Immediately contacted customer service and was told they have a policy that a missing part has to go through parts reorder which might take months (plural). In the meantime time they have the item in stock but refuse to pull the part or exchange the furniture. I would be vey embarrassed to have to work in their customer service or sales department. In the meantime, we have to stack our electronic equipment risking overheating or damage. Insane that I have to escalate this issue over a $400 purchase. It's been a week and 4 calls. So now I wait to see if I hear back from the "manager." This isn't a complicated problem to solve. The employees and customers deserve better.
