I have only had the beer there but they have an extensive list! I have heard the mixed drinks are great though and strong enough.

We asked our waitress how a $17 omelet had increased so much and were told that Legends is now charging $1 for each and every vegetable added to an omelet. While it was listed on the menu, we didn't realize each vegetable would be an additional charge. It should have been communicated that EVERY additional vegetable will be $1! Our total came to $51 before tip--for two omelets. We expected it to be around $35. We understand that restaurants have had to raise prices, and we don't mind paying more for quality food. What is disappointing is the feeling of being nickel-and-dimed over basic vegetable toppings that have always been part of how we've enjoyed our omelets. The vegetables added to an omelet are so minimal, I don't understand the change. Sadly, this pricing change means we'll no longer be returning. It's disappointing to lose one of our favorite breakfast spots over a pricing policy that just doesn't feel like a good value anymore.

When the waitress came over to take my order I asked if they had fresh coffee she said "No" we only make it once in the morning. So there isn't any coffee? What? How bizarre is that policy? When I placed my order she asked me if I wanted the salad instead of the steamed vegetables I said "Is it the same price?" She said "Yes". When I got my bill the steak was more than what the menu said. I didn't notice until I had already paid. I took a look at the menu again and yup it says $28 not $29.50. So did the price of the menu change and they haven't updated the menus....or did she charge me extra, but told me it was the same price? The food was ok. Steak was pretty good with added mushrooms, potatoes were cold with hard chunks of potatoes and the roll was kinda hard with melted butter.

If you're in Sandy, Utah and find yourself in dire need of pizza, beer, and a rollicking good time, Slackwater is the place to be. I went there expecting a good slice, and left with my mind blown like a balloon at a kid's birthday party. Let's talk about their beer list first - it's crazier than a squirrel on espresso. With so many options, I felt like a kid in a candy store, except the candy was beer, and I was a very thirsty adult. Now, let's get to the main event: Samantha, the bartender extraordinaire. If there's an award for the best bartender this side of the Mississippi, just hand it over to her now. She's got more charisma than a stand-up comedian at a pizza convention. Samantha picked my beer with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker and the flair of a Las Vegas magician. I don't know what kind of sorcery she uses, but her beer choices were pure magic. And the food - oh, the food! The pizza was so good it made my taste buds sing "That's Amore." The wings were the perfect balance of crispy and juicy, like they were auditioning for a role in a food commercial. And the half salad? It was so fresh, it probably moonlights as a motivational speaker for other salads. I give them a 2 star merely because of the management of the Sandy location and the day staff. They openly support the insurrection and Q theories. Joey, was the manager on duty, whom yelled at a couple their having lunch. Joey called them names, demeaned them, then kicked them out., for really, no reason. The man had asked 1 question, about an attire of a waitress employed by Slackwater; she was wearing a shirt with propaganda pushed by Qanon, Congress woman MG, and Trump. The shirt said "1776 Fight for Freedom" it was a tank top navy blue. The question was simply "do you know what your waitresses shirt stands for?" The manager approached them aggressively from the get go, and the staff girls were laughing and making fun of the customers question, unprofessionally. The manager got irritated quickly and as the customer expressed he was insulted by it, and that it didn't seem to match the atmosphere of the place, the manager cut him off and finished them out, refused to allow their waiter cash them out and told them they were kicked out. The entire girl staff was gathered in circles and felt unprofessional and alot like bullying. Unbelievably horrible behavior by the management and the waitress' there. Food was great, but staff horrible behavior and energy. If need a beer and pizza there are other great places in the valley! read more

3 Stars - Good Pizza, but Inconsistent Experience Slackwater - Utah Visited: July 1, 2026 I visited Slackwater with a few friends and had a generally decent but uneven experience. The atmosphere is lively and the restaurant has a fun, casual vibe, but it can get very loud and crowded, which made it a bit hard to relax and have a conversation. The pizza was good overall, with a solid crust and fresh toppings, but it wasn't quite as consistent as I was hoping for given the reputation. Some slices were excellent, while others felt a bit underwhelming or slightly overcooked. The beer selection is definitely a highlight, with a wide variety of local and craft options that pair well with the food. Service was friendly enough, but things moved slowly, especially when it came to getting our order and follow-up items like refills and the check. It wasn't a bad experience, just not particularly smooth or attentive. Prices felt a little high for what you get, especially considering the portion sizes and the wait time. We're regulars at Slackwater, attracted by their great beer selection and a decent Red Sangria. I enjoy trying something new from their special menu each time we visit, as their creations have usually been a hit. However, our last visit in September left me with a meh! On the positive side, our kids adore their cheese pizza, and it's a relief to have a tasty dairy cheese option for our younger son, who has a dairy intolerance. It's not easy finding suitable places for him to eat, and Slackwater's pizza options make it a go-to for us. There are a couple of areas that could use improvement, though. Their nachos were a letdown, and the white sangria tasted watered down. However, their regular pizza offerings never disappoint, except for one their "taste like burning pizza". On the topic of salads, I usually stay away since I am not a fan of their offe One appetizer that keeps us coming back is their sun-dried and fried wings - they're an absolute favorite. Nights like this are why we love Slackwater. The pizza was great, the beers were cold, and we spent way longer there than we planned to--which always seems to happen when we're having a good time. A huge thank you to Ash, Jessa, and Zach for making the night what it was. You can tell when people genuinely enjoy what they do and enjoy being around their guests, and that's exactly how it felt all night. Ash, you're family at this point. Walking in and seeing you is like running into someone we've known forever. You always make us feel welcome, always make us laugh, and somehow make every visit feel a little more special than the last. Jessa and Zach were awesome too. The three of you made us feel less like customers and more like friends hanging out over pizza and beers. That's a rare thing these days, and it's a big reason we keep coming back. A Pizza Experience Worth Savoring! I recently visited Slackwater, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was simply fantastic, with flavors that really stood out, thanks to their use of high-quality ingredients and the fact that much of the menu is made in-house. You can truly taste the difference in every bite! One small hiccup in our visit was that our drinks didn't arrive before our appetizer. However, the manager quickly noticed this oversight and graciously took care of the appetizer for us. It's rare to find customer service at this level. After our meal, the manager came by to personally check in on us and ask how we enjoyed everything. This kind of attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction is something I wish every restaurant offered. Overall, Slackwater delivered an unforgettable dining experience. The Italian Job, calzone style, was absolutely delicious and hit all the right notes. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, creating a perfect setting for our meal. While I enjoyed the Peachy Keen Wings, I do wish they had been a bit larger, and the sauce could have had a bit more punch. Really good food. Service isn't too bad. Wait is ridiculous. Using Yelp to get onto the waitlist is a joke. If you accidentally make it at the wrong location it doesn't tell you which location you joined the wait list at. The link via text message to check your place in line does not work. Waited for 40 minutes only to go in and find out it was the wrong location and then be told it was another 40 minute wait. Hostess stand was minimally helpful. I like their pizza. It's a drive to get there fo us so don't know that we will make the trip back in the future. Which is too bad. Guess if you don't mind waiting for an hour to be seated then it's worth is. I absolutely love Slackwater! Their pizza is hands-down my favorite, especially the Grape & Gorgeous--it's a must-try. I also really enjoy the California Sunrise and the Buffalo Chicken pizzas. Love this place! Went w/the guys this weekend and don't remember the beer I had but it was real smooth and I love their pizzas. Always quite busy, but we got on the waitlist on our drive there and by the time we arrived we just had to wait about 10 mins so not bad at all. I explained that under the ADA, there is no "official documentation" and they are not allowed to ask for any paperwork, certification, or ID for service animals. They can only ask two questions: 1) Is this a service animal required because of a disability? and 2) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Instead, this felt like a interrogation, and was treated as though I was trying to scam them with a fake pet. It was humiliating, stressful, and a clear violation of federal law. My service dog was calm and well-behaved the entire time, the managements short commings in staff training ruined what should have been a simple meal out. I left without eating and took my dollars elsewhere. I do not blame the hostess as I can guarantee she was directed to ask for "documentation". The blame lies completely with management being uneducated themselves reference federal law governing service dogs. DO BETTER...

Both dishes were outstanding. The smoked salmon toast was bright and fresh. I loved the hard boiled egg and dill. The chicken and waffles were a standout. The chicken was crispy and coated in a sticky, flavorful sauce that kept us coming back for more. The waffles were exactly what you want them to be. Between the delicious food, creative cocktails, excellent service, and great atmosphere, Sunday's Best was a great brunch experience. We'll definitely be back!

The server took it back, and from past experience, I watched closely! And.... I watched the prep worker take the burger patty with the "fixins", with his gloved hand, from the regular bun and put it on a gluten free bun! That is a major cross-contamination issue and dangerous for someone with celiac disease. I got really upset and walked up to one of the staff and told them what I saw. This is not okay. I am grateful to the staff because I did see someone explain why it's wasn't okay. But still.... What if I hadn't been watching?
