Ordered Mac and cheese and fries as sides. The tenders were very good but on the small side, I ate 7 plus some sides so be aware of that. I have been coming to the Parker location since it opened. at first it was good then gradually it declined. Tables not cleaned when employees are standing around visiting with each other. The tenders have become like rubber. I mentioned it the last 2 times I was there. The employee shrugged it off when I mentioned it. Wow, so disappointed. I love the other location out on Tower Rd, but this one in Parker is a disaster. I have now been here three times and will never be back!! The first time, my food was cold. Second time, order was wrong. Third time, I was in a hurry and decided to try the drive thru. First, it took over 20 minutes with only two cars ahead of me. I ordered a chicken club meal with no mayonnaise and an iced tea with a splash of lemonade. When I finally got to the window, she handed me my drink and said here's your club meal. I asked, with no mayo, correct? She looked at the register and said, "uh, yeah". I knew by her hesitation that there would be mayo, and there was....yuck!! Additionally, I got a lemonade with no tea. My husband and I love this place! We are huge fans of chicken restaurants so we were very excited to try this out when it opened. We have dined in once and ordered pick up 3 or 4 times and we've always had a good experience! I'm surprised by some of the mediocre reviews as I much prefer this place over Cane's or Chick-fil-A. We usually order chicken tenders and get a bunch of sauces. They have a huge selection. The Parmesan Garlic and Cayenne Ranch are my favorite! The fries are also great. Always love this place since I tried it when they opened, great food and always clean. Today was special though. One of the employees, Guy, was the nicest man I've had the pleasure of coming in contact with. I walked in after a long bad day at work and didn't want to talk to anyone. This wonderful man started talking with me and after a few seconds I felt special. He talked about how he lived in Hawaii before he lived here and told me a personal story. It was so endearing and was a real interaction it made me feel special. Guy if you see this you are an amazing and wonderful human being who I hope to see again and again. My husband and I were visiting from California and kept passing this place every time we went back to our hotel. We were intrigued by the name and by the amount of people in the drive thru and doing dine in. We decided to try it out and we were definitely not disappointed. Several flavor and sauce options to choose from that are all tasty. We dare to say we like this place better than canes! I want to love this place but it's really inconsistent. Sometimes you'll get a lot of seasoning on your chicken and fries and everything tastes great, sometimes you don't get any At all and it's really bland. Sometimes you'll get green onions on your buffalo Mac and cheese, sometimes you don't, if you order extra sauce you might get the extra sauce, you might get the ones you ordered, you nuggets get random sauces, or you won't get any at all, its always a toss up if you're going to get everything or not. read more

We decided to give it a try after reading many bad reviews. We had an awesome experience, drive through was incredibly quick. We ordered a classic meal , kids meal and strawberry cheesecake jar. After getting home the chicken was tender and juicy, fries were good. Toast was okay nothing special in my opinion. Cheesecake jar was awesome! Can't believe it comes in a real glass gar. Only issue preventing me from giving a 5 star review is I only received 3 pieces of chicken when it should've been 4 pieces in my meal. Ordered through their app yesterday their first opening day I was expecting it to be a hassle since it was there a grand opening but was pleasantly surprised that my order was ready in less than 15 minutes and I ordered for six people so it was a pretty large order and that when I picked it up everything was ready to go and I was in and out super quick and everyone was super friendly I am so happy to have options and sides that aren't just fries and coleslaw even though those are tasty there too! They're bone in wings and chicken strips were delicious will definitely be back! read more

I've been excited for this place to open. I've watched it being built and they finally opened so of course I wanted to give them a try. Loved that the food was hot! You could tell it was made fresh which is always a positive. I ordered both the fried mushrooms and fired pickles, but unfortunately they gave me two orders of fried mushrooms instead. The sauce I ordered was great and I have a feeling their other sauces would be just as delicious! Chicken was a bit dry and the food overall could have been seasoned better. After a solid first visit we wanted to try the chicken and waffle on national waffle day. That was a mistake. I can understand the hiccups of a new store( only a couple weeks old) and I can understand the waffle machine breaking on national waffle day. I can not understand me not getting refunded for chicken and waffles that I never received( they said it would be down 30 minutes and 15 people were ahead of me but I ordered 45 min ahead of when I'd be there) . Rudest service I've had in Parker. The guy at the counter, who conveniently didn't wear a name tag, was a complete jerk!!!!! Almost walked out. Nasty, rude, unpleasant person. After a long day of work travel, arrived in Parker from the airport. We had eaten the new loaded fries at Slim Chickens recently and it just sounded like just what I needed. I called my husband and we agreed-I ordered 2 large chicken bacon loaded fries, 2 buffalo sauces (adding buffalo is next level!), a strawberry dessert and an ice tea. Served was friendly. She handed me the iced tea, dessert and the bag that appeared to have 2 large loaded chicken fires. Imagine 15 minutes later arriving home at 8 pm, starving and looking forward to loaded chicken fries with buffalo but when I open up the fires, they were just that- 2 large fries, NO chicken, NO bacon, NO buffalo sauce. So disappointing. Understanding that errors happen, I attempted to call the store 2x both times I was out on hold, the message saying someone would be with me shortly, then after a few minutes a "goodbye" and click. This is the main reason I am giving this location a low score. I don't expect you to be perfect, but when you mess up just pick up the phone and say I am sorry. Can I get you a few dollars off your next order or just I am sorry and we will try to do better. I don't need a free meal just very frustrating. read more

Gross salt bomb. Mac & cheese salty , fried pickles extremely salty. You would think not to over salt the batter since pickles are already salty! The first few times we went to slim chickens it was great! Perfect order, wonderful food. The last two times however, not so great. Tonight, they completely forgot to change my fries to potato salad and gave me fries and didn't give my boyfriend his extra potato salad because he couldn't just order a large size. We waited in line for a good 20 minutes while the line piled behind us. Nobody came to the window when we pulled up until they had our order ready and still managed to mess it up. We even asked if they had the extra potato salad and the girl said "yep!" There has never been a manager on duty ever and we've come at all times during the day. They were dancing around in the kitchen acting like we weren't sitting there waiting to pay. Well. All the hype and just another poorly mismanaged over priced fast food chicken restaurant. First of all. I paid 27.92 for 5 tenders and 5 wings with fried pickles side and fried mushrooms. I ordered the wings with mango habanero and one side blu cheese and one side ranch. A large 32 oz ice tea. As soon as I got home I opened the ranch sauce. It was 1/2 full. The cashier was quick to tell me I could add more sauces as an additional expense. They under-fill the sauces. The fried pickles were awesome. The only thing we liked. The mango habanero sauce was disgusting. Pure sugar. No heat. The mushrooms were undercooked. Mushy and under fried. They would have been delicious if cooked properly. The tenders were tiny. Totally underwhelmed for the price. Go to Canes if you want great tenders. The wings were just disgusting. A weird aftertaste like they were left out. Undercooked and the skin was chewy and tasted baked. Never will I make that mistake twice. Also. The app will not let you Pre order and than pick up in the drive thru. It doesn't tell you that on the app. I was also really rushed. I missed ordering a chocolate shake because of the lousy app and rushed to order by the staff. Than after rushing me I was asked to wait 10 minutes in the parking lot for my food. Lovely. I was also told I could sub the French fries for fried mushrooms. No one told me at an additional charge of 2.29. Slim chickens is a total rip off. But feel free to see for yourself. Again a picture is left of the ranch sauce. What a rip off. Good luck. I put one star for reasons other than the food. The food is amazing, and tastes just fantastic. The employees are also quite kind, very respectful and are very accommodating. I love eating here, and would definitely go again. The reason for the one star though, is what I saw an employee go through recently. They were crying as they were told to take care of something that broke, and I heard them say something about it being the end of their shift. However, the manager standing nearby didn't seem to care about the emotional or mental state of their employee. This concerns me on what else may be happening behind the counter, when customers aren't present. I could not recommend anyone to work here, despite what any of the managers might say. I'm tempted to contact corporate, but I don't believe it is my place to get into business that isn't mine. However, I hope that someone behind the counter will see this issue solved. read more
