First off, the beach vibe is here is really cool. You don't really see the sea, so would I call it seaside, I dont know, but it was fun nonetheless. Our waiter was SOOO chill and nice... he had so many friendly jokes and quips. The food was also great! I got the lobster roll and the bun was just soooo buttery. I loved it! There was also a good amount of lobster in it. I got coleslaw on the side and even that was really tasty. We also shared some bang bang shrimp. They were crispy and came with a rich and spicy aioli... yum! Overall, a fun place to eat on the island!
Woah. Got a pound of peel and eat shrimp which was the highlight of my trip. Had was perfectly seasoned and the butter and red sauce complimented it perfectly! The server checkered in on us several times she was great! The place itself is clean but doesn't have AC inside so it can be a little warm. I would come back here so much if I lived here!!
Came here for breakfast. Service was pretty bad, mess up our orders even though a waitress took forever to write down the orders. The only benefit is a nice view. Everything else is not great. Food was very below average. Definitely not something I would recommend. We each ordered something different and nothing was good. The only semi decent food was a biscuit. Omelet was super oily and not well made, everyone who got sausage, received bacon. Not a great place to eat.
I ordered the burger with cheddar cheese and it was amazing. I ordered it medium rare and came out right on temp. The burger was juicy and just like a homemade burger. The atmosphere here is laid back beach and if you come during the day during the week you can relax without it being so crowded. I think it is rare to have a beachside restaurant that also has good
We arrived after 6:00pm on a Tuesday in mid-August, a little past peak tourist season. We were seated immediately. Our server, Erin, was attentive, knowledgeable and full of personality. We ordered a bottle of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Crab-Topped Flounder, Crab Cakes (2) Platter and a delicious slice of my favorite, Key Lime Pie, to top off our excellent meals. We were very happy with our dining experience. Service was prompt, 45 minutes from being seated to ringing up the bill. Entrees, wine, pie + tax totaled $95.23. Erin earned every bit of her 20% tip. We'll be back to Sliders.
We love this spot- the food is fantastic, the service is good, and the vibes are always great. Often has live music! The wings and the fried shrimp platter are our go-tos but just tried the fish and chips and was equally impressed.
The ambiance was great -- the music was awesome, and the breeze today was absolutely perfect. We sat outside and really enjoyed the live music and coastal vibe. The place was packed, so service was a bit slow, and we didn't get drink refills, but the food was good and worth the wait. Overall, it was still a really enjoyable experience, especially for the atmosphere and setting. Would definitely come back, just hoping for a little smoother service next time.
This restaurant was right next to our hotel and right on the beach. Cute, beach ambiance, friendly service. They have a lot of drink options and you can have them in a hand carted coconut as well. Not a ton of vegetarian options but the veggie power bowl was pretty good and very filling. It was my nanas birthday as well and they brought her out a slice of key lime pie that said Happy Birthday which was really sweet.
Love this place! The food is always great! Service is always so nice! I will say i wish they'd take the seating away from near the sandbox it's just not a comfortable way to eat or for the server to get to you.
Came here a year later while on vacation and spent some more time here. We sat at the bar both times. The bar's "swing seats" are so fun. The bartenders were attentive and personable. We got a soft pretzel and the cheese dip was so good! Very chill environment. Highly recommend for a beachside tiki bar.
We live in Jacksonville. We were invited to a Birthday for my wife's uncle 90's birthday. We were there during lunch. Our waitress was very friendly and did a great job taking care of us all (very friendly, patient and understanding). This was my wife and I first eating here. I ordered a Beach Burger with everything except onions. I had a side of BBQ which was amazing!!!! I loved this burger! It was cooked just right and was full of great flavor! The fries were great as well. My wife ordered the bowl of Loaded Seafood Chowder. It was very good and loved the flavor. The only complaint was the bowl was quite small for the $13 price. When you think "bowl" I see the bowl being larger than a cup size. I would hate to see what the cup size looks like. For $13 the bowl needs to be larger; just our opinion. Overall; great service, great food, great atmosphere, everything was clean. Parking was a nightmare. We had to park 15 minutes away and walk to the restaurant because all the parking was full.
Mom wanted to get out on a Sunday for the balcony breakfast, so we ordered omelets and grits on the outside patio. Seating overlooked the water and was shaded, but the overhead fan wasn't working hard enough on a still, humid morning. The food came quickly, but my water never got refilled. The two (yes...two) pieces of shrimp inside the shrimp and crab Florentine omelet were 100% unseasoned. Couldn't taste the crab. Server recommended the cheese grits over plain, but I thought they were too gooey - like eating the inside of a grilled cheese from a bowl with a spoon. For real though, a seaside seafood omelet with two shrimp for $18.99? No thanks.
Although the prices are a bit high, it's what to be expected being right on the beach. The food is worth it, portion sizes were good! And, you are just steps away from the water/beach. The outdoor live music is always enjoyable and the outdoor bar has swings instead of seats- super fun! Our wait staff was kinda limited and not as fast as needed, I think they were just understaffed for the amount of people who came. No issues once getting the staff attention though. All in all 7/10, we would for sure go back.
We were on a vacation in Amelia Island, and our hotel was right across from Sliders Seaside grill. It looked super fun, so we decided to give it a try. Amelia island is VERY dog friendly, and this restaurant was no exception. Our dog was not only tolerated, but welcomed. Our server,Nautical, was super friendly and helpful when we were trying to figure out what to eat. We both ended up getting the Catch of the Day BLT that was served with a fried green tomato and a delicious remoulade sauce. It came with a side of fries that our dog really enjoyed. The vibe of the restaurant was super fun with tables on sand and nice live music playing. We've kind of sat where the entrance to the kitchen was and not one server got upset that they had to walk by our 70 lb Pitbull. In fact one of them got him a bowl of water which was super nice. The food was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals we had while in Amelia Island. I would definitely go back if we return. My husband and I had lunch at Sliders. We were not disappointed. My husband had the cheeseburger and fries. He enjoyed that burger! It was cooked to order. He requested sautéed onions on the side. I had the lobster roll and fries! The lobster roll is in season so if you're visiting Amelia Island, FL, stop by and try it. It was delicious! I hadn't had lobster in a long time. Yummy!! The fries were good and crispy too. Our server was funny as all outdoors. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name. I do remember that she & her husband don't like the same football teams. read more

This place is a gem off the ocean. Location is its best asset. This time we went and due to the cold weather on New Year's Eve we were able to get a spot in front of the band in the upstairs lounge. I had never been up there and was pleasantly delighted. The bar staff were very friendly and quickly brought drinks and food. The bang-bang shrimp was banging! Served with a nice side of seaweed. We followed it with a plate of fried pickles. Yum. While the outdoor bar and stage is the usual place we frequent, this was a welcome change. We must return. read more

Well done Sliders! The beach burger was perfect! Our nice waiter even added a couple of fried green tomatoes to it to make it perfect! Hubby had the blackened chicken sandwich, excellent choice! The service was excellent and the view, simply amazing! They have a wonderful selection of sides, I can't wait to try each and every one. read more
Great little spot! Lena, my server did an excellent job of making me feel at home and welcome. She was actual new to this location, but didn't let that stop her from providing stellar service. The drink was perfect...scotch on the rocks, so not too hard to get perfect. The Captain's Platter was too good for words. I ordered blackened and they pull it off with an expertise that most non-Louisiana residents can not accomplish. Scallops were tender and well seasoned, the fish was fresh and flaky, the card cake was a step above the rest in the area. One critique, the shrimp could have been pulled a few seconds sooner...rule of thumb, if it's "done" on the grill, it is "over-done" on the plate. They were not bad though, just the one thing I would have changed if I was on the grill! My go to weekend spot on the beach to just sit and have a cocktail GREAT music at a perfect volume and super friendly staff at the outdoor bar. Service is great and food comes out quickly. My go to appetizers are the bangin shrimp, fried chicken potstickers, and baked lobster & crab dip. read more

Sliders has inside and outside eating. Outside you eat with sand in your toes! Food is plentiful, some nights there is live music...it's a fun place. Right over the sand dunes is the beach where regrettably they can drive 4,wheel cars/truckers a small distance on the beach. read more

Me and my family chose to dine here for dinner one friday evening. It appeared very lively and beautiful with live music being played outside. Me and my partner both ordered 2 drinks (one refill) and 2 very small appetizers. Not only did it end up being incredibly over priced and expensive, we were also almost declined service. The bar tender was aggressive at first, and seemed to have an issue with our ids and the way they looked, claiming he "could deny us service"... the moment we walked in. The food was good, the drinks were as well. It was not worth a 70 dollar bill though with the service we were given. The outside seating i could see being enjoyable on a nice summer day, but definitely not very affordable! read more

Oh what a nice place to sit and enjoy the breeze and a good musician! The food was fabulous - the breading on the fish was tasty and slightly seasoned but just salt. The fish was perfectly cooked and flaky on the inside and crunchy on the outside. But, even better was the toasted cuban bread it was on! The warm lobster and crab dip was a perfect appetizer and plentiful. Two thumbs up (and snuck a quick last spoon of the dip to make sure it was all gone : ) !! I had the burger it was great!, my husband had teriyaki ball he loved it, my son had a fish sandwich he enjoyed, and my daughter had oysters she was happy! We got seated right away, employees were busy but they did try to keep up with us! They had live music was awesome right there with the ocean. Also very convenient for family with small kids they had this sand playground, my kids would of loved it if they were small. read more
Nothing to complain about! Our server was very kind and helpful. The vibe of the restaurant we LOVED! You can sit inside, top deck or outside. We sat outside because they had the cutest park for littles. It was so nice to have a table right next to the park and watch our children play. Took my sandals off and enjoyed the sand! The food was amazing! I got the banging chicken tacos and wow! So flavorful. My husband isn't a fan of seafood so he got the wings and they looked amazing plus he really enjoyed them. My mother in law got a seafood platter and loved everything, mentioned the hushpuppies were a bit sweet though. Went for lunch but plan to come back for a night time experience. Cute seeing children play & dogs able to sit outside with owners. Everyone around us seemed to have a great experience too. read more
