Parking was easy (around $6) and all of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly! The park is pretty small, but easy to navigate and pretty clean. There's about 5 rides, a playground, and a splash zone. We did all the rides and some time in the playground, which took around 2ish hours. They also do free shows with Peppa that were fun and covered from the heat! I took one star off due to the price. The ticket was expensive ($30ish) for such a small park and the food/drinks were expensive too. Luckily, you can bring your own food and drinks, which is what we did!

While I get the short staffing issue, when we asked why the area was still closed and when to expect it to be running, the 3 workers standing at the splash pad entrance were really rude and would tell us anything useful. You definitely can't come here low-energy because you'll be moving the entire time. I booked online and chose the 90-minute option, which was $39 per person. It might seem a little pricey at first, but it actually works out well because of how the timing is structured. You rotate through rooms and sometimes wait briefly for a game to finish, so everything feels organized and not chaotic. The setup is very efficient. You get a wristband that you scan to enter games, track your points, and even create a username. There's a leaderboard screen, which the kids loved, and you can earn points toward small prizes. The whole place felt clean, well-run, and supervised without being overbearing. The floors are cushioned, which helps since you're constantly moving, and it does get a little warm just because you're so active. From what I could tell, the party setup is more of a do-it-yourself style where you have a room for a set time rather than a fully hosted experience. Also, it seems per the website you would have like food delivered. There didn't appear to be a place where you could buy water. However, we did see water fountains near the restrooms. Best dang water park with the most incredible management and lifeguard team. Truly something to be valued in this day and age. As we were in the lazy river, right as we came around the corner, a lifeguard jumped in and pulled out what appeared to be a dead 2 year old baby. It turned out to be a dummy and it was just a drill, but I had no idea and it sent me into the depths of my PTSD. The way that dummy flopped around in her arms was painfully and terrifyingly familiar. I think I let out a scream or said NOOOOOOOOOOOO... A very nice gentleman that had witnessed the same thing earlier in the day yelled, "It's just a dummy. It was a test." To say I was traumatized is an understatement, but I have to tell you how sincerely impressed I was with their genuine care and concern. I immediately went up to the coordinator shaking and said that my son had drowned and we nearly lost him and that seeing that was hard. I didn't complain because I appreciate they are training for real life situations. I just had to say... something. The young lady was so kind and concerned. (She shared with me there was a sign I must have missed at the front that said they were performing drills.) A little bit later, the manager and his team found me in the park, so they could apologize. Just wow! He offered the most sincere words and begged if he could do anything to make me feel better. Of course I kindly declined but was so incredibly grateful for his and her kindness. I was overwhelmed by their authentic concern for me. Truly heart warming. I was such a mess, I didn't even get their names, so THANK YOU, kind strangers. We will be back every chance we can.

They check your bags/cooler and scan your tickets, then let you go about your day. My friend and I split the cost of a shaded Splash Picnic spot just to make sure our older kiddos had a landing base to re-up on snacks and drinks. Our name was printed on the reserved spot making it officially ours! It is SUPER cool they allowed our own cooler with ice packs, although it would've been a tiny bit more amazing to sip on a girlie marg. I sent my friend on a scavenger hunt to see if they sell any type of alcohol of any kind and turned up empty, just as a heads up to others who may wonder too. While I mostly stayed in the toddler swimming hole and kiddie water slides, and shuffled over to try out the wave pool, my oldest told me about the Lazy River on the other side. She also told me about her "losing her soul" on the dropout slide ha! She had fun, but it took her breath away for sure. Bathrooms are air conditioned. Parking was ample, shade was more plentiful than Hawaiian Falls, and you can reserve seats online if you don't want to risk not having a spot. Overall, a fun family-friendly space to have a good time outdoors!

For the fries the wings had oil drenched all over them and really small mostly skin on them

They had this young lady who called herself a cowgirl and lead the group on a sing-along and we truly enjoyed it. The first class seats are actually more comfortable that the economy seats, and my wife and I and two other ladies were the only ones on the first class car. Would I go again.....can't say that I won't and can't say that I well. The young man working our area, Nick was a really nice young man, and was very knowledgeable when it came to trains. My wife had a snack on the train which consisted of, a candy bar, small bag of chips, and two soda pops total $7.00 and of course the picture was to commemorate the trip was $15.00 and they take case only for the picture. One of our favorite parts was the character shows, they were such a fun touch and our kids absolutely loved getting to see the characters throughout the day. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants, so we can't comment on the food. The only downside for us was the outdoor pool closing at 6:00 PM. During the summer, the sun is still out until around 8:30 PM, so it felt like we missed out on enjoying that area. We also noticed that the double tubes for the outdoor slides were often being held by teenagers who would stay on them and immediately get back in line instead of returning them for the next guests. Since younger kids need the double tubes to ride with an adult, it would be nice if staff monitored this a little more closely to keep things fair for everyone. The lifeguards in the pools were very attentive and were doing a great jobs. The house keeping staff did a great job and were great with accommodating with what we needed. A broom in the room would have been helpful as little kids make a lot of mess with snacks, but I know a typical hotel doesn't provide that. I seen a lot of comments about others being surprised about paying to park.. just do your research, I didn't see an issue with it. Checking in does move slow if you are not using a kiosk. I used the kiosk but ended up needing assistance for other things so I had to wait in the line and it did not move fast at all. Again, not a big deal. Overall, we had an excellent experience and will definitely be back. We'd happily recommend Great Wolf Lodge to other families looking for a fun getaway! I'm really unsure why I read so many negative reviews, I was concerned before our trip but I'm glad we went through with our booking.
