Came for the hockey and stayed for the pizza! Slice Theory has an interesting math formula theme that matches well with hockey. They offer most of their pizzas in slices and they heat it up just right. They have their own entrance separate from the rink (in addition to the rink entrance). Fire pizza! If Dave Portnoy came to Ashburn I'd bet they'd score in the 8's with him. No flop whatsoever,quality ingredients, amazing service for being in an ice rink. I met the owner but I'm terrible with remembering names but he said they cook the wings and fries in beef tallow and that they brine there wings beforehand. Definetly gonna have to go back and try those wings. Hands down best pizza in all of Ashburn and definetly in the top three in the DMV. So glad I found them because I will return. 10/10 for the slice of cheese. Highly recommend everyone to give them a try and killer thing is they have a good bar with solid drinks too. read more

This place is outstanding - criat is chewy and just a touch charred, perfect... Great sauce, high-quality toppings, cooked right... They even have vegan cheese, which was fantastic, you can see that on the tomato topping pizza here. Best in Ashburn read more

I ordered this via Uber Eats so I cannot comment on the ambiance of this place. I opted for the delivery option. For the first pie, I did half big bang (meat lover) and half quantum. For the second I got a cheese (hypothesis minus oregano). The pizza crust and consistency was good. It was a little burnt/charred so you could taste that a bit. My kids weren't a fan of the crust so they didn't eat much. Another difficult thing about ordering their pizza are the names. It was a bit hard to order this online because it didn't have descriptions. I can't say I would recommend them but that's based off of one experience. I may try again at another time. read more

This isn't going to be popular. I really wanted to love the pizza but one pizza was burnt. The other was borderline burnt. The pizza was also tough. There was some good. Delivery was FAST. Flavor was good. Options plentiful. Overall a disappointing experience. Will I give it a try again? Likely not, we have many other choices. read more

I think the coolest part was it was connected to a ice-skating rink so when you go to kids practice or they're having a game, you can stop there and get something to me which is very good service. What's good nothing is wrong with this service now I got the buffalo chicken pizza. I believe that's what it's called. The only problem I had with that was more onions on it than chicken. It really tastes like I was eating a onion pizza meat. I don't need that mini onions so I didn't work out that well for me the other half and love those. read more

Slice Theory just replaced Rai's as the restaurant within the Ashburn Ice House. First, service is five stars- super friendly and accommodating, brought the food to the table for everyone, just really refreshing lately. The place still looks like Rai's inside, I assume at some point they may change the decor, but the location is great for skaters needing a bite to eat. The pizza is OK- the crust was slightly brunt, the sauce was a little too sweet. The toppings were good though, as was the pretty good selection of pizza slices available. There is room for improvement, but they literally just opened and I'm sure we will be going back. read more

I walked in and immediately received what I would rank as a Top 5 compliment in life -- the gentleman behind the counter thought I was Joe Rogan. To be fair... the sun was in his eyes and he was squinting... but still. Top 5 compliment. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sub (yes... with no cheese). The $21 price tag did catch me off guard a bit, but when I got home and opened it -- it was honestly impressive. It was generously packed. Restaurant is connected to ice skating rink. Its a nice size with a bar. I only ordered the homemade chips as I wasnt very hungry and was heading home shortly. I only had to wait long enough for him to place in bag. They were well seasoned and very crispy. These are the second best chips Ive had since being the area. The best are from Morton's. We're both former New Yorkers so we're very picky about pizza and we were super impressed with this pie! The cheese, the sauce, the crust, everything was dynamite. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. If I have to be nitpicky, the music was a little loud, but that's my only complaint.
