Indigo is located in the heart of historic Fernandina Beach. I dined here as part of a bridal shower brunch, so there was a set menu for everyone. The staff members were all very kind and great to be around. The food was good and I would like to come back during a regular day.

I will admit I have high standards when it comes to food. Maybe it was the upbringing from my parents as they are huge boobies or maybe it's because I live in Chicago one of the best culinary destinations in the world. Nevertheless, this was by far the best restaurant that we ate at during our week in Amelia Island. It was so good in fact that we ate there twice within six days. The service was impeccable and you can tell that the staff is very educated on the menu. The inside of the restaurant is a bit lackluster, but they have a wonderful patio outside with heat lamps and lights. We sat outside both times with our dog. While we were there, we tried many different items on the menu. The menu is small, but each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients. We tried the snapper, the red fish, the chicken and the fillet. Again, I come from a steak city, and this fillet was incredibly tender and flavorful. The fish was fresh and had a wonderful sides. The chicken was extremely flavorful and came with perfectly roasted vegetables. We also really enjoyed the market salad, the complementary bread and the butter cake. If you ever find yourself in Amelia Island, this is the restaurant to go to.

Fantastic from start to finish. Special shoutout to our server for going next door to Boathouse to exchange a wine bottle we preferred. Service was 5* along with 5* food! Amanda is a great server!

Quaint and cozy venue with a great location. The menu is Carolina southern meets duck, lamb, and fish. Wine selection is decent. I ordered the yellow tail snapper special with shrimp, collards and rice. I enjoyed it. There were two entrees that were not written on the menu. My friend ordered the duck-med rare. It was cooked medium well. Our server didn't ask if it was cooked as ordered. We didn't send it back. I ordered the tuna tartar as an appetizer. It was good but only two toast points were served with it. It needed at least two additional pieces. Prices were too high for the level of service. We felt rushed. Wish that I could give 3.5 stars.

Absolutely fabulous!! Indigo is the newest incarnation of Le Clos, the French restaurant that recently closed. We tried the Flower Chardonnay, delicious. The fish dishes were superb and the dessert, banana cheesecake, was the perfect ending. We loved sitting outside in the back. The temperature was perfect and the music volume was such that we could hear each other whisper. Service was A++

Trifecta! Food, service and ambiance are all top notch! We decided to come during Amelia Island Restaurant Week, and tried their prix fixe menu. We had additionally added in the escargot with bone marrow and a wonderful pork belly appetizer. First course choice of Caesar or market salad (both delicious), then a scallop dish and frankly the MOST delicious scallop I've ever had. Perfectly seared with a creamy risotto, I'd go back for that dish alone. Next was the duck breast that was executed beautifully. Dessert was a very tasty warm butter cake with ice cream. Our evening made all the better because of our attentive, friendly, professional server, Jordan. When back in the area, I'd love to enjoy again.

The service was slow and only 2 other people were here. The food was pretty good, maybe an 8 out of 10, but for $50 a plate, I won't be back. The outside seating was right next to a shed...not very romantic.

Loved the entire evening- service was warm and personable, Thank You Jordan. Our wine selections for dinner were quite nice by the glass- Rombauer Sauvignon Blanc and Flowers Chardonnay for our salad and appetizer course. Belle Glos Dairyman to accompany the entrees. The quality of food and preparation was fantastic. Dessert was a treat- warm butter cake and cold ice cream with caramel sauce. We usually don't eat dessert- this is a must try !! Thank you to everyone- we highly recommend.

10/10 recommend!! The ambiance was incredible. The food was incredible. The service was incredible. Shout out to Julie--she was very sweet and attentive. Also, we appreciated the way that Julie and Adam handled a specific request for one of our meals. Ended the night with a delicious dessert. Will be back for sure!

I realize restaurants are on a schedule and expect my food to be at a different level. This was not the case here. It was perfect. It is important to note that we came in at 2:30 in the afternoon and were the only customers in the place. Sometimes this means the food would be leftovers from lunch but everything we ate was very fresh. I had the sliced pork. The slices were a quarter inch thick and to big to eat in 1 bite. The pork was fork tender even at that thickness so I did not need a knife. I would say it was THE BEST restaurant sliced pork I have ever had. I asked about a spicy sauce and was told they have something called Big Poppas that stays in the back and she brought me some. It was a really good spicy sauce but not so overwhelming that you couldn't taste the meat. The fries were just fries but they were hit and crispy. I had baked beans. They had really good flavor and chunks of pork mixed in for an added bonus. This was also fresh and hot. My wife had the brisket plate and said the same about her food. She took home more brisket than she ate. It was huge.

Tonight, my sister, my mother, and I were feeling another dinner at Salt Life was due, so we hopped in the car and drove the hour to get there, excited for the meal we were to be consuming soon. We walked in and was greeted by a girl at the register, telling us the host would be with us soon. So, while mom and my sister were checking out the aquarium, I stood there patiently waiting for the host/ess. A gentleman walked in behind me and was immediately greeted by the hostess asking him how many were in his party (he was alone at this point), I turned to the girl at the register and said, "excuse me, she never even acknowledged me". She turned to the hostess and said "they were here waiting". The hostess turned back to her 2 other friends? Work peers? And then led the 3 of us on a tour of the whole dining room area before seating us at a table she could have skipped 45 steps getting to, but whatever. She said "someone will be over to help you". And that was it. The people next to us were getting served, drinks topped off, etc., and the table on the other side as well. (Different waitresses). The table behind us, a party of 6 maybe...getting service. And there we sat. For 10 minutes...nothing. We had put our menus down within 4 minutes of sitting (we come here enough to know what we want) to signal we were ready to order. Nothing. I told my sister this is the payback for speaking up. I told her I'd give them 5 more minutes to at least take a drink order, or we'd be leaving. We waited. Nothing. So we left! How disappointing. We were really looking forward to dinner here, and left with stomachs empty. Now we are on the quest to find the next best place to become regulars at in Fernandina Beach. I can't say anything bad about the food, it's what kept us coming back, but the service we experienced tonight will keep us from coming back. Such a shame!
