Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. The stylist was on the phone for most of the appointment and did not communicate key decisions about my hair in real time. I clearly requested minimal leave-out, and she agreed--yet did the opposite, leaving my leave out in rubber bands down the center of my head. My braids were unraveling the same day, and my clip-ins were falling out during an important graduation photo shoot. When I reached out, she made multiple excuses which included blaming the thickness of my hair and clip-in quantity--none of which were mentioned DURING the service. But what was mentioned was how thick and full my clip ins were, stylist even asked where they were purchased from ,so very contradicting to her excuses made . She offered $25 off a future style (which I will not be returning for) but never honored the $25 off that was supposed to come with my first appointment per her booking website. For the time, money, and stress involved, the lack of professionalism and accountability was extremely disappointing. read more

Sola Salon is definitely worth a try. This salon is designed well. There are many separate hairstylists booths with many different styles. I was pleasantly surprised! Lisa De Leon at Sola Salons just breathed new life into me. She cut and colored my hair Thursday and I was shocked and over-whelmed at how wonderful it looks and feels. I feel I lost hope for awhile there. I had her phone number sitting there for months from great reviews I saw about her. But I was embarrassed because I had not had my hair cut in almost two years. Because of Lock-down, then medical issues. She welcomed me like I was an old friend and wanted to do the best for me. I scheduled an appointment with this Beautician Danielle Garcia a week ago for a touch up I had an appointment set for 2:30 and when I arrived for my appointment she had me wait for over 30 minutes. I was going in for a simple root touch up and I had let her know the color that I had been using with my sons girlfriend who is also a hairdresser that really works for me and she completely disregarded the formula I had taken in with me for her to use and went on to tell me she wasn't going to use it and that she was going to do something different because she didn't like it. Me feeling that she knew what she was doing felt that it would be ok maybe it would come out good. IT DID NOT. I told her I don't like any red/orange tone and to just stay in the same shade that I had already had and just a ROOT TOUCH UP! She went on to applying a very dark color and of course with RED under tones over my ENTIRE head then letting it sit for a very long time definitely longer than what I am used to for a simple touch up. Once it was rinsed and I was back in her chair I knew this was not the right color but I figured maybe it was the lighting. So I went home and even my husband noticed this color was not me and I now had seen it in different lighting and knew it was way too dark and not even close to the same tone I didn't feel myself I felt drab.. so the very next morning I called Danielle first thing and just asked if she could fix my hair that it wasn't right and wasn't what I had asked for in the slightest. She responded with "I will try to fit you in I guess" "I'll call you if I can find time between my clients" I was so thrown back by her response how she could just care less about me after I trusted her with my hair in what she thought would look on me! She didn't listen to what I liked she went on and did "what she liked" (mind you it's been over a week now and no call back from Danielle) So would I recommend this stylist to anyone no will I be going back to her again absolutely not! She's unprofessional not on time and doesn't take into consideration what the client wants or what will make the client happy only does what she want and what she thinks will look good. read more
