Pizza of the month and Garlic Knots
    Maggie W.

Came here after eating first dinner, but the pizza looked so appetizing I had to have second dinner. My friend and I split some garlic knots and a slice of the pizza of the month. As pictured, the slices here are huge! The pizza of the month had sausage, some kind of veggie (spinach?), with I think also onion and white sauce -- I couldn't see a description. The sausage had fennel seeds in it that added a wonderful fragrance. The white sauce was really good as well. The garlic knots are warm, buttery, and filled with garlic and go really well with the tomato sauce that it comes with. Limited amount of seating on the first floor but there's also bar seating upstairs as well. Worth the calories/feeling uncomfortably full? Yes.

10/10 would recommend the staff was awesome, especially the bartender upstairs. Super friendly guy - will chat with you like you've been friends for years! Great happy hour options! And personally love the concept of a single slice pizza so you don't have to worry about leftovers if you're out running around. Neat little shop, the upstairs overlooks part of the city with was kinda cool! Fun menu options - I got the cheeseburger slice DELICIOUS! And the chicken bacon ranch was a slam dunk also!

We stopped here for a quick bite before a concert down the street and were very pleased with the food! They have 2 floors, the first floor is a to-go station and the second floor is sit down with a waitress and full bar. The pizzas are pre-made, my freind has a dairy sensitivity and wanted light cheese but they unfortunately don't offer that because they are pre-made. There are no dairy free options but she still loved her pizza. The single slices are huge but we were very hungry so we got 2 slices each, we ate most of it all. They have so many unique pairings and the food was made quickly. Overall we enjoyed our food, it was delicious and a great spot! Definitely recommend coming here, hopefully they will add more dairy free options in the future.

It's a good sign that they sell pizzas by the slice. My husband is from NY and is a NY pizza purist - Sliceworks is one of the few places in Denver he likes. They have a ton of options - lots are vegetarian friendly. Crust is the good crispy, thin crust and the ratios of sauce-cheese-toppings are great. As you can tell from the photos the slices are big, so at $4-$6 each it's a pretty solid deal. We got the buffalo chicken slice and grandma slice. The grandma slice is more saucy, which I was a big fan of. The service was fast and it was easy to get in and out with our to-go order. They offer a happy hour too!

Our favorite downtown pizza spot! You can never go wrong with their buffalo chicken, but if that's not your style they have many options to choose from. Staff is always friendly and service is always fast!

They're kinda jerks in here. They won't let you sit upstairs. I don't know what's going on with this building and why they're competing with their own upstairs, but even after we bought and paid for you food they watched us and yelled at us when we were going to go upstairs. It was just super rude. Forget about the pizza, how about don't treat customer like crap!

I've always wanted to visit the mile high city. The altitude concerned me because I usually have tendencies to dry out easily on sea level. Dr. Joe Dispenza was having an advanced follow up retreat in Colorado so here's my chance to face the unknown After arrival I felt very thirsty. I walked up a flight of stairs and got lightheaded. I just played into the moment as if I was meditating to the mystical, and by the next day I was fine. I think I drank a bottle of water an hour the first night Here's the real reason for the review: Slice works has delicious tasting Pizza Gratitude and the Love for others The city is less busy and much more calm than any other big cities I've visited. I did easily observe a homeless challenge; each one trying to find shelter in an out of the way area. I did notice when I got off the bus at the end about 15 people on the corner in makeshift spaces to lay down on for the night, some blankets some none. I felt a strong need to get them something to eat. I called around about a dozen places to see if anyone could help me out and deliver Pizza or a sandwich and water for 30ppl Under $150. Ross at Pizza Works on Colfax in Capitol Hill helped me make it happen. He even helped me hand them out. I am very grateful, Ross and his crew on Colfax are an outstanding group of people. Very nice, respectful and willing to help out for a good cause. The pizza is really delicious and so many to choices to choose from! Please patronage this place and tell him Karen said Hi and you too can pay for a meal for the local homeless. Most of these people don't even know when their next meal will be. The pizza arrived warm and tasted good. The crust was soft and not too thick. It would be even better with more toppings.

Actually, this spot is centrally located, on the edge of Uptown and Five Points, right between City Park and the Central Business District. There's also a nice parking lot. I ordered the Supreme with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and kalamata olives. I found it very average. I collected it promptly at the time specified, but the crust was very soggy and too droopy to pick up a slice. The toppings were OK, but nothing special. The amount of tomato sauce was a little light for my taste and it was very bland. The same with the cheese. I had heard good things about this place, but there is far superior pizza to be had in Denver these days. I was not impressed. The area is not well-lighted and it's kind of creepy at night. So is the building. The staff was friendly and they did bring me my takeout box promptly.

Went here for a friends birthday so we made a reservation. It wasn't that busy when we arrived but it is a small space so never hurts to reserve a table. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions about portion sizes and what ingredients were in each item. We ordered the garlic bread and salad to share and I got the Cacio e Pepe full size. I didn't eat the salad but my friends really liked it! The garlic bread was AMAZING! Definitely the talk of the night! It's only three slices and it was a little pricy but seemed worth it. The full-size Cacio e Pepe was creamy and delicious! I didn't finish it all intentionally because I wanted to take the rest for lunch tomorrow. I would definitely suggest this one to anyone! At the bottom of the menu, it does say that a 20% service fee is added onto everyone's bill and that this is not a tip. I think it's important to point this out because some people might misinterpret it so definitely take that as you will. They said they only have 10 pans for pasta and they had 41 orders...at that point we just wanted to leave plus the lightest pasta was going to be served last. On top of that, the waiter while I was talking took my drink that was 40% full and I was saving it to go with my meal as I wasn't going to order a second cocktail. That was annoying and felt deliberate to try to get us to order more drinks while we waited.
