Love the food. This is my second time getting the large pizza special with 8 wings. Both times it was delicious, well priced and HOT! I hate cold food...love that this place makes it fresh! They do a half and half pizza for me and got it right both times! Also, the customer service is great. They're so polite on the phone and at the counter! The young man working at the counter is very kind and has manners unlike most young men these days! Great place! Thank you! read more

Ameci Pizza has been our go-to for delivery lately. We usually get a large meatball and mushroom ($13.99) It's a good combo. Thinly sliced meatball and plenty of mushroom. They never skimp on the toppings. The crust is always baked right and the sauce & cheese are really tasty. It's a good pie... We also ordered the deluxe (large - $17.99) and it was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and olives. It was good. The vegetable toppings tasted fresh. That's a must. We havent dined-in so I cant speak for the service or atmosphere of the dining room but we like what we've been getting and stick to the usual. The pizza hasnt disappointed yet. The hot wings on the other hand are tiny. Hard to find smaller wings than theirs. It's kind of crazy how small they are. It's a pass for me. Stick to the pizza and you'll be good. read more

My wife doesn't really eat pizza, so anytime she's out of town I have to run over to Ameci's and get me some pizza. They hit all the points a neighborhood pizza spot needs to hit, reasonably priced, decently portioned, tastes pretty good, and reasonably quick. In particular, my favorite thing is probably the Calzones. I enjoyed the Meatlovers one. I would (and I'd recommend you also) get an extra thing of marinara though. It is a combination that works well. The Cheese Bread Sticks appetizer is excellent as well, basically a little garlic cheese pizza. Pizza and Calzones and the cheese bread are good. That said, the times I've tried pigs in a blanket, fries, and the salad, it's not quite at the same level. I haven't been disappointed in the pizza, and I've tried a few of them. read more

Ameci's Pizza is one of my favorite "small chain" pizza spots. The customer service at this Glendale location is accommodating and kind. They once delivered to me right before closing time with no attitude and even slightly out of delivery area - thank you! Their Deluxe pizza is my go to... pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, onions. It's a loaded pizza yet not heavy like some places make it. The crust is thinner and can hold the toppings together nicely; most importantly one can taste the sauce! This place isn't a artisan pizza spot and am ok with that. My brother had a coupon for a three topping large pizza, so we decided to give this place a try near the end of September. When we placed the order to this location, we realized that we forgot the coupon at home since we were running errands, but they honored it after we described it to them and said we would pick up our order there. We got mushroom, sausage, and pepperoni on top and were able to get a free garlic bread side after checking in when we picked up our pizza. We brought our food home and we're excited to dig in since the garlic bread smelled delicious. I was surprise that the garlic bread was the size of a personal pizza and was good on it's own, even though there was a side of marinara sauce to dip them in. The pizza itself was good and I appreciated that the crust was soft for a thin crust pizza. I would definitely go back for just the garlic bread though hehe read more

Quickly becoming my go to pizza and wings place for a last minute late night delivery. Every time, the food is fast and hot. Ordered the medium 12" thin crust with pepperoni and mushrooms extra cheese and classic hot 8pc wings with blue cheese. It's one of the few delivery pizzas I don't have to reheat. The texture and mix of ingredients is spot on. And the wings are moist, meaty and great flavor. It's so easy to mess up this combo, but after 5-6 times ordering, the consistency here is what keeps me coming back. At some point, I'll actually make it to the restaurant. Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted by staff- everyone was kind and helpful when deciding what to order. If you are into charred, burnt to a crisp pizza.. this is your place! The fact that someone can pull this pizza out of an oven and place into a box for a customer to eat, is beyond me!! This is HORRIBLE! We called spoke to the manager and his initial response was " what do you want me to do about it" he then proceeded to say he would make another pizza for us if we brought this burnt piece of dough back. Mind you we paid and tipped for chownow to deliver and waited about 1.5 hours. He offered to deliver a fresh pizza as long as we sent the burnt one back. I asked the manager if they quality check and he said they were very busy that night. After much frustration of being hungry and the back and forth, I asked the manager to refund my money and he did. Had the manager not had his initial bad attitude this experience would of gone much differently. SAVE YOUR MONEY folks DOMINOES does a better quality check than this place and better customer service. read more

Can't stand a businesses that does the bait-and-switch. On Yelp it says 15% off - use code "insta15." Nothing worked online - like advertised - so I called. The guy couldn't care less, and said he didn't know what I was talking about. He had the personality of a green olive. Told him to check his own Yelp account and he didn't want to. So....I placed this review. There are so many pizza places in Glendale, so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

Stopped by on Sunday about 5:30 pm to get a Personal sized pizza for the NFL game. Had ordered a 10" and Arthur stepped up to offer me a Large pizza for the same price. Take that deal ..!! Somebody ordered pizzas for a party and then didn't pick them up. So they sold those pizzas for deep discounts. It was just my luck to be there at the right time. There's not much parking it's a small storefront on the street. However the pizza is really good just like any other Ameci pizza. The workers really care about making excellent pizza and want to make every customer happy. Well recommended, we will return. read more

Great service the guy that was there today , Friday white dude really nice and fast !! Pizza was 10/10. Ameci Pizza Kitchen offers a satisfying pizza. I ordered a Jumbo pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and fresh pineapple. The pizza had a chewy crust and not too greasy. I also ordered the pigs and the blanket. The pigs and the blanket could have used more flavor as the dough was very plain but tasted fine with ketchup. Established in 1984.

Nick Andrisano was born in and raised in New York City, where his Italian parents and grandparents opened a pizza restaurant in 1931. In 1979, Nick moved to Los Angeles and opened 2 upscale dining establishments called Ameci Italian Cuisine. Angelo Falato, the son of a restaurant family from Rome, traveled to Colombia, Venezuela and Guatemala before finally settling in Los Angeles where he opened a broasted chicken restaurant. In 1984, Nick and Angelo partnered to open the first Ameci Pizza Kitchen.

My son and I both enjoyed the Bruschetta and thought it tasted very good. The bread was nicely toasted and the tomatoes were seasoned well. It was also a good portion, easily shareable between 2-3 people. The salad wasn't our favorite and we've definitely had better at other restaurants. The lettuce didn't taste too fresh and the dressing wasn't really that good. The portion size was good, though. For my entrée, I got the Spicy Rigatoni ($22) but I asked for it to be light on the spice and added shrimp (+$12). It tasted fine, nothing really to write home about. I had to ask Mia to microwave it for a minute because it wasn't hot. My son ordered the Chicken Parmigiana ($23) but asked for the chicken to be grilled instead of breaded. He said he enjoyed his dish and the tomato sauce had a good amount of garlic in it. For dessert, Mia was kind enough to bring out a complimentary Key Lime Cheesecake since she found out my son is celebrating his birthday in a few days. She was seriously impeccable. Honestly, the place is just really drab and boring. There isn't much decor and it feels like a slightly elevated diner that serves beer and wine. It was a Friday night and there was no one in there/no pickup orders. We were there from about 7:30pm-10pm when they closed and only 3 other parties came in. The Crazy is a white sauce and the pepperoni is a red sauce and they had no problems with that. Amazing. Love it when things are this customizable and this easy. Pizza crust is solid. I normally don't eat my crust, but this one has good flavor and I enjoyed it all on its own. It's a really thin crust that I would normally eat with a knife and fork, but not so thin that you can't pick it up and eat it folded, if that's your bag. The round on the Crazy half all went well together - very balanced flavors and very nice quality ingredients. My dining partner enjoyed his pepperoni/sausage half less, but said that the pepperonis were the most flavorful ingredient, the sausage didn't do it at all for him (too little flavor) and that the sauce want his favorite. However he still said that he enjoyed the pizza overall! We've heard that their ajarskis are not to be missed, so next time we will try that. I can imagine that this crust would lend itself perfectly to ajarski. We also got some sodas. They have the glass bottle Cokes w cane sugar! And they have Dr Pepper (cans only)! I feel like that's often hard to find at restaurants, and it's my favorite. This place is cozy. They have a handful of nice wooden tables inside, and the space is actually comfortable to sit in, with good lighting and the warmth of the pizza oven on cold days! The have two outside tables as well, with a heater! This style of pizza really reminds me of the pizzas in northern Italy, and this place is doing quite a good version of that that I feel you actually rarely find here, even in LA and certainly not at these great prices. I've had fancy expensive versions like this in this town that I've enjoyed less. On that point alone, this place is knocking it out of the park. Quality that doesn't break the bank. Our pizza was prepared quickly, brought to our table pipping hot and with friendly service. Parking is pretty easy in this location, if not put front in the diagonal street spaces, along the streets in the neighborhood on the ends of the block. And if you're hankering for dessert, there's an excellent gelato place right next door to complete your tour of Italy!

If I had known it was only 4 pieces, I would have ordered 1 lb instead. The delivery was on time, and the delivery driver was very polite. While I would recommend this place for pizza, I would not recommend it for wings.

The pizza is the way I love-- it's a thin / crispy pizza and the dough is perfectly cooked. Ingredients were amazing. The wings can be taken tossed with sauce or with sauce on the side. I go them tossed and they are spicy but delicious and crispy while still being saucy. Cheese sticks come with an incredible sauce that's not really marinara but more of a bbq which I prefer.
