First off I have been using yelp for years but never had an account until tonight. I used grub hub to place an order. That was a mistake. I arrived to pick up my order after placing it 40 mins before. That's fine I am patient, but than the employee said "we didn't confirm your order" and if I wanted to wait 15 minutes for the order I politely said no and he responded "it wasn't our fault" after telling me they did not confirm the order through grub hub. Sorry Bacci, my last order was last week. I understand the order I made was put into the computer wrong, and no one noticed it until I came to pick it up and said something. It wasn't the gross shrimp and spinach pizza you gave me for waiting 15 minutes while the spinach and mushroom I ordered was cooking. It wasn't the fact that your deep dish is really just thick crust pizza. It was, after all this trouble, that you didn't put the garlic crust on that I ordered and paid for. If you are hungry and broke, your at the right place. They cut a 26" pie in 8 slices. And for your pocket change you also get a pop. On the 1 to 10 scale it's about dead center. I haven't had good experiences ordering from this place. First off, they WAY overload the sauce. Seriously, you can't take a bite without sauce squirting all over your face every time. So, I called asking to please use an average amount of sauce that you would get from most pizza joints (even the girl that answered the phone said "Yeah, I don't understand why they use so much sauce"). The pizza comes and it has almost no sauce on it and tastes horrible. Obviously, they can't understand having a medium between way overloading the sauce and putting nothing on there. Omg !! I almost died here ! I ordered my slice and a pop for myself and my wife . And we sat down . As we started to eat I started to choke on some ingredients. I kept coughing so bad and very loud my wife came to my aid and costumers where more concern than the staff here ! Some of the staff where on the floor just looked and turned around as they cleaned the floor with no concern what's so ever ! After 10 minutes I was better ! Ordered an 18" and a slice. $40 total plus tip, ok not a big deal. I could easily get over the price if the pizzas ok. Considering I usually spend $30 at Waldo Cooney's with just about twice as much food including extra cheese. When you could see right through the cheese and ingredients to the paper thin bread, it's never a good sign. On the other hand my wife had a pepperoni slice which was almost almost an inch thick (all bread by the way and as hard as a rock). The saying "Quality not Quantity" would be disgraced at seeing this place. The quality has gone down big time. The pizza slices weren't that good we struggled to finish even half of the slice. It tasted similar to little Caesars, a fast cheap restaurant style taste. I do miss baccis original slices and the free pop that use to come with the slice. Not worth the money I would rather order a pizza and pick up from piasans which is near by. read more

I can't believe it took me this long to write a review of Bacci! I'm only giving four stars because the Jumbo Slice (and soda) isn't great pizza, and the cheese only borders on not good pizza. But that's what my kids love - cheese only. Recently, I've been getting the special pizzas (Saturdays only??) or sausage. They are MUCH better - maybe it's because they have more sauce? I like pizza with a lot of sauce. The other menu items that I've tried have all been good. Lately I tried the fried calamari. At $8 it's not a great bargain, but for the amount you get it's in line. The calamari was the way I like it, with a bit of a chew to it. The breading was nice - not as heavy as some others. Nice local joint. read more

After an hour I called and the man said that the delivery guy had showed up and no one answered the door, how is that possible if we were by the front door the whole time, and why didnt they call to let me know they were outside or even knock on the door, the doorbell works just fine. Slice Factory in Berwyn is my favorite spot in my surrounding area. The food is always is hot and fresh out of the kitchen. Ordering online is always a breeze when carry out or for delivery. I've always enjoyed Nonno's pizza a bit more but if I am starving I will head to Bacci's. I've always found the pizza to be a bit greasy and not as flavorfull as Nonno's or some of the other choices within driving range. I give Bacci's 3 stars because where it falls short it succeeds in being one of my favorite pig out spots. I haven't been there in a few weeks but last time I was it was $5 or $5.50 for a jumbo slice and pop. Sit down and eat that giant slice and I am full. read more

I had a problem with this place about a year ago when I came in to order to go. It took 50 minutes till I got my pizza in my hands. So I told my wife I'm not going there anymore. But once awhile our 2 kids want some pizzas so wife just goes there to get some. It's on her way heading home from work anyway. And 2 days ago she brought home 2 big slices, we hardly finished half of each slice because they were too salty. The other halves are still in refrigerator and no one wants to touch them. Ordered ravs in broth, loaded fries and chix tenders . The chicken tenders you could get anywhere . Nothing special . The ravs in broth were swimming in a see of spinach that made the broth taste like old vegetable water with a layer of grease . The fries didn't have the bacon. They did send new fries but when I received them they were upside down and the plastic lid had melted into the cheese so I didn't get to eat them. Don't waste your money ! I had a second order from slice factory and again was very pleased with my meal my wife enjoyed her salad and cheese sticks She loved her ravioli to and all her dips and salad dressing. You use real blue cheese melts in your mouth. Bacci's pizza is actually really good....but I ordered online and instead of the hour it was suppose to take it was an hour and 20 mins...something about the time they had was different...but my e-mail didn't say what they said whatever....they put sausage instead of mushrooms....i also ordered a hamburger and got a cheeseburger and a bacon cheeseburger but for some reason it came without bacon....but the biggest thing that bothered and made me decide not to order there is I was given a 1 liter rc that was already opened and it seemed somebody had drank a little of it...so as much as I love their pizza I won't be ordering from there anymore.... read more

The one best thing about this place: the pizza. When I was first introduced to this place my junior year of high school (2001), I was hooked. The slice of pizza with drink deal is worth it. This was practically the biggest hangout for local high schoolers. Anyone who was anyone knew where to get a good slice. Also, there were times the family and I would order boxes of pizza and They were just as good as the slices.I lived in Lyons when I first started eating here. Then I moved in 2007. I kept wondering where I can find another Bacci's near me. Thankfully there was one location in McHenry, IL. But, it closed down. It's now another pizza joint. Now the only times I have a chance to go to Bacci's is either when I happen to be visiting Berwyn or after I watch a Cubs game in Wrigleyville. Trust me, whenever someone talks about pizza, I mention this place because of the deals. Again, I miss this place a lot.
