Great stay close to the beach. Could use some minor updates to freshen up, but we were mostly happy. The pool needs cleaned more often, but if you get in right after they've done it, it's fantastic. The breakfast is where this hotel really shines - lots of options, including custom-made omelettes that are really delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and beach access is convenient. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here while attending a conference in the area. Sleep Inns are typically one of my preferred hotels of the Choice Hotels brand so I tend to book with them when booking with CH. The advantage of this location is that it's located directly on the beach; access to the beach front is just steps away from your room. The disadvantage of this location is the elevator located down the hall from the front desk. It's really really really slow! Multiple guests were complaining about it and I even chatted with one of the maintenance guys who complained about it as well. Puhhhh-leeeze fix the elevator! Another thing I noticed is that the side door did not require a guest key to enter and it remained unlocked throughout the night. So anyone could walk in and at any time. Beware. For the safety of your guests, please implement a safer entrance requirement to gain access with entering the hotel; especially if it's not through the front doors. Other than the elevator and the unlocked side door(s), the stay was decent for the price and its access to the beach. My room was clean and size was adequate for accompanying 1-2 people. Furnishing was adequate. Majority of the staff that I came in contact with were nice. The front desk did a good job with fulfilling my request to check in early.

Customer Service: 5 stars: checked in 9/22 - 9/23. The desk staff was friendly. Today 9/23 the desk agent this morning was kind enough to send my kids post cards out with their mail. I asked her did they sell feminine care products and she said they offer complimentary ones in the bathroom. Breakfast: 2 stars: breakfast needs some work. 2 types of fiber rich cereals, thats fine if i was traveling with some 80 year olds. But a 9 and 8 year old would like better options than regular cheerios and bran flakes, yikes! The Fresh fruit was cool and the pastries. They offer yogurt, boiled eggs (major gross), and brown and serve fake sausages. My kid is a carnivore and he refused to eat them. The waffle machine and batter is average, same ol bland ass crunchy waffle anywhere a hotel offers this. The coffee and tea station was nice. Hotel room: 3 stars: it was some dings and dangs here and there but we were barely in the room. The room was clean for the most part besides a stray blonde hair on the sink. Do yourself a favor and lysol everything down like i do. Being this is a beach hotel and sand is a pain, bring house shoes or plan on wearing socks in the room. I dont do bare feet in any hotel room, its just icky. The beds were comfortable and our room was facing the walmart plaza on the 4th floor. There are beach front rooms if you want to spend that type of dough. The towels is why im dropping them down 2 stars, they are very linty and made my skin feel itchy like something was crawling on me. Minor stuff but they need to either change their laundry products or lint screen so it can make the towels more comfortable. Cleanliness: 4 stars: overall clean establishment. Perks: they offer you towels for the pool/beach. Publix grocery store is acros the street. Walmart is across the street. Starbucks is walking distance if you don't mind a 10 minute walk. The beach access is easy and great. Lots of eateries in walking distance. Uber eats does deliver to hotel. No fees for daily parking. They have vending machines for both drinks and snacks. The rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. Overall: i would stay there again. Its a value for what you pay for and if you are adventurous like us you will barely be in the room. This could easily be a 4 star experience had the continental breakfast been better.

Bathroom doors would not close correctly.

We haven't been on nice vacation since Covid and just wanted to have a nice getaway. Overall, this hotel was meh. We gave one star for the hotel being on the beach and one star for the free breakfast. On the downside, the room smelled like mildew. The bed and pillows were lumpy. The shower head leaked. Plus check out the pics. Never again!!!

Decently priced hotel. They have a pool that I saw cleaned every morning. Perfect view of the beach with a walkway directly on to the beach. Rooms were really nice with a balcony and a standing shower. I thought beds were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and nice at accommodating our stay. They do offer a decent selection for breakfast. Only downside is I recommend taking stairs over elevators they are very slow. Overall good experience at this hotel!

Loved our stay here during Christmas! A big thank you to Pam who helped us through the booking process and made it so easy to reserve! We had the perfect view and access to the beach. We even saw dolphins swimming on Christmas Day!

Unclean hotel. Huge pink stain on wall in hallway of 5th floor.

The staff were all helpful and friendly. There was someone playing live music at certain times of the day. The room was clean and had a simple but nice setup. The shower had great water temperature and pressure. We had an ocean view room which was worth the extra cost. Waking up to the beach every morning was so satisfying. Reading on the balcony while listening to the ocean sounds and watching the waves was everything that I needed. The hotel has beach towels that are easily checked out through a machine. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available first come first serve to hotel guests which is very convenient. There was a heated outdoor pool, a volleyball net and a few games inside. We ate all of our meals at the hotel. We ate at the grab and go food spot. I ordered the feta and spinach croissant, a chocolate chip scone and a cappuccino. We also ate dinner at the latitude 30. I ordered a ceasar salad and calamari. For breakfast at latitude 30, I ordered the French toast dish that comes bacon and I ordered a side of eggs. We also ate at the fine dining restaurant onsite where I ordered the seared scallops dish and the vanilla crème brûlée. All of the meals that we ate at the hotel were very tasty. The restaurant staff were all kind and the utensils were spotless. I believe food may have also been served at the bar near the pool, but I didn't try any food from there during my visit. I really had an enjoyable time at this hotel and I plan to return in the future.

The pool and jacuzzi are right on the sand, which makes it extra relaxing. The staff is super helpful and we have to give a shoutout to Noah Vegas for the customer service he provided. The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is due to the food. They only offer a lackluster breakfast buffet and during the day undercooked pizza. We wanted to arrive a couple of days before checking into our condo, so we booked a two-night stay here, and we're glad we did. The hotel is on the smaller side, but that's actually part of its charm. It's centrally located in Orange Beach, making it easy to get to restaurants, attractions, and shopping. The beach access is unbeatable, and the views from the dining area are absolutely beautiful. There is a pool, but it's fairly small. Since the entire property is smaller than many beachfront resorts, you won't have a ton of privacy around the pool. On the plus side, it never felt overcrowded, which made for a relaxing stay. One thing I definitely recommend is eating breakfast here. It was excellent and a great way to start the day. They also serve pizza in the evenings. It's a thick, almost Chicago-style pizza, so just know what you're ordering. The flavor was fantastic, and one pizza was easily enough to feed our family. Our room was a huge hit with the kids. It included bunk beds, which they were so excited about, along with an Xbox, a desk, and a large flat-screen TV. It really felt like the hotel had families in mind. The lobby gift shop was also surprisingly well stocked with snacks, drinks, toiletries, and even common medicines you might need during your stay. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay if you're looking for an extra night or two in Orange Beach before or after your main vacation. I'd gladly stay here again. My only suggestion for the hotel: since you're serving that delicious, hearty pizza, it might be worth stocking a few antacids or Tums in the gift shop too! 10/10--highly recommended!

There's a pool and Barr at the pool that serves yummy cocktails that you can take up to your room. It was a very enjoyable experience. While the hotel is taking precautions for COVID, the guests aren't trying to follow the mask policy which sucks. There are signs posted everywhere about the policy but it isn't enforced.
