2026 Yelp 100 Challenge - #3 Visited New Years Eve and I was surprised at how busy it was. There is loading and unloading lanes in the front, but you are unable to leave cars unattended. Parking was $19 per day just to park in the lot. Waterpark is open from 10 am - 8pm Magic Quest is open til 11pm With several other fun options located on the first floor. Downloading their app allows you to get updates on upcoming events but not much else. Communication was provided via text and there are attendants on each floor willing to answer any question you may have. Our room was clean and there were plenty of towels available. The waterpark was fun with a spacious kids area and a giant dump bucket. Lastly the restaurant on the 3rd floor had delicious food and friendly service. My family and I had a great visit and look forward to returning soon. read more

This was our first and likely our last visit to Great Wolf Lodge. For the amount of money you spend on a stay, the overall experience just didn't feel worth it. The room we stayed in looked outdated, and we had toilet flushing issues right from the first use, which wasn't a great start. The water park itself was enjoyable, and we didn't have any issues there. I do want to give credit to the lifeguard staff... they were very attentive and clearly doing a great job keeping an eye on the kids, which we really appreciated. We ate dinner at Fireside Restaurant and had a good experience there. One tip: don't rely too much on the app waitlist as it showed limited availability, but when we checked with the host in person, we were seated right away with no wait. Breakfast at Timbers Table & Kitchen, however, was a complete letdown. I didn't expect to pay $78 for a buffet breakfast for two adults and two kids, especially when the food wasn't good. The donuts tasted like they had been refrigerated overnight and were barely edible, and even the self-toasted bagels were stale... no amount of toasting helped. Normally, we go to the Kalahari Hotel in Round Rock. However, this weekend we decided to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge because to avoid the 3 hours drive. Pros: 45 minutes drive. People are friendly. Clean. Cons: Over priced on everything. Paid parking $25 The rooms aren't cosy at all. Cement floors. No carpet. Very small windows. The breakfast was the most disappointing part. It is not even close to the Kalahari's, yet they charge more than the Kalahari. Embassy Suites hotel serve the same exact buffet but for free and the room rate is $300. This hotel charges $25 per person for the breakfast and the room rate $445. I think Kalahari is worth the drive. read more

Where do I begin, I chose great wolf lodge for a 7 day stay meanwhile my home was undergoing a renovation. (Should've stayed at the Gaylord) My insurance paid for the stay. The check in was a nightmare. Spent most of my day at the check in area because every time my insurance sent the payment the hotel somehow always need more money based on room rates. Second night in my room for roaches. Massive ones they offered to spray the room, I said absolutely not. I have a 7 month old baby and 2 kids under 6yo. Spraying would not resolve the issue as the back sliding door has a massive gap. Then they moved rooms and you could hear the next room over ppl were loud and fighting and then the tv was super loud to cover up the fighting. All of this was brought up to the staff. Insurance paid for our meals package and front desk failed to mention that gratuity is included when dining for breakfast. Everytime I had breakfast the waiters would have me sign and fill in gratuity and so I did. Until I realized after reading the fine print that gratuity was included. So I was tipping 2x, so I went to front desk to fix the problem. Fast forward 2 weeks after my stay, great wolf charged me $1800x2 on 2 separate days. No receipt, no warning. I called and they refunded one and said the second would be refunded in about 3-5 days. Well that didn't happen. And they opened up a case. I received an email saying it was for the meals packages that my insurance already paid for. And sent me a receipt for it. This was all after the fact. So once again I had to do all of the work and ask for a damn receipt. I have invoices showing zero balance from after my stay that my insurance paid for including the meals packages and this company is trying to charge me for it. So frustrating and will not ever be returning. read more

We came to Great Wolf Lodge on a whim as we were sitting around, wondering what to do after the holidays. We scored a good deal on a room and purchased the pup pass before arriving. Parking was easy found a spot pretty quickly and our room was ready when we got there. We did have to wait in the long check in line because your account with Great Wolf Lodge has to match the credit card holder's name otherwise you can just use one of the kiosks. They have activities that are free in the lobby such as story time, dance parties as well as bingo. The main thing that we spent our day doing was having fun in the waterpark. We went downstairs in the food court area to grab a bite to eat. You can conveniently order in their app so that way your order is in and minimizes the wait. There are a lot of people down there wanting to eat! Magiquest is fun so bring your wands and if you don't have one that are available for purchase. Room was cozy and comfortable. Yes this place gets busy but it is part of the fun! We would definitely come back for another family getaway! read more

We had a great stay at Great Wolf Lodge! The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and our room was clean and well-maintained. One of our favorite parts was the character shows, they were such a fun touch and our kids absolutely loved getting to see the characters throughout the day. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants, so we can't comment on the food. The only downside for us was the outdoor pool closing at 6:00 PM. During the summer, the sun is still out until around 8:30 PM, so it felt like we missed out on enjoying that area. We also noticed that the double tubes for the outdoor slides were often being held by teenagers who would stay on them and immediately get back in line instead of returning them for the next guests. Since younger kids need the double tubes to ride with an adult, it would be nice if staff monitored this a little more closely to keep things fair for everyone. The lifeguards in the pools were very attentive and were doing a great jobs. The house keeping staff did a great job and were great with accommodating with what we needed. A broom in the room would have been helpful as little kids make a lot of mess with snacks, but I know a typical hotel doesn't provide that. I seen a lot of comments about others being surprised about paying to park.. just do your research, I didn't see an issue with it. Checking in does move slow if you are not using a kiosk. I used the kiosk but ended up needing assistance for other things so I had to wait in the line and it did not move fast at all. Again, not a big deal. Overall, we had an excellent experience and will definitely be back. We'd happily recommend Great Wolf Lodge to other families looking for a fun getaway! I thoroughly enjoyed this family trip to GWL! We had never been before, and just wanted to play at the waterpark. But since they were running a special room price, we decided to stay a night in the Wolf Den Suite! Checking into the Lodge was super easy, just scan the QR code from your email and your wristbands get printed out! The wristbands are your key to your room and can be used to pay for most everything if you chose to have a card added to a designated wristband. We bought the breakfast package beforehand and no other special packages because I knew my kids would just want to spend their time in the water this time around. However, I told them if we want to add the MagiQuest wands next time we could, it looked like a lot of fun. But honestly, I think they would be perfectly fine just splashing and sliding. Overall, I had a great first visit with my daughter and family. I really appreciated the whole design - architecture, room style, activities, and decorations - was catered to kids and families. My daughter loved the best the indoor water park, and the different stores and arcade on the lower level. Surprisingly, the indoor water park was much bigger than I thought it would be. And, as crowded as it was, we were thankfully able to find open seats for our party while my daughter and her dad enjoyed the water. Our actual room was very spacious and more than enough room for the three of us for our night stay. My daughter loved the bunk bed style beds for the kids, and was climbing up and down them as much as she could. I am not sure if I'll be back til my daughter is older to enjoy more, but I am glad she got to experience it and for us to have a nice staycation. read more

I've been coming here since my now 23 year-old was just 10. It's always been a fun, family-friendly place and I was excited to see the recent renovations. They were definitely needed and it looks great! That said, I have to share a serious concern about our current stay. The sixth floor, where we're staying, has been overwhelmed with the smell of marijuana. If this were an adults only resort, that might be one thing, but this is a family establishment, and it's completely unacceptable. We don't live that lifestyle, and we certainly don't expose our children to it, our youngest is 10 years old. I first reported the issue at 6:05 PM, and I was told it would be addressed. When we returned around 10:30 PM, the same strong odor filled the hallway in the exact same area. I followed up again and spoke to the manager, Kiki, who sent security (Anthony) to speak with me. He was very polite and explained that it's difficult to pinpoint the source, he assured me they were looking into it. Unfortunately, if this continues tomorrow, I'll have no choice but to move my family across the street to the Gaylord, we are Titanium Marriott members so it would be easy. I've genuinely loved this family resort and we come here every summer but this might be our final visit. We can't and won't tolerate an environment like this for our children. What's frustrating is that we've visited other locations, California (I believe it's legal there), the Poconos, and Sandusky and those resorts have a clear, well-enforced zero-tolerance policy. The moment they suspect anything inappropriate, they fix it. This should be a safe, clean, and welcoming place for families. When the hallways reek of marijuana, it completely undermines the experience and makes it hard to enjoy our time here. On a positive note, I want to commend the outstanding customer service we received from Carter C. and our wonderful waitress Jayne at Firegrill. They were both fantastic and deserve recognition. My family recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge, and overall I'd give it a 6/10. There are definitely some highlights. The lazy river was a big hit and super relaxing, and the arcade is honestly really cool with a lot to do. The bowling is cute and fun for families, even though it's very small. We also tried the VR experience, which was actually pretty cool and something different. Food was a mixed bag. The pizza was good, and the nachos were easily the best thing we had there. On the flip side, the burgers were pretty terrible, especially for the price. Speaking of price, that's one of the biggest downsides. We spent around $700 for 2 nights including food and the room, which feels pretty steep for what you get. On top of that, there are a lot of little extra charges that add up--$25 a day for parking, being timed on drinks, and even timed while bowling, which takes away from the experience a bit. Some of the attractions also felt smaller than expected. The laser tag area is tiny, and while fun, it's over pretty quickly. Overall, it's a fun place for kids and families, and there are definitely some memorable parts--but the pricing and extra fees make it hard to fully justify. If you go in expecting to spend quite a bit and just want a fun getaway for the kids, you'll still have a good time. read more

Dusty!!! They fool you with the lobby. The experience at the lobby sets the stage, the sounds he assistance the sights. But then you get to the main reason were all there... the indoor waterpark. First of all, it is tiny. TINY!! Crowded, dirty, gross. There is an outdoor attraction that requires you to wear closed toe shoes and you have to wall through the water park to get there. Picture sneakers on wet floors, dirty sneaker water and barefeet, then picture that water flowing into all the pools. Yeah. This place will take all of your money. As expected the food and drinks are very overpriced, not to mentioned the lines to order at kiosks. Food is gross. We ordered chips and salsa, they charged like $3 extra if you want a tiny cup of jalapeno peppers and its extra for cheese and guac..all in all they didnt give us our jalapenos and salsa. None of it was good. We were smart to just door dash our food instead for dinner. If you look up you can see the thickest layer of dust all over the pipes and tubes. All the slides are corroded by rust. How they are still holding up? Maybe they are waiting for one to fall. The lazy river is a joke. Takes me longer to get around my kitchen island. The rooms are not impressive. Its all a facade. A bad one. The linens are almost disposable. Tiny beds. Tiny table in the room. We had to eat on our beds. Could not get the room to be cool at night but here is the biggest problem I personally had... I was haunted at night in room 6050 at 2 am. This entity was very persistent and did not feel friendly. I have stayed in one of the most haunted hotels in Texas (the Menger) and have never had an experience like this at a hotel. No one got a wink of sleep, not even the kids. I just wanted out of that room so fast. We did not wait for checkout to leave the room. Additionally they try to upsell everything. Take the wands for example. My kids see the little kids wanding away.. looks pretty cool. We go see the wants and they start off at $25 per wand. Do you get to go off and start wanding away with your budget wand? no you must pay for the "game", oh dont have time for a full on game because youre only there for one night? no problem the have a non game feature that you have to pay for so you can kind of interact with the tree trunks. Oh but DONT forget you also might want to buy a wand topper which is another additional fee so that your want appears complete and you can have "extra" powers. If you are thinking about the game pack let me tell you maybe only the ropes course is worth it. The laser tag game the room is tiny, the bowling is mini bowling, and the top golf looks dead. read more

Every year I've brought my girls, granddaughter and nieces, to this location but never have we experienced such unorganized and utter chaos. We arrived later in the evening because we had a lengthy drive. When we arrived, the kids were excited, our first issue which is nothing compared to the many more we would have to endure, there were no carts available so waited for at least 30 mins. After checking in, they double charged my card, then the reservation was incorrect for our room. We were suppose to have four bunks not two. Then the pull out couch was broken. The first night we didn't even have the extra bed. They brought a larger piece to fit into the couch the next day but it couldn't be closed for us to use it as a couch. We had maintenance show up several times just for that problem. After that the faucet became an issue, the microwave was an issue, more problems to deal with for just a two night stay, I was exhausted. I spent more time at the front desk dealing with all of these problems than I enjoyed time with my girls. I'm thankful that I had my sister with me because she distracted the girls. Again, we've been several times so we had high hopes based on past experiences. Regarding the double charge, I had to go to the front desk again early in the morning asking to see our bill. Also, there was an incident taking my niece downstairs to buy water for the girls, there was a group of teen boys racing in the hallway, we walked around them and one of the boys became belligerent. After walking further down the hall, I found their parents encouraging the race and they also were upset that we were just walking the hall to get water. Last but not least, after dealing with the double charge to my card, after leaving, realizing it had not been resolved, dealt with that on the phone for over an hour. This required emails back and forth for two weeks to resolve that issue. It's now resolved but the handling of everything we endured has made such a memorable and wonderful experience from years past not something we will do again. They've spent a lot on renovation's, we enjoyed some of it but at this point the nostalgia is gone and so is the hospitality. read more

My family was excited to stay at Great Wolf Lodge in May 2026, but unfortunately we found that it has seriously gone downhill since our last visit in February 2020. It was very dirty. In the ladies' restroom in the indoor waterpark area, there was a large amount of vomit and some feces on the floor. It was extremely disgusting and appeared to have been there for quite some time. There was also hair and filth all over the floor. I kindly asked if someone could clean it, but I was told they could not because there was not a female cleaner available that day. Our hotel room was also dirty, including the bathroom. The shower curtain was frayed all along the bottom, the hinges on the bathroom door were rusted, and the toilet did not flush properly. The overall condition of the room felt poorly maintained and unclean. The food on the buffet, aside from the fresh fruit and lettuce, looked like frozen microwave food, so we decided to eat elsewhere. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again, as there are many other indoor waterpark alternatives that are cleaner and offer better food options with even a slight effort toward upkeep and quality. read more

We love this resort for a quick getaway, especially during these hot summer months when an indoor water park is a real treat. Hard to believe but it really does get to hot outside in Texas to swim! Make no mistake, Great Wolf Lodge is a family resort, designed to keep kids highly entertained and YES, they will nickel and dime you for *everything.* That being said, I came here for a family vacation over Christmas and my kiddo had an absolute blast, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The resort follows an x days, y nights model - meaning, you can show up for the indoor water park at 10 am the morning of your check in and you can stay on property until 8 pm the night of your check out, if you want to maximize your stay there. Everything was decorated for the holidays during our stay and the front lobby featured a spectacular Christmas tree. Be warned, they *really* lean into the wolf "theme" Kids can howl at the gift shop to receive a free pair of wolf ears. Much like Disney's mouse ears, they're ubiquitous and you'll see lots of families wearing them around the resort. The water park was aging, but decently fun. I liked the big splash down, the wave pool and the lazy River. My daughter liked the mid-size water slides. The massive tubing slides have a 3 or 4 story drop and we didn't attempt. Lots of the infrastructure was a bit corroded or rusty even though you can see evidence of ongoing repainting projects and repairs. We attempted to order a pizza using our wristbands, but the chip reader was broken. "Snow Land" was a bit of a bust - I was expecting a Christmas village feel, but it only consisted of a few snow globes with activities that remained closed during the entirety of our visit. No matter, because there was plenty to occupy us during our stay. The next day we tackled the MagiQuest adventure. I paid for a Paws pass which includes the magic wand needed to play the game. Here's where they get you! Only a parent with a heart of stone (or empty wallet) could resist the pleas for the upgrades for a fancier looking wand and a topper. My kid LOVED the game and was determined to play through to the end of the storyline. The whole thing took about 7 hours (we broke for lunch) and my step-tracker says we walked approximately 3.5 miles. Multiple stations on the 1st-4th floor feature item-gathering quests that have you scrambling from the 4th to the 1st to the 3rd to the 2nd floor and back again. Some of the later final bosses are tough to defeat and took several tries. The lengthy cut scenes at the magical trees represented real bottlenecks and we spent quite some time queue'd up at trees, despite discovering the hack that you don't "need" to report back to the storyline-recommended tree. The stairwells and elevators are clogged with young adventurers and I don't envy the folks in hotel rooms nearby some of the busiest game areas. If you miss the wizards ceremony in the lobby for those who've finished the quest, the staff at the wand store on the 1st floor will do an impromptu "knighting" ceremony for you which was great fun. Our room was moderately comfortable- I got a room with clubhouse bunkbeds for the kids. Faucets were leaky, and the hotel had to temporarily shut off water for about an hour. Yes - a bit spendy, but absolutely a stellar time for kids. It's not the lap of luxury, but it was still very, very entertaining. read more

I recently visited with three kids ages 2, 7, and 9 they all enjoyed themselves. This is my second Great Wolf Lodge location that I visited the first one being Webster. I would say that the resort itself is bigger than the Western location. However, the waterpark is about the same size the outside part of the grapevine location might be a little larger. I did not have any of the food there so I can't comment on that. I will say that the room could've been updated. Small things were happening, such as issues with the microwave and flushing the toilet. The bathroom was dimly lit and out of the four days I stayed housekeeping came by once over all my kids enjoyed it. Also, the elevators were a nightmare, taking long times to come. read more

My first post renovation trip after many trips to the older property. I really like the extensive rework downstairs on level 1 with Magiquest, the food court, and other amenities. However, I do feel like bowling and VR pricing has a horrible value. I can pay $17 for magiquest that takes an average kid 4 hours to play and have fun or $8 for 5 minutes of VR or 20 minutes of bowling. It made way more sense to avoid all the new for the redone magiquest game that the kids reported worked wonderfully. Both inside and outside water parks are the same with a little more random seating in hidden places. Cabanas are expensive in both areas but don't provide enough perks or premium locations to warrant the cost. The biggest issue we experienced was guests with young kids either not having swim diapers or letting them get too full caused both areas to be shut down three separate times. I can only imagine how disappointed day pass goers felt sitting out for 45 minutes to an hour waiting for it to be ready again. The lifeguards hate it as do the guests so keep your kids clean and checked. Still recommend the highest tier birthday package that gives banners, $40 back to the arcade, pizza and soda, full size cake, and balloons for $90. They've kept that the same price for years and that's appreciated to make birthday goers feel special. Overall, a good family time with a few hiccups but something we would revisit. Although the magiquest fans would appreciate a new game, rotating games or something to liven their experience. read more

We visited back in 2019. A lot has changed since then as far as aesthetics go. It looks so outdated and different from how it looks when we went before. The staff were great. In the waterpark area, if you do not intend on getting wet wear minimal clothing and bring a handheld fan. It gets really hot in there, and the chlorine smell can be over powering. Living as far as I live from great Wolf, I would not make the drive to come back, but if you are closer to the area, I would definitely recommend you bring your kids, especially in the colder months just so they can have some swimming fun. read more

Only 7 minutes away from the mall where there's Meow Wolf and Round One. Everything I wanted was right there. Including their version of Chinatown. Great stay. The entertainment provided by the hotel is the only thing good about it. It was very expensive. Our room wasn't clean. Our feet stuck to floor. Also they don't clean rooms while you stay there. No where to put clothes in master bedroom in suite. No floor lamps or enough lamps. Sipper cup that I purchased in a package never received. They ran out. They told us they would have next day. 5 days later no cups. They gave our food order away to someone and then tried to make us pay again to replace it. Close parts of water park during day to clean it. I felt like the whole lodge was ran by teenagers. Poor quality for the price. We don't plan on returning to this location or other based on our experience. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. We were in Grizzly Bear suite 2058. read more

This Great Wolf Lodge has been around for a very long time and needs a much needed renovation. We went during some of the renovations where we had to park in the very back because front entrance was inaccessible and we had to walk far to get to our room after checking in. The room was old and smelled a little of mildew but we didn't complain that much during our stay because we were hardly in there. Honestly we only came here because we received a discount to stay again from the Webster location and decided since we were going to Dallas anyway we could give this stay a try. Only reason why it's not one star is because we had a quick check in, safe area around the hotel, the waitress at the breakfast buffet was so nice and the drive to other places in Dallas we were going to wasn't bad from here. The waterpark was okay but did not have as much to do for my older son. He actually fell really bad and hit his face by the large bucket play area because it was so slippery on some part where there was a trickle of water. Food was outrageously priced. We ate at the breakfast buffet which was not worth it like the one in Webster and because of this renovation there was a lot of loud noise so early in the morning and we could smell the hot torch air from the construction. We also ate at the restaurant upstairs for dinner and the service was so unbelievably slow I was over it. The nachos had so many jalapeños in it that my kids couldn't eat it. But the kicker for us was the last night of our stay... my husband found a single bed bug in the bathroom and killed it. We freaked out and checked everywhere else in the room especially the beds but nothing so not sure. Maybe it crawled from the vent? We checked out so fast the next morning, a little rattled and probably won't be back to this location again. read more

Meaning the 100$ paid in advance no longer did anything for the trip. Magiquest cost 90$ for a plastic wand and the actual game; the waterpark is similar quality to kahlihari resort, the base cost was supposed to only be 340$ for a standard room.. the room is no better than any best western out there.. overall bad experience; just trying to stop people from making the same mistakes I did, it really sucks the room isn't even a whirlpool but it is 340$.. only chose to come because had no family to spend holidays with, ik prices jump during holidays, but all the overtime I worked went right in the drain like it didn't matter. Waited in check in line 3 times in a row to get into room, that time is gone Showers in room did not run hot water and took forever to get Luke warm. Wanted a good place to get away from home for a little bit but this place has you begging to go right back home after 3hours, will never come back and advise any other families or couples to steer clear of this place. The lodge had lots of great activities for the kids to enjoy! The water park was amazing! The lines for the slides were reasonable. We only wish more inner tubes were functioning. The family enjoyed the laser tag and bowling. The atmosphere was festive and energetic. The employees were very helpful and friendly across the board. The lifeguards were attentive. We enjoyed the convenience of having the room key built into our wristbands. There were drawbacks when we entered the room. The thermostat never got the room comfortably cool. There was hair in our tub. The room had no hand soap for after using the toilet and every hand sanitizer station was empty. The elevators were slow and one seemed permanently out of service, slowing it down further. Overall, still net positive experience. read more

We've only been at Great Wolf Lodge for 10 minutes, and I can already say our experience has been nothing short of incredible. Our amenities host, Melyssa, went above and beyond for us from the very start. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed right away. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making your stay special, and Melyssa absolutely exceeded our expectations. The overall experience was okay, but it could have been much better. I met a really nice lifeguard named Camdon or Cadon; I'm not sure which. I only glanced at his name tag. He was great and definitely deserves a raise. That's why I generously gave 3 stars. The Starbucks there is terrible! Do not spend your money there. It costs the same as a regular Starbucks, but the coffee tastes awful. None of the slides shut down while I was there, which was a plus. The lines moved faster than on previous visits, so it wasn't too bad. Some lines still took a while, though. A really rude lifeguard named Patrick made my trip less enjoyable. He would often yell at us for things beyond our control, like coming down the slide backward at the end. When we went on the toilet bowl ride, we also went down backwards at the end of the spinning, and he told us we would be kicked out if we went backwards again. But many people, including us, naturally went backwards on that ride, so it's not like we were doing anything wrong. Also, as you can see in the pictures you added, we were going up some stairs and there was a wild roach. That is disgusting. Overall, the experience was okay. There were ups and downs, but when it was good, it was really fun. read more

We have been going to GWL for nearly a decade. With our large family we spend thousands of dollars each stay. We usually go once or twice a year and are voyager club members. Our reservation was placed on 3/9/26 (yesterday) for check in 3/17/26 (8 days from reservation date) at 4pm. This morning (3/10/26) we received notice about a school activity and immediately reached out to cancel. This is the GWL Standard Change and Cancellation Policy: Guests making a reservation eight or more days from their arrival date have 24 hours in which to modify or cancel a reservation with no penalties or fees. So after waiting on hold for 20+ minutes we finally were put in contact with a representative to assist in our cancelation. We were informed that since the "call for cancelation" was in less than 8 days of reservation they were going to charge $100 fee! I referenced the verbiage from THEIR CONFIRMATION LETTER that states if I cancel within 24hours (keep in mind reservation was placed last night and I am now canceling at 9:30 in the morning) there would be no penalty or fees since reservation date was 8 days from check-in. After several used car salesman tactics of "let me check with management", I was informed that the normal $100 fee would be reduced to $50. I don't understand how there is a fee at all if we are in adherence to the guidelines stated on their confirmation letter. Each stay there have been more and more hidden fees but we kept coming back because of nostalgia. However it is clearly apparent with the decline in upkeep, predatory fees, long hold times, lack of ability to modify reservation on website or in app - they do not care about their customers regardless if new or returning. I asked for confirmation of cancelation and proof of refund in writing. What I received was a pdf of a cancelation notice, no official company logo or letterhead which seems pretty shady. I took a screen shot of app showing reservation as canceled. We will not be returning. 0 stars - do not recommend. Go to Epic instead or save up and go to Kalahari. But GWL - Never again read more

My kids definitely hard fun here especially in the games area. The rooms definitely need upgrading! Breakfast buffet wasn't bad, it was expected. May probably have to come back and give a try when my kids a way older than toddlers! read more

Been here a few times now they've recently remodeled and things are all new than before. This is the first time I've utilized the outside pool area as it's normally March when here. There's more than expected and it's very open with tons of seating. The outdoor pool closes at 1930 and indoor at 2000. Also there are now gate that you have to receive a ticket from like a parking garage to enter, these are new as you could freely enter and exit before. This seems like a good safety measure, however when returning my armband could not be read so I received another ticket for entry. I am not sure how they knows who is and isn't receiving these tickets if they aren't presented to the front desk. I feel if they have individuals who are staying maybe be given a pass upon check in to show they are a patron for the evening. Yet this could also make one a target for someone is they are aware of this. I say all that to say, we'd be staying again. Have fun and enjoy read more

have taken my kids 4-5 times and yes it's overpriced but they always had fun so I continued to take them. I will not be taking them again after this trip scheduled. Great wolf does not care about the safety of their customers only about money even though they charge an absurd rate to families anyways. Grapevine is being hit with a massive ice storm expecting power outages and no travel and instead of being understanding of why people would need to reschedule they CHARGE A FEE just to reschedule and then make you pay over your previous rate to book. Their lack of customer service was outstanding. Not to mention I was on hold for an hour before I could get through to talk to someone. read more

The best place for family to vacation. It's all in one place which makes it so fun and easy on every family. Water park, adult jacuzzi, build a bear, arcade, restaurants, free kids activities and dance parties, mining for gems. This place has it all! Meet and greet animal character and dance parties were a hit. The pool area is amazing and a ton of fun!!!! The food here is delicious and the restaurant by the lobby (buffet) was DELICIOUS. We had an amazing experience. Of course with any vacation spots there are pros and cons. CONS: The scheduling and cancelation is strict and ridiculous. The worst part is allowing anyone to put there card on file if it's for a kids day or christmas present for families. They make it a hassle to do things. Lastly the pools are NOT heated which tucked in the winter. The pool area is warm but the pools are cold which really is upsetting. They should be heated. Jacuzzi are barely hot also. read more
