After a long tedious drive from Big Bend National Park, it was a joy to walk into an immaculately clean room. Beds are what dreams are made of. Large roomy bathroom with goodish towels. Check in was a breeze. Due to a O'dark 30 flight, we did not have a chance to indulge in the free breakfast. However, with a little scouting around I found coffee "cream", plates, decent utensils. We used Uber Eats to gets some decent chow. I highly recommend this as, nothing within walking distance looks appealing. Shuttle was on time and not fooling around about waiting. We called and asked the hotel if they had 2 adjoining rooms available while on our way to Midland, they confirmed they had ADJOINING rooms available so we booked and paid over the phone. When we arrived less than an hour later they told us they booked us 2 rooms but they did not have adjoining rooms available. We asked for a refund as we specifically requested adjoining rooms during the booking process, the lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE and refused to process a refund, stating they had a 24 hour cancellation policy. This did not go well for any of us. I feel like they intentionally lied during booking to take our money knowing they would not refund it when they were not able to meet our needs. I will admit that I got ugly and tempers flared, she would not allow me to speak with the "Manager on Duty", she told me she did not have a phone number for him. She did finally send him an email and he agreed to refund the money (in 3 business days, I'm still waiting). I am hoping they give the refund as they stated, if not I will spend the money on an attorney. I will never waste my time or money with this hotel. read more

I love this hotel. I have stayed here multiple times and always enjoyed it. The last stay I was upgraded to a suite with a jacuzzi. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious well-decorated rooms. Very nice lobby, good breakfast and coffee. I love coming during Christmas time because of the beautiful tree that they display. I love the jacuzzi/spa and pool. Highly recommend. read more

Looked at several reviews from motels in Midland and I chose the Sleep Inn West. Very clean inside and out. Friendly staff. Has very clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Also has good size breakfast. Pool and hot tub looked nice and clean but it was too chilly for me to try. Also a lot of sites say the pool and hot tub are indoors which they are not but it's really nice. read more

This hotel is truly a hidden gem which exceeds my expectation. As an airline crew member we consistently stay in hotels. As an a crew member it is so nice to come to a hotel that is very welcoming. They have a very nice large crew room right off the lobby with a large dining room table leather couches and a big screen TV. For crew members they have fresh soup,sandwiches that are microwavable Klondike bars an assortment of soft drinks. The complimentary breakfast is always good and the hotel is always clean. The staff is friendly an accommodating. There are many restaurants within walking distance. In addition they have a grocery store which has a barbecue restaurant inside of it. read more

Hellen is horrible. Hellen at the front desk has been rude every time that I've been there. She ruins the stay to the point that I would rather sleep in the truck rather than deal with her. There are so many hotels that are empty and some are going out of business during this current madness. Go to a better hotel that values you and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Hellen needs to be in the unemployment line where we can complain among other miserable unemployable people. The rest of the staff isn't much better as they are ungrateful unhappy kindred spirits Stay anywhere else and stay happy. read more

Best Sleep Inn you will ever find! Staff here are awesome, they do what it takes to make your staff wonderful. Rooms are clean and quiet. For a complementary breakfast it is very nice. They always have snacks, popcorn, ice tea, and lemon aid out 24 hours. Transportation is there to the airport when you need it. Location is near several restaurants and Sams Club and minor league baseball. Area is growing so there is plenty to do. Safe area to take walks or go for a run. If business takes you to Midland this is a must stay. read more

This Sleep Inn is in a developing neighborhood with limited resources, especially if you are on foot. The few completed hotels are like oases amongst framed out apartments and offices. That being said, this hotel is very new and clean. The complimentary breakfast was nice and came in handy. The staff treated us great, whisked us away from the airport promptly and made sure we had snacks (since we arrived after midnight). Slept great and had a happy belly. read more

I stay here about once a month for work. They treat us very well. Friendly front desk and van drivers. Safe neighboorhood, so feel free to walk all around the area. There's even a neat little outdoor walking trail nearby lined with isometric workout equipment. Plenty of good food options within walking distance--lots of good Asian. The HEB is close by as well. The only downside is the area lacks character. It's a bit of a hotel farm. Neighborhoods are cookie cutter mcmansions with pickup truck lined streets, and big oil business office parks. A republican neighborhood wet dream. Lots of soccer mom vans and ball parks, well-behaved kids, happy missionary-position loving couples out and about walking their well behaved dog, but no hipster coffee shops. Enough about the neighborhood. Oh yeah, I was reviewing the hotel. Rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable. That's all I ask for on a layover. They are also very modern, which is a nice touch. It's nice to stay at a hotel where we as a flight crew are appreciated--and they treat us as such. read more

Definitely not your average Sleep Inn ! Very nice and clean and upgraded. Extremely cozy ! They even had a crew lounge with food and cold beers for airline crews! The pool was gorgeous and it lights up different colors at night. The TV is mounted on the wall ! There's a walk in shower thats awesome ! Stayed here 11-19-14. Room was very clean and quiet. Average free breakfast fare but good. Manager's afternoon reception was nice. Polite staff and good service. Can't understand the prices for this hotel and similar hotels in same area. More expensive than what we paid is Disneyworld! read more
