You still have to pay for parking. I recommend the parking lot next door. The Pirate Park Playground was built by Superior Playgrounds who was tasked with designing a one-of-a-kind pirate theme play space to spark creative play and provide a safe place for budding buccaneers to play. The playground is made of recycled material like milk jugs and was created to be corrosion resistant so that it would always look good in this salt water coastal ecosystem. Located only 100 feet from the beach, the playground is fenced in for safety. There is a large pirate ship for older children to climb on and slide down and a smaller area for younger privateers. The crows nest with rigging looked especially fun to climb. Other playground play structures include clownfish and blue tang fish spring riders, a custom octopus playhouse, and palm tree shade. There are four triangle sail shades and poured-in-place safety surfacing to protect little knees and bottoms. Bathrooms are nearby. During my visit the playground was filled with kids and their families enjoying the nautical theme. This unique play space fosters imagination and physical movement for the youngest North Beach residents and visitors.

Plus, the staff is so kind and accommodating. We as a society need to invest and support spaces and places like this that not only offer incredible experiences, but also give back to all its visitors and urban spaces they inhabit - even if they're on a small, missable island (jajaja).

Which would be your goats who are out invisible in our harassed by the patron of the Haunted House, which can cause large amount of stress . To me as a patron and former employee of parrot jungle, I can see you do not have the animals best interest in mind. I would strongly suggest that you have a talk with the owners and managers of this Haunted House she can put the welfare and well-being of the animals as your top priority. When we walked in, we were astonished at how huge this place was! It has indoor go kart racing and I'm not talking the slow, kiddie ones either! These go karts went very fast and it was a very large and curvy track. They also had a huge skating rink, an entire 18 hole, miniature golf room, a huge trampoline room, an obstacle course that hung from the ceiling, virtual reality games and experiences, a ton of standard arcade games as well as a restaurant and bar. (they had so much that I'm probably forgetting something important!) We had the time of our lives! We killed zombies and road motorcycles and battled pirates, laughing, screaming, and yelling the entire time like three little kids. We stopped for a while and went to the bar and ordered nachos and Mojitos. The nachos were delicious (they were actually the best nachos I ever had! ) and they made a special Mojito that was also very good. After we ate and had a couple of drinks, we went back to playing arcade games. Before we got a chance to even do anything else we realized we had been there for five hours! By the time we left, it was getting very busy and we were exhausted but on top of the world. We had so much fun running around that place, each of us addicted to a different arcade game. We left with credits still on our cards so I am going back soon. Regardless of how old you are, put this on your list of things you want to check out because I promise, you won't regret it.

I also really liked that they offer adult beverages liquor, wine, and canned drinks which gives parents a chance to relax a bit while the kids play. The fun bites were fresh, sweet, and crispy definitely a highlight. They also have Dippin' Dots (one of my favorites), and those did not disappoint. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, and fries as well those were just okay, nothing special, but the kids enjoyed them. Pricing was reasonable overall. Just note that socks are required and need to be purchased, and jumping is charged by the hour. Some attractions like the zip line and arcade games come with additional fees. I really appreciated the designated area for kids under five it's a safe space where little ones can play without worrying about bigger kids.

While unhealthy, it was super delicious. The last item is the one I was most excited for, but unfortunately I would never get again. I heard from some friends that the Birria Ramen was great. Unfortunately, it was overly salty. They use the $1 Marucha ramen cups that you get at Publix, and they put birria mix in it. The taste was overwhelming. I would rate 3/10. When you buy your tickets, you can also purchase bird food. We fed both the flamingos and the peacocks, and while it was a fun experience, here's my little tip--don't feed the peacocks from your hand unless you're ready for a pretty strong peck! I learned that one the hard way. There is also a small café, guided tram tours, and on weekends they often have live music, especially in the evenings or during holiday events. Around Christmas, the gardens are beautifully decorated with lights, making the whole place feel even more magical. If you're looking for a relaxing day surrounded by nature, Flamingo Gardens is definitely worth a visit.

Even as an adult, I found it distasteful and really not appropriate for a place where there are so many children. The park could also be cleaner. The bathrooms in particular were pretty disgusting and didn't seem well maintained. The food is definitely overpriced, but that's expected at an amusement park. You also can't bring your own food into the park, so you're pretty much stuck purchasing food there. That being said, I actually thought the food was pretty good for what it is! I do think Rapids is really cute for kids, especially with all of the themed children's areas and slides. I still have fun every time I go, but I think it's important to set your expectations. Go on a weekday if you can, expect long lines on busy days, and be prepared for some cleanliness and music issues. Overall, it's still a fun day out, but there are definitely some things I think the park could improve.

What I don't understand is the company's policy of refusing to issue refunds when the experience never takes place. The only option offered was to reschedule. That might work for local residents, but I was visiting from a different country. Even for someone who lives nearby, driving an hour to come back on another day, only to risk another weather cancellation doesn't seem like a reasonable solution. To make matters worse, the person at the front desk showed little interest in helping. Instead of trying to find a fair resolution or showing any empathy, they simply repeated the rescheduling policy. The customer service felt indifferent and unhelpful. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. Since the activity was canceled by the business due to weather, I would have been satisfied with a refund. Instead, I left feeling like my time and money didn't matter. I would't recommend anyone, especially if you're visiting from out of town. If bad weather prevents the tour from happening, don't expect much flexibility or consideration. Stay way and look somewhere else.
