This was my 2nd time here with friends. The service was great. Food excellent. Atmosphere nice. We had casino and Rockefeller oysters. Then split the low country boil with my husband. It was absolutely Delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Just took a drive to Amelia Island with my wife to enjoy a little day date for lunch and light shopping. We stopped into The Crab Trap. Pleasant server and environment. However, we ordered steamed shrimp as an appetizer the shrimp was hard and rubbery I couldn't eat it my wife ate it anyways but it was tough and hard. We ordered the jerk swordfish with pineapple rice and mango salsa I was holding out hope for the main entree. The swordfish came out we were splitting the dish between the two of us. They brought us a second plate to split our own dish and the plate was covered in dried food which we had to wipe off our selves. As I cut into the sword fish it was tough, chewy, and hard. I will give credit to the pineapple rice it was the star of the show honestly it was very tasty the sauce was nice but the seafood was overcooked and it was such a disappointment to spend 80$ and not have a single item that left me wanting to return. My wife ordered an old fashioned it was made with jack Daniel's a spritz of soda water two cherries dropped in with an orange on wthe side of the glass and five watered down ice cubes. We were disappointed to say the least. The service was great we tipped above twenty percent because it's not the servers fault for the way the food was cooked but for a day date out it was a 1 star experience. I wrote this review in hopes that the restaurant can reevaluate the chef who is preparing the food so that others can enjoy their experience here. Considering this is a travel hotspot people expect to experience delicious seafood and fun vacation memories. Unfortunately our experience was a disappointment. Our server was kind polite and attentive and I give her credit for a job well done. But as a consumer reviewing the establishment as a whole your cook is KILLING the experience.

The Crab Trap was so good! Everything had such a nice, fresh flavor, and the swordfish was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. The service was really good too! Our waiter James was friendly and attentive. Such a cute spot with great food. I'll definitely be back!

I love stopping here when I'm i. Amelia Island. Great food, friendly staff and the shrimp is amazing. I got bang bang shrimp with sauce on the side for a quick bite.

We loved it here. They were understaffed, but the one waitress they had was truly impressive. All the food was really good. We had a debate if this was as good as the Salty Pelican and it lost 2-3. It was very close though. The boil and the shrimp and grits were the best.

Crab cakes are delicious. Fish & chips were fantastic. Wine, beer & certain appetizers half off from 3-6. Jody made sure my husband & I were well taken care of. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Definitely our new spot for Happy Hour.

Great food, quick service, great waiter. Enjoyed the guy playing piano. It's a loud atmosphere, but I didn't mind.

We had the low country boil and it was good. The shrimp were over cooked but the sausage was great. The crab legs were just okay. I got a baked potato as a side and it was not very good. Our server was excellent. Very accommodating and knew the menu thoroughly to help us order exactly what we wanted. Additionally there was a pianist who played and sang music the whole time we ate. It made for a fun night.

Exceptional Service That Turned a Mishap into a Great Memory…read moreI recently had an issue with a thoughtful gift certificate my son sent me for The Boat House. In a moment of clumsiness, I accidentally deleted the email and thought it was gone for good. I reached out in desperation, and to my surprise, manager Colin personally stepped in. He contacted corporate right away and made sure the gift certificate was resent to me promptly. That kind of care and follow-through is rare these days, and it speaks volumes about the family-oriented, customer-first culture at The Boat House. It made me even more excited for our next visit. Thank you, Colin, and the whole team -- you've gained a loyal customer and turned what could have been a frustrating situation into one that highlights why The Boathouse stands out. Highly recommend!

We had the Bleu Cheese chips which were really good. They are homemade potato chips bathed in a delicious queso and sprinkled with bleu cheese crumbles. A perfect companion to my prosecco. I took the picture after we ate quite a few of the chips. It's a big portion. I'd definitely like to come back to try some of the other items on the menu.
