This place was a blast ! We had a great time but we also arrived right at 10am which was really a smart idea because after 11 it gets filled with children and the lines get longer. After 2 hours we got over it, but it was a blast. The following day we were very sore, and felt as if we had done arm workout lol.

So far so good!! Good ambience, clean, cool colors/design. Girls having fun and the staff actually looking over the kids. This place its even fun for Adults Definitely coming back!!

Solid spot, the 30 day pass is worth it, staff is helpful and friendly ; food offering is a little tough, hopefully that can improve

Clean facility rn. I understand they're newly opened so staff is still learning. My only real complaint is how strictly they enforced time limits. Our kids were already in line for the launching slide when time ran out & staff made them walk down instead of letting them take one last turn. Considering we paid $35 per kid in our group of 5, it's the least they could've done. It felt unnecessary, it's not that serious. There are bins throughout area where sliding pads are put back and taken as needed. Not a bad concept. However, I'd like to see more hand sanitizer stations. We witnessed a few kids get nosebleeds on the launching slide. They just wiped it off and went about their day while touching hand railes and pad handle. Overall, it has potential but could use a few improvements. Socks are $5 on top of admission.

Overall just a bad experience. I was so excited to have a place like this locally and was really looking forward to this being our new go to play zone, but things definitely fell short. The line to check in overflowed outside the doors. Paid for 90 min tickets online for a start time of 3pm. Got there early and waited in line for about 20 mins. By the time my kids were all checked in with their wristbands it was 2:50 and the attendant went ahead and let them in to start sliding. Great! The kids took a quick break and we grabbed some food at the concessions and were disappointed that the chicken strips were charred! I looked over at another table and saw they also had a full plate of chicken strips that were black and seems like they were thinking the same as us. Dry and just burnt to a crisp. The personal pizza was still cold in the middle. Yikes. At 3:45, they called out my kids color wristbands band along with a few other colors that their time was up. I paid for 90 mins and my kids were kicked out at 45mins. Couldn't get to a staff member reconcile the inconsistency as the line was still out the door by this time. My kids were over it, so we left and don't plan on coming back. I understand they are still new and have some work to do to get things running a bit smoother. But overall just wasn't very impressed with the customer service, they were swamped and it reflected in dropping the ball in several areas. From the beginning to the end the experience was not great. $70 for two kids and $35 in food, only to have their time cut short... bummed and had high hopes. Not worth it.

Kids loved it! We are so excited for it to be open! A couple things though, restrooms need arrows and signs. It's down a long back hallway and is definitely not clear. Also need more shoe storage in the front. Other than that the AC is great, clean and the employees are all over keeping kids safe.

The kids had a blast; however, we were unable to order any food. Soda fountain not working. Want to order anything other than pizza, too bad. Not allowed to bring outside food so you end up with hungry kids with short tempers.

The yellow one was the best!

We went the 1st day!! My 4 boys had so much fun! I even went on some slides lol. The staff was sweet and helpful. The place was clean and big! We will totally be coming back!

    Food menu

The slides are great but the food is very overpriced. Came with older kids (13,14) and they were over it after about 1/2 an hour. They keep it very cold inside so wear something warm if you don't plan to be running around.

It felt intimate but spacious, with lots of options on where to hang out during the event. This place is a gem - so many people kept asking, "How did you find this place?!" We're so glad we did! We also opted for the flatbread pizza option during cocktail hour and did NOT regret it. The venue is already so gorgeous with all the lush greenery and flowers. We added lots of our own touches like Mexican flags, cacti on tables, table runners, etc. It was so much fun to be able to dress up the venue to reflect our personalities. Emily has the venue running like a well oiled machine. She's super easy to work with and patient. I'm so, so glad we found Slate Barn and Gardens for our wedding.

Our day was beyond beautiful we want to relive it! Ok some details for you brides to be and grooms to be: Emily and her team are so accommodating from start to finish. She handles everything from table set up and venue prep to the center pieces. They have a great selection of candle holders, decor items and linen colors for everyones style. There is a brides suite on the grounds, sorry guys you'll have to chill somewhere else. Its cozy and fit all 9 of us girls in it! THE FOOD. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was. We were so happy with all the different menu options, we were able to accommodate all different types of diets in one swoop. Emily plans all of the venue side of the day, all you bring in your drinks, a DJ and florals. We had the best vendors make our day come to life. Initially, we were scheduled to hold her special day at a venue aboard Camp Pendleton, however, with the current state of... everything... we made the decision to start looking elsewhere for a venue out in town. My daughter and I were vendors at an event a couple weeks prior and fell in love with the look and feel of the Vistonian. Once we realized that having the her party on base was no longer an option, the first place we looked was this downtown Vista gem. The location was major. Moving it off base, alleviated the stress of having to worry about guests not being able to attend due to security restrictions, there was ample parking, the venue was partially decorated in the style that we were hoping to capture, we were able to bring in our own catering, vendors were able to access and move about the venue with ease, and working with Shelly Firth made for a stress-free, accommodating, professional experience. The Vistonian Venue offers a rustic, refined, Boho, modern, minimalistic aesthetic that fit perfectly with our rustic tropical Philippines Filipina vision we had for the party. The luscious greens throughout the venue helped to minimize the amount of greenery we had to bring in to curate the vibe. The open, high ceilings with exposed beams and tasteful touches of modern wood elements also added to the ambiance we were hoping to achieve. As our coordinator, Shelly was amazing. She worked with my desired layout so that the day of the event we walked in and start setting up without hang-ups. It made it a lot easier for everyone involved in set-up on our side. During the event, the restrooms stayed clean, the trash levels were maintained, and as the go-to gal, even I was able to relax, visit with guests, and enjoy the special evening. When I share with others about the Vistonian Venue, the first thing I say is that it was truly serendipitous. It played out exactly as it should have. For it to work out the way that it did, made it better than I could have possibly imagined. Reflecting on the night, the first adjective that comes to mind is FUN. Everyone had fun, especially the birthday girl.

The bathrooms were clean and had multiple stalls to accommodate the ladies. There is also a huge kitchen with a walk in frig that is available for use as part of your rental. We had approximately 250+ guests attend our event and there was plenty of space in the back lawn area for over flow seating. We used the outdoor patio area to set up 4 buffet lines of food. 2 lines for our catered meal, 1 line for kids meal, and 1 line for our cultural foods. The patio area also had ample room for us to place our photo booth there. The back grass and patio area looks spectacular at night with the market lights to add to the festive ambiance. The grounds were large enough to house an adult sized jumper that helped to keep our younger guests entertained. The grass area still had plenty of available space for a corn hole spot, our marquee letter signs and our taco guy we hired to end our night's festivities. Shannon is the property manager, and she is a true gem. She worked tirelessly with us to help obtain all our vendor COIs and was extremely kind to allow us to come the day before our party to drop off our drinks and many party supplies. Anything we needed, Shannon was there to help resolve. She is friendly and professional, with a sense of humor to boot. We received sooo many compliments from our family and friends about how beautiful the venue was. Of course, anyone who dealt with Shannon adored her and her down to earth vibe! We loved that we could bring our own food to the venue without being tied to a set list of food vendors. The bar area was also spacious and the bartender kept the libations flowing all night long. The Optimist Club has 3 belly tables with linens that came with rental of the venue. These worked out fabulously for our guests wanting to hang out by the bar and smoking area.
