When we arrived less than an hour later they told us they booked us 2 rooms but they did not have adjoining rooms available. We asked for a refund as we specifically requested adjoining rooms during the booking process, the lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE and refused to process a refund, stating they had a 24 hour cancellation policy. This did not go well for any of us. I feel like they intentionally lied during booking to take our money knowing they would not refund it when they were not able to meet our needs. I will admit that I got ugly and tempers flared, she would not allow me to speak with the "Manager on Duty", she told me she did not have a phone number for him. She did finally send him an email and he agreed to refund the money (in 3 business days, I'm still waiting). I am hoping they give the refund as they stated, if not I will spend the money on an attorney. I will never waste my time or money with this hotel.

Then she said we could cancell and not be charged a fee, if we walked. How rude! We had been traveling all day, then went to a wedding rehersal, no way i was going to look for another place. We ended up taking the room she offered. At the end of the stay we were charged For the 1 bedroom king Suite! WTH! Complain to front desk but they had no power and trying to get a manager was near impossible. Ended up filing a complaint with their corporate. This is the short version of the story. I suggest looking for someplace else unless you have no other choice. After this we'll choose Marriott and their subsidaries only as a last resort.

TLDR: Cute room, friendly staff…read more I went to bed late like at 11:30 PM, and after I slept for what I thought was seven hours I decided I should get up and go to breakfast. It was actually just after 1 AM. I didn't sleep at all apparently. And how could I with the loud nightclub next door. I made my way downstairs and I asked if I could switch to a different room. They said yes and they gave me a new room, which was actually on the same side of the hotel. So I went back down to the front desk again and this time they gave me a room that was on the opposite side of the hotel. So if you stay here, be sure to ask for a room on the residential side and not on the bar side. Unless you're into loud music pumping through your window while you're trying to sleep. Also, the blackout shades didn't really work and the light from the nightclub was also coming through the window. That's why I thought it was time to get up. Once I was able to fall asleep, which was after 2 AM, I slept OK. This had more to do with my state of mind and less to do with the room or the bed. The bed was comfortable, but I had a lot on my mind. I got up for breakfast at 7 AM and I was downstairs at 7:15 AM. They had eggs and the thinnest bacon I've ever seen in my life, and when I and another guest went to get pancakes we found that there was no batter in the machine. Also there was nothing in the frozen yogurt machine. The container for the oatmeal was full of boiling water which was spitting at me while I was trying to get oatmeal. It turns out the breakfast matron was distracted and that was because her tires were slashed the night before. Apparently a lot of people on her street got hit as well. Not a good start to the day for her. I wished her a better tomorrow. I would stay here again, but honestly I hope I never have to go to Midland again. More about my state of mind.

When checking in last night I specifically said this card was to purchase the Gatorade she did not ask if I was changing the card on file considering the stay was already booked from the travel agency that my employer uses. She lied several times, was extremely rude, hung up during conversation and threatened to cancel my room today if she didn't receive my business card number which I don't have access to. Sad to know that she's in management and that these things go on within this hotel.

Because of all the urgency, the kind hotel desk clerk didn't hesitate to let me check in early. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and hallway were impressively pretty and sparkling clean. My room was so nice, and it served my needs beautifully. Comfy mattress, plenty of space, with a clean sitting area and kitchenette setup. Loved the two sink areas. The shower was strong with plenty of hot water. Thirsty white towels were plentiful. The breakfast bar really impressed me, with delicious eggs, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit, cereals, bagels... and so much more. Coffee tasted fresh and high quality. Worth every penny, and I'll definitely return when I'm in Midland.

There are plenty of games like jenga, cornhole, basketball, skee ball, the game where you throw a ball to hit the clowns down, a huge slide (see pictures), and more. They also had a DJ playing music while I was there and it looked like they do live music there too based off the stage. You can spend a lot of time here. The drinks were pretty good. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but not too bad. They have quite a few beers on tap if beer is your thing. The service was a lot quicker than I thought it would be considering how busy it was. The three bartenders working at the time were quick and friendly. The bar is also smoke friendly if that's is something that matters to you. They have a very large parking lot. Even though the bar was busy when I visited, there were plenty of parking spots.

The first stay my husband had to track down a board due to the fact our window did not lock. We said ok, maybe it's ok now. The room carpet was so nasty that it ruined many of pairs of socks. They do have construction happening, but a true construction project, you use caution tape or signs to notify. They had done of the sorts saying it was a construction zone proceed with caution. The first stay, I had one of the first desk ladies be rude and laugh in my face because I explained that I had chemo brain and was having trouble understanding. The thing that truly did this stay all in was when the owner had the audacity to infrisge on my husbands right to free speech. The owner literally called and told me to control my husband because he was speaking to the front desk guy. I was appalled. Then kept running his mouth that he was listening to audio that my husband was asking stupid questions. Well my husband was simply asking who they were using as a construction crew. My husband picked up over 13 nails in the parking lot because the construction crew was not doing so. Spoke to the owner about that, which he was rude, saying we knew construction was going on and he was not reliable for nails in tires when actually he would be held liable due to it his property. The hall way and lobby is extremely hot because the owner will not put a new breaker in. It's almost like he is running a sweat shop. Not to mention the mold, all in the restroom. I had front desk staff just walk in the room on me and my son. My husband has photos of a lot more. And I'm willing to post them

My hubby needs sleeping space but even after 36 years we still like to share a bed! The room was cramped with the two beds. Only space for one chair so someone had to sit on the bed. There was no room to walk around or get from the ac unit to the tv without climbing over or moving something. The tv remote had to be switched at the front desk. While the linens were nice and clean the bed was hard. If we would have gotten the bigger bed that I reserved, our experience would have been quite different. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice. Manager sucked.

However, today.... They rated a BIG FAILURE in my book!!!! As we were leaving with all our suitcases, we got to the elevator on the second floor and there was a sign that noted the panel was broken, call the front desk and they will send the elevator up. Well we called.... Called.... And called again! For 10 minutes I was on hold. I ran down the stairs, still calling, to get the elevator myself. As I ran through the lobby..... not a person in sight! I did hear the phone ringing loudly! I got to the elevator, got my kid and the luggage and returned to the lobby. Then I see it.... The front desk worker.... SLEEPING ON THE COUCH WITH HER BLANKET!!!! To say I was upset is an understatement! I took pictures of the sight because it was so unbelievable to me!!!! Then I woke her up!!!! We never even interacted with a single staff member. My key was accessed through the app. That's probably a good thing as our late flight arrival in Midland put us here at around 1AM. Our suite with a king bed and couch with a pull-out bed and kitchenette (room #438) set me back $154.99 for just that one night. This included a $3.87 "parking recapture fee." I parked myself. There was ample parking. What was there to recapture? CONS - Ice machine on level 4 was missing. - spiders/webs in bathroom - Pool was filthy. It's green, brown & black. So disappointed as this was the way we were going to end our trip... with a final dip in a pool, but it was more like a swamp. Yuck! - could hear our neighbors easily with door shut - no soap or shampoo was provided in our bathroom PROS + Well-lit lot at night. + Coffee Bean coffee. + Small tv but good channels. + Nice restaurants within a short driving distance. I will look elsewhere next time.

Not so great, definitely smelled like smoke, but not leaking and seemed clean enough. Next day get a call, telling me check out was at noon why was my stuff still there. Um but I'm checked in until Friday. Turns out this hotels computer system doesn't look at the online reservations. Oh let me fix it. They Go on line change my reservation to Sunday to Sunday. Have to go to the hotel to fix it by waiting literally 20 mins for the desk guy to answer a phone call and check an alarm.. he ran to the room because he was trying to catch the guests smoking. The next day, I get a call at work because my hair dye got on towels. First, I had my do not disturb sign up, second, the towel in question would wash out. Third, pretty sure the maid only came in so she could snoop around my stuff because I know someone moved my stuff around in my luggage. . So I would suggest to never keep anything personal or valuable. Basically unless you have to, stay away from this hotel. I wish I had stayed at the Hilton garden inn next door.

So it's easy access to most areas of Midland/Odessa, but if you're a light sleeper like me you'll need the A/C cranked up to drown out the highway noise. My daughters and I checked in via the app on 6/3/2024 & walked in at about 7PM. Access to the entire hotel is only through the front which I found to be potentially safer. Parking was easy if but a tad tight with all the work trucks. The lone elevator was fairly quick. Our room #321 was clean. Bathroom had some leftover hair of another much darker-haired patron. Our one-night, 2-queen beds with a couch came out to $129.57. Complimentary bagels aren't out & ready until 6AM. We left by 5. Lol. Supposedly they also set out "muffins, yogurt and freshly brewed Folger's coffee." Wi-Fi worked fine. Fast fixer-upper jobs in many places, but overall a very modernized, simple hotel. Was never greeted or asked how we were the few times we saw employees. Guess that's how it is with self-checkins/outs these days. It's an okay area--just a bit secluded from what I wanted.

I never ate the breakfast cause none of that is appealing to me. So we got to our room which was so nice and clean and cool. I immediately took a shower and the water was piping hot along w the blasting pressure which is what I like. My bed and pillows were like sleeping on clouds. A very comfortable bed and the sheets were so silky smooth too! Even though we stayed here less than 24 hours it was a great place to stop to get some rest and shower. I think I paid 89 bucks for it!

It's right across from Torchy's Tacos and next to Starbucks. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars were that the pool was smaller than I expected and there wasn't a hot tub/jacuzzi. Also, because of the hardwood floors, I could hear the guests upstairs walking. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable hotel in a great location, and I'd recommend it and I would stay again.
