I went there 8 months ago and after three times there never came back. The people in the front were rude and didn't care my tech was nice but having trouble with my mask and no one cared. I went and picked up new mask and was billed and paid, then several months later another bill came for the same service. I called and had to leave a message because no one will help you. Get in line and wait. The 6 months later I get the same bill again' I left a shot message how the need to get it together. They have 20 + working there and they all suck. I was on vacation in Portland and forgot part the mask and headgear for my CPAP. I was able to obtain a prescription from my doc at home and I printed that out. I stopped by unannounced and the ladies at the front counter were accommodating, caring, and prompt. I was able to leave with a discounted version of what I needed. read more

The staff was nice and the fitting for my CPAP machine was great. They call me constantly to offer to sell me more tubing and supplies, even though I've never ordered through them. They use a billing service called CareCentrix. So when I called Sleep Technologies to ask why they had billed me without ever bothering to bill my insurance first, they didn't know. They gave me the customer service number for CareCentrix, which way east of here and always closed when I call. My HSA folks is telling me I shouldn't have used my health savings account to pay for the cost of my CPAP machine. I'll have to pay it back unless I can prove that they did submit the claim to my insurance so it would go toward my deductible. I can't get CareCentrix to submit the claim so I can clear the charge. This has been months of back and forth to figure out what happened. I don't know why they trust their billing to company that offers ZERO customer service. This place was fine for getting my CPAP machine, but DO NOT TRY TO REORDER SUPPLIES FROM THEM. There's no human contact after you get your machine. Charges are ridiculous and you can get the same stuff via Amazon for a lot less money and hassle. PLUS, if your check is 5 minutes late they send vultures to stalk you. Ah, now there's a human! And they expect you to give out your DOB and other personal information to a stranger on the phone. They must be doing horribly financially to be this aggressive with billing. The RRT who helped me was surly, argumentative and unfriendly. She never even introduced herself on either of the occasions I've been to the office recently, so I don't even know her name. The receptionist is friendly and as helpful as the rules allow her to be. I miss the customer service I received there when I first started using this company. Andrea was the best! I never had to worry about my supplies arriving on time, as soon as I was eligible to receive them. Sleep Technologies has outsourced this service to a company back east, and it took them 5 months to even send me a single supply. If my insurance didn't dictate that I use this company, I'd go back to paying for everything off Amazon, which I did for the entire year after Andrea left and no one bothered to contact me for new supplies or to explain how the company had changed. My experience dealing with Sleep Technologies has been wonderful. Even though I had doctor and insurance issues to get through, they were very accommodating to scheduling appointments when it was convenient for me and they were very helpful with getting me set up with the right equipment for me. I called Sleep Technologies for a pricing for my supplies. They called me back the next day with my price, $20.43. I ordered based on that price. I received the supplies with an packing slip which said customer's copay was $20.43. I paid on line. A week later I received a bill for over $102.00. They said it was part of my deductible for Medicare. I wasn't on Medicare yet. I was on another insurance. Then they said it was taken from my deductible from that insurance. When I asked for a pricing they had access to my insurance information. They would have been able to tell me at that time of the $102.00. They won't budge. It doesn't matter what they told me. This review is for Sleep Technologies, LTD. Phone number 503-496-5239. I have been buying my supplies from this company for sometimes now and I strongly NOT Recommend this company to anyone. Before the Covid-19 hit the United States hard, this company was doing Okay (Just Okay). Their customer services were adequate and they ship supplies to the customer in timely manner. I don't know when did this company outsources its customer services department but I notice changes in the company services since the begin of the pandemic (Covid-19). The company customer services goes from Just Okay to Poor. There were times when I am on the phone with the customer service representative I can here chickens croaking on the other end. I hear sounds of motorcycles zipping by and loud car honking. I have learned from some of the representatives, they were from the Philippine. Like others review for this company, these representatives are not Well Train. Some representative will say anything to get you to place an order. For anyone who's still purchasing from this company, be careful whenever placing an order with the company. Document the name of the representative and what they say to you at the time of purchase. When you see a Hefty large bill, call your health insurance and find out why is the bill too high. Take times and do your research about the bill this company sending to you. Only heard back from them once and that's after leaving multiple messages. Left 3 more messages last week but haven't heard back from them. How are these idiots still in business? If you are going to use Sleep Technologies as your CPAP supplier, I would highly recommend Sami (Beaverton office) as your technician. She is a delight and very knowledgeable, she has a wonderful personality, her explanations are short clear and concise. She lays out the different options (I was considering a mask change) so that you feel comfortable making a choice. My first reorder of supplies was done on time and without any problems. I agree with Tia. This place is the pits. For whatever reason, I was referred to them for a CPAP. Nice people, for the most part, but disorganized (!). Their billing is obscure and when I try to call them I can never get a warm body, only a machine. They do not return calls, so save your breath. If possible, I will go on line, bypass them altogether, and get another machine. That is my next move, after I find out what my current situation is and whether I am obligated under a contract that I signed earlier, thinking I was working with professionals. read more

This outfit is totally irresponsible in their billing. Four years ago was the last time I had used their services. I needed an emergency machine for about two days. My husband went in to get it after jumping through the necessary hoops with my doctor. When he arrived at Sleep Techno.. the owner 'Gary' billed him over 600.00 saying it was owed over four years ago. .. and we had NEVER been invoiced for this amount. No letters, no phone calls no collection agency contact in four years! My husband had no choice but to pay, however we did go back in to talk to the 'billing department" after requesting a true invoice of why we owed over six hundred dollars. To add insult to injury we just received a letter from a collection dept that Sleep tech sent them the bill 'AFTER" we paid it to a collection agency. We are getting a lawyer and filing charges! They are in a medical field dealing with sick people and insurance companies and they have no ethics! read more

The service I experienced at this location was very poor. There appears to be no live person to answer the phones. It takes days to get a return call after you leave a message. Emails are not answered or only very late. The web site is not very intuitive to use. I don't understand why my sleep specialist at Oregon Clinic referred me to them to get the cpap they prescribed. My technician was nice & knew her stuff, but was difficult to contact. She didn't always return my calls or my emails. How does this outfit stay in business? They seem totally unaccountable & have been short handed since I started dealing with them a couple of years ago. Avoid this company or maybe just this branch, I don't know because this is the only one I used. I'm glad I moved away & will be dealing with another company in California which I WILL CHECK OUT before I start doing business with them! I hope this review spurs customers to check out some alternative providers. read more
