchase of a beverage) The prices are very reasonable! My BLT Club was one of the best I've had! Not that you can go wrong, however something about this one here at Skyway Cafe! Wow! The slaw on the side was very fresh! Yum!

    Price Gouging at its worst

This company is price gouging, and should be boycotted until they learn a valuable lesson. This restaurant, and many others, are charging $1 per egg additional, when their additional cost, is no more than 30 cents per egg. That means they're profiting 70 cents per egg per customer. Do the math at what they're making at our expense. We're all struggling right now, and when they decide to take advantage of us, that's nothing short of gouging. It doesn't cost more money for them to obtain the eggs. They don't have to sanitize them. They don't have to change their buying habits. How can they justify such an exorbitant increase? Ask them when you get there and they'll tell you that everybody is doing it. Is that a good excuse? Don't complain about it. Take decisive action and review their company with a one star review. Stop the price gouging. They also charged me $1.10 for an ounce of honey for my coffee. Do you think they pay $1.10 for that additional ounce, or do you think they're profiting $0.80 per ounce? I understand them wanting to offset their costs, but they're robbing us when we're at our most vulnerable. If this doesn't pee you off.. there's something wrong. People read the reviews and people that stand on their principles, will avoid companies like these. I won't give this company any more of my money.. You can bet on that. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Out on the town I randomly started getting a craving for breakfast so I called up my sister and met her at Skyway cafe for Brunch. We both showed up and we're seated immediately there was nobody inside we were able to order pretty quickly and get everything for the kids and ourselves without hassle. Our server Alina was amazing! and she was very attentive to the kids and questions we had about the menu, our food came out probably 13 minutes after we ordered and everything looked delicious The stuffed French toast was good for some reason when it said cream cheese I thought it was an icing but actual cream cheese it was still good just not what I was expecting, the Pancakes were a hit and the sausage links here are really thick but soft to chew it wasn't bad I actually liked it. The Nutella banana crepes is a HUGE serving we only got through one it was stuffed, the crepe itself is not as thin and crisp as a regular crepe this one is more eggy but good.

Such a cute little spot! It's not super close to the skyway, so I'm not sure of the name, but a nice little breakfast place. Neither myself or my friend ordered wrong. Even though the prices are on point, especially for the amount of food you get, we were stuffed and cleaned our entire plates. Tip - get the pancakes mixed in with a topping (IMO chocolate chips or nothing) & sit outside if it's nice! Rainy days aren't the easiest to find a good, dry spot but I appreciate the option of indoor and outdoor seating.

What a wonderful find!!…read more I took my mom to a Rays game for Mother's Day & we decided to grab some lunch first. After a quick search on Yelp, we landed on The Library. Everything about this restaurant was 5 stars. The service, the seating, the food, the ambiance. Everything! Highly recommend if you're in the area. :)

Great experience with a twist!…read more Food 8.0 Vibe 8.9 Service 8.7 Overall 8.4 This place definitely has his own theme and vibe and it sticks to it. A straightforward menu gives a decent variety and the chef delivered on the flavor. We had the egg Benedict the Gudda grits, and the (not so) French toast. Overall, the food was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the "French toast" for some reason, the chef opted for not doing an egg/milk bath for their French toast, which to me is a grave mistake, who wants to dry French toast? This liberty could be excused, and tolerable for the sake of creativity and innovation, IF it was openly, shared on the menu, or by the server. However, this came to a COMPLETE surprise to me AFTER ordering and receiving it. I've never had DRY French toast, nor do I ever wish to again despite the tasty toppings and well executed cinnamon butter cream, it was still not an enjoyable experience, especially if you're expecting classic French toast. That said the eggs Benedict was phenomenal. The pork is perfectly cooked. The biscuits are light and fluffy. And the sauce was immaculate. The Gudda grits surprise me while not being creamy in the same way of grit, I've had in the past, these retained their grit structure, but it kind of melted in your mouth, providing that creamy texture and they add chopped bacon and a sweet I would guess type of reduction in just the right amount to balance the flavor of the Gudda. I do wish they had sausage and hash browns. But it's not that kind of place. My last complaint would be in the potatoes that come with the Benedict. Whatever other option, they have picked those get anything, but those ours came undercooked, and they refried them for us, and they still were just below average which for a place like this. I expected more. Overall, not a bad place. The coffee was phenomenal. I had a dirty Matcha, and it was perfectly executed. Prices aren't terrible for what you'd expect from downtown St Pete at a fancy place, so I was happy. Service was good and friendly. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the French toast, the manager came over and offered his apologies and remove the item from my bill, even offered to bring us something else, and to have a beverage to go to make up for it. However, I was at the end of our mail and I was ready to get going with the rest of my day, so I said thank you and we departed. Overall, I will not come back for French toast but that eggs Benedict. I would definitely come back and try something else as well. Give it a shot. Just DONT get the French toast. If you like normal French toast.

There is both indoor and outdoor seating here, and we chose to eat inside when we visited for Sunday brunch. We had a reservation, but we made it only an hour in advance, so while I would still recommend given the restaurant is not huge, I don't think it is imperative. The inside of the restaurant is a great vibe and has a lot of character. Definitely a great date spot restaurant. The service was great. Our server was knowledgable on the menu, gave great recommendations and checked in on us often. The food was delicious. We ordered items a la carte for brunch and I don't have anything negative to say about any of it. The portion sizes were great, we definitely did not leave hungry. The scrambled eggs were perfectly soft scrambled. The smoked salmon toast was also amazing as was the beef tartare. This is a great brunch spot!

The appetizers: Tuna tartare was nothing special it also didn't come with any bread or chip just plop on the plate. The goat cheese appetizer special was a small circle with oily crusted bread. One main course was 1/2 rack of lamb cooked perfectly and nice portion, Za'atar cauliflower nice portion didn't taste like Za'atar. Pasta dish had to add black pepper was ok. I must say the cucumber vodka soda spritzer was super refreshing!! The service was great, atmosphere, they really tried but must of had an off kitchen night. We were also disappointed items on the website were not available.
