Tomato and melon salad
Courtney P.

Looking for a bite to eat before heading to a Utah football game, my husband and I decided to try Nomad East. Our waitress was extremely kind and engaging, offering wonderful suggestions and also some recommendations for local things to do while we were visiting Salt Lake City. To start, we decided to try the esquites as well as the tomatoes and melon salad. Both were extremely flavorful and full of fresh ingredients. I could have easily eaten several portions of both and been content. For our pizza, we decided to try the Popeye's pizza. We both agreed that it was a unique pizza that neither one of us would probably experience anywhere else, and we did not regret it. To finish, we tried the lemon custard, and it was the perfect tangy way to end our meal. I thoroughly enjoyed this little neighborhood eatery and if I were a local, this would be one of my favorite go to places.

I love Nomad East! Been here multiple times but this time I went with the burger. There aren't many gluten free options at Nomad East but I typically make do with their salads, Bavette steak, or their burger on lettuce wrap. Nomad East is cozy and warm. The vibes in there are cool and relaxed. Staff is great and quick to respond to your needs. Though I haven't been able to try their pizza, I know that everyone LOVES the pizza flavors they offer. I recently bought a few pizzas here for a friend because I knew that typically most people are very satisfied with Nomad East pizza. She was very happy with her pizza! One thing to note is that their wedge salad with ranch is INCREDIBLE. You guys...I could drink that ranch. It is a perfect balance of sweet and salty. Get it. It's worth it. Also, their family style salad with golden raisins is delicious. I could eat both of these salads often. My picture isn't anything special...but look at those pickles...YUM.

Roni Boy pizza

Came here for a solo dinner when I was in town for work. The place is super cute and quaint but bold, fun menu. I went with a glass of the house red blend red, the wedge salad and the Roni Boy Pizza. The wine was a little on the sour side, the salad was very good but drenched in dressing and the pizza had the perfect dough but marinara sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking. Unfortunately the service was not the best-- besides taking my order and dropping off my food, I didn't see my server at all. I know it's been around for a bit and they were busy when I went, I'm thinking, maybe it was just an off night-- will give it another try next time I'm in town.

Quick dinner, big flavor! We found Nomad East on Yelp and were excited to try it--especially for the pizza, which everyone seems to rave about. Parking in the area is a bit limited, but if you're determined, you can snag a spot nearby. We came on a Friday without a reservation (would recommend one!), but luckily were seated within five minutes. It's community-style seating, and we were told someone might join us, which we actually loved--it felt very European. We were heading to a show, so this was a quick dinner. Started with iced tea (served in a mason jar--nice touch!) and shared the wedge salad. That salad was huge and loaded with goodies--bacon, blue cheese, super crisp lettuce. Really satisfying. Then we built our own pizza: prosciutto, olives, basil, mushrooms. Every bite was delicious. The crust was on point--crispy, chewy, flavorful. Not a single complaint. The place was bustling, but everything moved efficiently, and the vibe was fun and lively. Service was minimal due to the quick turnaround, but we had what we needed. Looking forward to going back when we have more time to explore the rest of the menu--it all sounded super fresh and tempting!

The pizza was outstanding but I have to give this place 4 stars due to the extremely long wait for our food. We sat outside and I'm not sure if this means preference is not given to us but it took over an hour between ordering and receiving our pizza. Nonetheless the pizza was great, just not necessarily worth the wait.

I had been to their old north temple spit a few times but this was my first visit to the east location. It's a little small but it's cozy. There is ADA parking. We were greatly warmly and sat. I had the wedge salad and it was honestly one of the better ones I have had. Nice fresh crisp lettuce, salty smoky bacon, pepita seeds for that crunch and fresh made ranch. It was delicious. Honestly would go back for that. We each ordered a pizza and they were piping hot and tasty. No complaints here. I love a good solid pizza. Chefs kiss was the sweet tea! Fresh brewed and they serve it with a little simple syrup. Server was pleasant and easy to chat with. Honestly writing this, I think I need to go back.

stumbled upon this place by accident.... and my goodness i'm glad i did!!!! this is definitely my new go-to spot. the food is exceptional. everything tastes so fresh and is flavorful. the wedge was the best i've ever had. our waiter, sophie was so kind and attentive, she really made the whole experience great. the manager also stopped by twice to chat about our visit to make sure we were enjoying it. 10/10 !!! i will be recommending this place to everyone i know!!

Damm, this place is fire!! I can't even tell you the menu choices are so hard to decide from, it's a bit of the beaten path but worth it. I'm telling you, go there! They are opening in daybreak and I hope the menu is more like this spot vs. the one off of 13th south. The screen there is great and you can tell they are down to be there and support the business in a great way! The other location is just not the same! Just sayin!! Go there, you will not be disappointed and the beer is by unita and it's bomb!!

Seating was quick. The atmosphere was nice. Service time was reasonable for making the pizza fresh. Recommend if you have not tried this type of pizza.

Cute spot with a no frills interior. Patio looks inviting but it was winter and too cold for outdoor seating during my visit. Parking is limited. Full bar, reservations are available but not necessary during the week. Servers were kind and prompt. Water stayed full and we were assisted quickly. Pizza itself was ok... crust was soft in the middle and toppings were uneven. I was really hoping for better quality from this place but it was fun to try.

New pizza (to me) on the menu. Stalk to the Hand

This spot is always dependable, consistent and delicious. I ventured off and got a new pizza, usually I do the Roni Boy (love the hot honey and peppers) or the Betty White (the golden raisins and arugula combo is insane) and it wasn't my favorite, but my friend loved it, so. The service is ALWAYS a toss up, slow, gotta remind them of sides, refills, etc often but as long as you aren't in a rush it's easy to get past once the food comes out. Parking is horrif, but if you don't mind a lil neighborhood stroll it makes for a lovely evening.

Such a cozy spot with beautiful decor and ambience, from book shelves to plants galore. I love watching them prep and cook the pizza in the beautiful oven while snacking on the house bread and smoked salmon salad. Their dishware is also so cute and unique. The Marguerita pizza and the smoked salmon salad are my favorite. The pizza dough is an excellent thin crust but with enough weight to not get soggy or droop with toppings. A great spot to take out of towners!

Great service and great food. I really liked the outdoor seating of the restaurant. The wedge salad, fingerling potatoes, and the pretty in pink pizza were amazing.

How many people does one pizza feed? Thanks!

It's not a huge pizza but it can easily feed 2 people. It's bigger than a personal sized pizza but too small for more than 2 people without adding salads or other options.

Would I be harshing the vibe here if I came with a baby and a well behaved 3 year old?

Not at all! Especially since they have outdoor seating, weather permitting, that's great for kids. I take my kids there all the time! They love it!

If it's your first visit, just know lunch works a little differently, you walk up to the counter and order from the deli case. We had no idea what we were doing at first, but the woman helping us at the counter was super patient and walked us through everything and gave recommendations. So Nice! I went with the mozzarella-filled risotto ball with marinara and a mozzarella tomato salad. Yes, it was a very mozzarella-heavy lunch choice and I stand by it. Also grabbed a fro-sè and kept it simple with a San Pellegrino. My other half definitely won the "better lunch" competition with egg salad sandwich, roasted brussels sprouts, and the pasta salad combo was ridiculously good. Parking was easier than expected too. There's a side parking lot we totally missed at first, plus a lot of nearby street parking. Definitely one of those places I'd go back to on another sunny day just to sit outside, snack, and slowly sip a fro-sè.

There's also a cute little bakery/cafe inside that I definitely want to try next time. Such a great spot to relax, have drinks, and enjoy the atmosphere. Already looking forward to going back for the full experience.
