The Pirate Park Playground was built by Superior Playgrounds who was tasked with designing a one-of-a-kind pirate theme play space to spark creative play and provide a safe place for budding buccaneers to play. The playground is made of recycled material like milk jugs and was created to be corrosion resistant so that it would always look good in this salt water coastal ecosystem. Located only 100 feet from the beach, the playground is fenced in for safety. There is a large pirate ship for older children to climb on and slide down and a smaller area for younger privateers. The crows nest with rigging looked especially fun to climb. Other playground play structures include clownfish and blue tang fish spring riders, a custom octopus playhouse, and palm tree shade. There are four triangle sail shades and poured-in-place safety surfacing to protect little knees and bottoms. Bathrooms are nearby. During my visit the playground was filled with kids and their families enjoying the nautical theme. This unique play space fosters imagination and physical movement for the youngest North Beach residents and visitors.

The conditions were shocking: birds crammed into tiny cages stacked next to each other, kangaroos trapped in small empty pens, and the largest tortoise I've ever seen stuck in an enclosure the size of my living room -- with another tortoise. Every animal looked stressed, sad, or neglected. My kids were so upset we left early. I'm ashamed I spent money here, but I'm glad I saw it so I can warn others. This place is cruel, depressing, and should not be allowed to operate.

However, the place seems to be falling apart and it was evident with red decorations falling off at the entrance. This is something that can easily be fixed. The treehouse playground though needs a little bit more of an upkeep as part of the ground is lifting and things are falling apart. Seeing the animals was great. I fed a goat and enjoyed doing that but again some of those animals enclosures need more of an upkeep. The animal show at 11:30 AM is a little outdated. I would recommend changing it to make it more entertaining. Overall, if you come, don't have much expectations. It's a nice thing to do after you have done everything else in Miami.

These go karts went very fast and it was a very large and curvy track. They also had a huge skating rink, an entire 18 hole, miniature golf room, a huge trampoline room, an obstacle course that hung from the ceiling, virtual reality games and experiences, a ton of standard arcade games as well as a restaurant and bar. (they had so much that I'm probably forgetting something important!) We had the time of our lives! We killed zombies and road motorcycles and battled pirates, laughing, screaming, and yelling the entire time like three little kids. We stopped for a while and went to the bar and ordered nachos and Mojitos. The nachos were delicious (they were actually the best nachos I ever had! ) and they made a special Mojito that was also very good. After we ate and had a couple of drinks, we went back to playing arcade games. Before we got a chance to even do anything else we realized we had been there for five hours! By the time we left, it was getting very busy and we were exhausted but on top of the world. We had so much fun running around that place, each of us addicted to a different arcade game. He came over and made sure everything was okay, provided an ice pack, and was very comforting and attentive. That level of care really stood out to me. The facility itself was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. This location did seem a little less busier than the location in Davie however, towards the end of the day, it does pick up a little bit. I also really liked that they offer adult beverages liquor, wine, and canned drinks which gives parents a chance to relax a bit while the kids play. The fun bites were fresh, sweet, and crispy definitely a highlight. They also have Dippin' Dots (one of my favorites), and those did not disappoint. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, and fries as well those were just okay, nothing special, but the kids enjoyed them. Pricing was reasonable overall. Just note that socks are required and need to be purchased, and jumping is charged by the hour. Some attractions like the zip line and arcade games come with additional fees. I really appreciated the designated area for kids under five it's a safe space where little ones can play without worrying about bigger kids.

We had younger kids at the party (10 and under), so we asked to have the pizzas double-cut, into smaller slices... but they refused, and we had to run down the street into the Dollar Tree to get a pizza cutter, to then double cut it ourselves. We ran out of pitchered drinks multiple times, and I had to bring the pitchers back to get refilled, as they pretty much never/barely checked up on us throughout the party. It would have been cheaper and more sensible to go to eat elsewhere either after or beforehand... Maybe just pay regular admission and try bringing a cake, if they'll let you in with it. Having the parents buy their Groupon offer, and then reimbursing them, would have made more sense for a party and saving money.

Unfortunately, it was overly salty. They use the $1 Marucha ramen cups that you get at Publix, and they put birria mix in it. The taste was overwhelming. I would rate 3/10. Parking is free, but there is a 'preferred ' parking option where you pay to park closer. I used the free parking but I got there at 2:00pm so the walk wasn't bad. Flamingo Gardens is one of our favorite places in South Florida. Honestly, I'd even call it a…read morepeacock garden because there are so many of them wandering freely throughout the property. I especially love visiting during the winter months when the weather is cooler. It's the perfect time to slow down, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and have a little picnic with the kids. There are plenty of peaceful spots to sit, relax, and watch the peacocks walking around. The grounds are always clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. When you buy your tickets, you can also purchase bird food. We fed both the flamingos and the peacocks, and while it was a fun experience, here's my little tip--don't feed the peacocks from your hand unless you're ready for a pretty strong peck! I learned that one the hard way. There is also a small café, guided tram tours, and on weekends they often have live music, especially in the evenings or during holiday events. Around Christmas, the gardens are beautifully decorated with lights, making the whole place feel even more magical. If you're looking for a relaxing day surrounded by nature, Flamingo Gardens is definitely worth a visit.
