Nothing was wrong with the food this time, although in the past I have been served cold food, this time my issue is with the service, I ordered at 925pm and while we were eating the cashier was cleaning up the tables, she was running around the dining area with a spray bottle about 2 to 3 feet above the tables and sparing disinfectant on the tables as she walked from table to table, there were 3 tables with customers in the dining area, and she briskly wiped down the tables. At 945pm when I went to go get a refill on my tea, she had taken them to the back, I asked if there was anymore tea and she said no, that most people don't drink tea, and I said, why didn't you ask! Furthermore if they did not sale much tea, then why do they have 4 different types. I said something to the manager and was not offered anything for my complaint as well as calling the General Manager. The young lady that i complained about was so concerned with getting her cleaning done, but had the time to complain about me to a customer who was dining as she pointed in the direction where we were sitting. Heard a lot about this place so decided to give it a shot. It was okay. I got the 5&5 deal. Tenders were very good! A good hand breaded juiciness to them and loved having a variety of sauces. Don't try the slim sauce! It was terrible--tasted like tomato paste and the bread was just a small piece of toast no flavor, no butter, just bland. I tried this new place in Humble today and was so, so disappointed. The chickin strips were alittle over 2 " long and they were cold . I got muchrooms instead of fries and they had so much grease I had to squeeze the oil out on paper towels plus they were so salty they were inedible. There dips are awful . I ate there twice. The presentation from the outside was clean and neat. There was a greeter that assisted people coming in and she was very nice and helpful. All the staff members had a great attitude. I ate tenders and they were OK. With saying these great things about the restaurant here are the negs. The ranch sauces taste the same, just different colors. One of them are suppose to be spicy and the other is normal. The 2nd time I went to eat there I tried the cayenne chicken sandwich. The sandwich was bland. The chicken had no flavor and there was no cayenne heat again. If this restaurant is from the south, it is not representing the south well with the entrées. As I only had 2 sauce choices I can't judge all the sauces, but the two I had were the house "slim chickens" sauce and spicy bbq. I have to say I enjoyed the spicy bbq much more. The basket looked almost exactly like the pic. Waited about 5-7 mins in the drive thru but the food was fresh, hot, and tasted really good. This time, I got 3 tenders and about 3-4 small pieces that I guess they counted as the other two. No wait time and time at all. As soon as I got to the window it was ready. The fries were good, but the chicken seemed a little cold. I think I got what was leftover. I guess you have to expect them to pawn off the old, cold stuff on drive thru customers.
