Great food. We love the Jersey experience. Great location and dining room ambiance. Chicken cheese steak was great. With the new salsa Verde Always quick and accommodating service here. Other than this hot sandwich, we typically go for the Mike's way (with vinegar, oil, oregano) hoagies such as the Italian , or the Jersey Shore's Favorite. It's typically Giant-sized for us, unless we are having chips or a drink. If you want just the sandwich, or want to possibly save some for a late-night snack, the giant is the way to go. It's freaking huge. For consistency in a chain , JM's is our go-to. Wawa is not quite as good and doesn't have the Mike's Way or the same quality ingredients. Subway isn't even in the conversation. Not many spots around here are in the running but they should be. Big steins was pretty decent. Stone Soup had a huge Italian hoagie - we had to take home leftovers. Did you know Jersey Mike's has vegetarian and vegan options, too? Not sure why, but if you could try a portabello mushroom sub. Yuk. read more

I came by Jersey Mike's the other day because honestly I hadn't been to one in ages and wanted a sub. I could tell the guy who waited on me either hated me, hated his job or some combination of the two. I asked him the difference between the regular and the giant, he said, "the size". Now, I'm no genius, but that I could have figured out. The entire ordering process was a chore met with stares. At one point he just walked away for a minute while taking my order. It was rough Everyone else in the store made up for it. The other two working were great. The store itself was clean and well put together. They tried working the line quickly as possible. The sub was good, there was nothing wrong with it it at all except for some mental gymnastics to get it. I'd go back to Jersey Mike's, yes, but more than likely not this location. read more

This is one of my to to options for delivered chain sandwiches and of course way way better than subway. Sadly my sandwich seemed a bit rushed and wasn't cut properly. My experience here, like this review was short and sweet. Walked into a clean restaurant, greeted by the guys behind the counter who were preparing an order for the guy ahead of me. Waited just long enough to decide on my order and then was helped. Pretty straight forward. I ordered an Italian #13 sandwich with everything on it. Sandwich was made quickly, and I was on my way. I use to visit this location almost weekly. In the past few weeks I have had a few problems with my orders. Last week it was a vegetable I'm allergic to so there was no way I asked for it. But they weren't busy yet so it was redone right away. Luckily I ate there that day. However, this week I did an App pickup order. I got there ahead of schedule and then waited over 8 minutes before myself and the other Pre Order patrons all spoke out to get someone to help us. Apparently if there is a long line they focus on in-store customers over the pre-order customers. I saw the sandwich on the table behind the counter so it was available when I walked in. I actually complained about my wait and the employees response was "Don't you see the line!" What is the purpose of the pre-order? I will most likely return to this location in the future but for now they are blacklisted on my lunch rotation. read more

We've been steady customers of this location for several years. Never have we had an issue with product, service or wait times. For the past year+ we've had to deal with the effects of COVID 19, certain restrictions, mask requirements, certain product requirements and mom/pop businesses that can't find employees. I've noticed 1 or 2 star ratings because customers have issues with this and other business because the customers feel the business isn't reacting to their "commands" exactly the way they wish. Consider that this business as many others, can't get new employees, that products aren't available, that things, at this time, may not be to your exact liking. Before you choose to sanctimoniously choose to "review dump" on a business, talk to the owner, put yourself in their shoes, how could your business please everyone in the way you demand you want to be pleased? read more

Jersey Mike's makes a great sub that we enjoyed. But for what you get the price is very high. I payed around $40.00 dollars for two large subs,two small bags of chips and a fountain drink. The prices are to high for me to be a regular customer. You can get a quality sub at Publix for half the price of Jersey Mike's. And I'm not cheap by any means. I'm a single dad and as you can see by my other reviews we eat out quite a bit. Because Jersey Mike's subs are excellent I still have to give it 4 stars. Where do I go when I'm too lazy to pack my lunch and only have 45 minutes in between meetings? To Jersey Mike's of course!! No matter how long the line is, the crew is speedy and efficient and can get your order in super fast... I'm never late getting back to work, and that's how I expect every lunch spot to be! Quality of food is always above par. My go-to order is the Super Sub (#5 on the menu). Fun fact, I'm originally FROM Jersey where I grew up with a sub shop called Blimpie. Now Jersey Mike's Super Sub is the closest thing to my all time favorite sandwich, the Blimpie best. It comes pretty close to my hometown hero and is the best I can find in Florida! I load that badboy all the way, or what they call "Mike's way" with your tomato, lettuce, onion, oil, vinegar, and oregano. For a little extra kick, I always request banana peppers. Perhaps the only thing that's missing is the dark green sweet peppers... For me that would make all the difference, but it's still delicious! Extra tip- good to note that if you're looking for a keto friendly meal, or are looking to lose weight and just want to cut the carbs, you can always opt for a 'sub in a tub' which converts your meaty sandwich into a bowl instead of on bread. i LOVE Jersey Mike's! I will pick them any day over Jimmy John's, Subway, etc. And it's not just this location but any that I have been to. Consistently fast and friendly employees. This one is located in the new Ibis Walk shopping center. Not a whole lot here yet, but I was glad to see that there was a Jersey Mike's so close to where I live. Parking is ample since there are not many other stores open yet. Store is clean every time I've been in. The guys that work here are always friendly and helpful. We always have friendly conversations so we both don't just stand there awkwardly while they make my order. I always get the turkey sub Mike's way and I really don't know what it is about this sub...the oil/vinegar that they use? The way the turkey is sliced? No idea! Because everything just goes together perfectly and tastes sooooo good! I got my son a chicken Philly and he thoroughly enjoyed his sub too. Awesome place, I love it! read more

Perhaps the BEST chain submarine? I discovered JMS on a work road trip in Sarasota almost a decade ago and loved it! Way too far from me, later they opened a location in Oldsmar, just west of the flea market. I found many excuses to make the drive on weekends. Then finally, they opened a few locations right near me. A bit more expensive, but one gets what one pays for, right? Service or quality is never a question at any JM location that I have experienced. They run a tight ship. All of their subs are great, but the #13 Italian is what got me hooked and brings me back. Try it "Mike's Way" - fully veg dressed, with lots of oil/vinegar, and sprinkled with dried herbs. This particular #13 sub evokes some great memories from the many Mom & Pop sub joints over the years, especially in the Gateway area. I've tried their hot subs as well. None have ever disappointed. I kinda hate reviewing chain restaurants sometimes because often times it feels like you will get the same experience no matter which location you go to. This place is what I would expect from a jersey mike subs. The place is clean, food is fresh, food is good and the food actually looks good *cough* not that subway lettuce that looks brown-blue *cough*. Yes, this place is a little more expensive than most sandwich restaurants but the subs are good and the service is fast. I was initially excited to have the famous Jersey Mike's subs come to St. Pete. I had heard about it and saw it featured on the food network. So after going there twice, I am thoroughly convinced that they hype is way bigger than the delivery. The staff were excellent, high spirited, smiling, very helpful, and friendly. The restaurant itself was spotless which one would expect in a brand new store. While the staff is nice and the restaurant clean, I feel that the food just doesn't pack the value that will get my lunch money. I ordered a chicken parm sub which comes in two sizes, Reg which is 7" and Giant which is 15". 7" is just an inch larger than most sub shops small and the giant is too big for one normal person to enjoy. I ordered the regular for $6.25 (the giant was $11.25). Everything seemed to be reheated. The bread tasted about a day old and wasn't toasted so by the time I got back to the office, the tomato sauce (I wouldn't call it marinara) was soaked into the bread. The cheese seemed like it melted on the way so it was in that half solid, half melted phase. The chicken tasted average at best. All in all, I think that sub should have cost about $5 since I can go to the pizza shop in the complex next door and get a 12" chicken parm for a $1 more on toasted bread, with melted cheese, and a robust tasting sauce. I had to give Mike's a try and a second chance but there will not be a third. read more

Wow super disappointed! This location used to be on point. Now it's like they are disheveled. I came j. And placed my order of a buffalo chicken wrap with ranch in the side. I waited in the line after I ordered, got up to pay and luckily I had points for a free meal! Yay! And guess what.....my food was never even started. All others subs were being made but not mine. I'm lucky o have an hour lunch but this is ridiculous! Not coming to this location again. Not sure what happened here. Hope they get it together in the future. Total wait time close to 20 minutes. The cashier had to leave her post to man the grill because the guy who was supposed be doing his job must've been day dreaming. read more

They do not honor online orders or times. My online order for 2 6 inch sandwiches was over 30 minutes late. The Manager Ryan is extremely rude and says that online orders are not the priority and neither is customer service. My advice is to go to any other sub shop in the area... read more

Delicious, filling subs. I read somewhere that a regular sized sub is about 7 inches. I was a little worried about how full I was going to be, because at subway I can devour a footlong. I did not have to worry. I could have probably eaten half of it and been full, but since it tasted so good I figured that would be a disservice and ended up eating the whole thing. That's probably why they offer a mini, for people who actually eat normal lunch sizes. I think what makes their subs so filling is they are packed with wholesome food. I was reading the website as I ate the sub (I'm weird, don't judge me) and I enjoyed seeing how they try to get locally sourced produce when available and quality ingredients. Reading about how their roast beef is cooked in store almost made me go back to try it. I fully believe that real ingredients means eating less and still feeling satisfied and that is what happened to me with this sandwich. I got the regular turkey and provolone on wheat bread done Mike's way. I always look at nutrition facts when they are available and luckily Mike's are. What was surprising to me is I normally believe a wrap to be a healthier option than bread, but it turns out they are about the same calories. Most of the regular sandwiches are in the 700-900 range, which is kind of steep to me. Again, those minis are probably the right portion size for most people, but as Americans, we expect more. Luckily the turkey and provolone is 530 calories so I ate the sandwich and felt relatively guilt free (as I pray that is not a typo on the nutrition information, since it was pretty low compared to the rest). The guy making my order was super friendly. I am a terrible person when I'm hungry. I try to be friendly, but I'm pretty disengaged. This guy did not give up and he was chatty in a non-annoying way. That is quite a skill to have. This is definitely the person you want always behind the counter when you're purchasing something. I came at about 11:30 a.m. to try to beat the lunch rush. It worked, since there was only one person ahead of me and nobody came in after. Either that or this location is not that busy. I read that the location further north on Roosevelt can get packed, so if you're in the middle, like me, I'd try this one. It was super speedy getting my sandwich. Like I said earlier, the sandwich was very filling. I thought it was a great sub. I expected Mike's way to add a bit more flavor than it did. It was a good sandwich, but I felt it was missing the oomph that Mike's way promised. However, it is still a great option when you're looking for a quick and filling lunch. read more

I love Jersey Mike's but this location is so inconsistent. One week it's good, the next it's not. We used to order from here weekly and stopped because the sandwiches got so sloppy and messy several times in a row. We recently tried them again and it was great! Then we tried again the next week and they left all the stuff off my sub. I got 1/3 of my meat and lettuce. read more

I tried the Chipotle Cheese Steak on Rosemary Bread. It was amazing. The meat was wonderful and very fresh. The onions were great too. My sub were very messy (in a good way) and had cheese oozing out of everywhere. The subs were out to our table very fast. I can't think of anything wrong with my whole experience. Fresh subs and friendly service! This was the first Jersey Mike's I've ever visited and since that day a few months ago, I can tell you that not all Jersey Mike's are created the same. This location consistently has fresher bread than the other locations I have tried. It's not always straight out of the oven fresh, but many times is.
