I ordered for delivery an extra large pizza and french fries. Now the pizza was OK. The dough was a little bit undercooked, but the toppings tasted overall good. BUT the french fries were a total swing and a miss. I was expecting them to be a little bit cold but what I received was double fried french fries- which basically means they were once fried to perfection, then left aside (for hours or days) and then before delivery they drowned the same french fries in hot oil again and over fried the heck out of it. so the result was very very oily french fries, half of them super soggy and the other half brittle and overcooked. went straight to the trash. We probably shouldn't have ordered french fries from a pizza place but since that's what they advertised on their new flyers they should be able to deliver everything. Very disappointed with the customer service in this business. Last night my friends and I and paid almost $33.00 for pizzas and soda that we waited for over 45 minutes and nobody came to our table. Finally I approached the waitress (customer service lady) and told her what's going on with the pizza and she replied that we have to wait for another 10 more minutes ?? Which I think in my opinion very un professional Another party came after us and was greeted informal a formal way. And then I was very upset and I asked the lady to give me my money back and then she made a phone call to her boss. She was speaking in a foreign language that I didnt understand I finally got my money back but I didn't get a good experience here very poor customer service. Pizza was just ok. It was a little on the burnt side. Cheese bread was hard, burnt and only one side of the bread had cheese on it. This is not ok since I'm paying $2.99 for two little slices. Not sure if they aren't paying attention or just so busy they leave the food in too long but burnt pizza and bread is never a good thing. read more

As were sitting eating one of the employees says it's much more money to stay and eat. That was extremely unprofessional. I tried ordering the special, the lady at the front counter taking the order said the special was only for pick up, I said it's fine we were still gunna stay and eat. In short: Their well designed menu gave me hopes of a good lunch, Slash Pizza exceeded my expectations. If you live/work nearby, I'll gladly vouch for the quality and value, I'll be back for sure. The salad was simple but nice, fresh romaine lettuce and fresh cut veggies ( I was expecting one of those tiny after-thought salads and was pleasantly surprised). The sandwich was simply perfect. A generous portion of chicken breast, provolone, mushrooms and other veggies in a large toasted baguette....awesome! Way better than anything you can get from a franchise sandwich place in both quality and quantity for the same price. My uncle (possibly one of the pickiest eaters on earth) ordered the Torino pizza with no marinara sauce & thin crust. The crust arrived deliciously crispy and the pizza, hot and flavorful. He genuinely liked his lunch and said he'd be back. This was a first...he usually finds fault in every place I've ever taken him. The location is a bit hidden away, tucked in a shopping center between a liquor store and the Winchester Room (a great little local dive bar).The atmosphere inside is casual but very clean and organized. One thing to note...if you're coming expecting service from an overly friendly, frozen-smiled staff that merrily says "welcome to our pizza place" as you step through the door...you're not gonna get it. I've seen many a yelper ding their review for other eateries because the staff wasn't grinning ear to ear when they took their order or brought their food. How do I love thee, let me count the ways.... First, there is no sauce in the calzone but they give you some on the side. There isn't supposed to be any in there anyway so I like this. Second, and third, ricotta and mozzarella, just the right amount. Melty but not stringy, full but not fattening, well sort of. Basically more than enough cheese without tasting like it is all cheese. Forth, the ricotta, yes again. I don't know what kind of ricotta they buy but I love it. It is on the sweeter side and a flavorful, robust cheese in its own right. I know it is only food but some people care about these details. Fifth, the guts are proportional. The loaded calzone lets you pick up to four items and they always have a nice balance and plenty of each ingredient. It is not so packed that it makes a huge mess but they don't cheap out on you. Sixth, slits on the top. Another minor detail that makes a good calzone. Can't say why, won't pretend to know, they just belong there. Seventh, there is no cheese/sauce on top. WHO does that??? I don't know why but it seems to happen. That isn't right and they don't do it. Maybe if you ask nicely.... That may all seem like minutia but combined it makes the perfect calzone. If you are feeling adventurous try my pick four; tomatoes, mushrooms, pineapple and fresh basil. Sounds weird but together it is unforgettable. read more

We loved the veggie pizza... it was very good. They accommodated modifications to the pizza, happily, which is always pleasant. Their wings were one of my favorite I have had from a pizza place in a while. They were very crispy and that's how I love my wings. Spice level was also great.
