I've eaten here a couple of times and it's a solid spot for a fast meal that has at least some nutritional value! So many options since they let you design your bowl, salad or wrap. Tonight I went with one of their creations, the Edgar Allan Poe salad which is a mix of lettuce and fruit with chicken and walnuts too. My husband got the Annie Oakley wrap and really enjoyed it too. Only been to this particular Mad Greens a couple of times--we used to live much closer to a different store. We've been pleased on our previous visits, but this visit was GREAT. I expected to order a salad with lots of healthful spinach, but was blindsided by the new-to-me menu category of Mac Bowls. How could I possibly resist the Elote Mac Bowl with white cheddar (my British friends tell me that's the real cheddar), southwest chicken topped with cotija cheese, roasted corn, green onions and cilantro chili lime seasoning. It was fabulous, and the regular size was sufficient for leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. My only suggestion would be to serve it at a slightly warmer temperature. This Mad Greens location was my first dining experience, without a mask mandate in months!! I remember June being sooo good to us!! We were shocked that the mask mandate was temporarily lifted in the state of Colorado-- it was almost surreal. I came with my fiancés mother, as we just finished errands at the church!! The weather was gorgeous as always-- I had such perfect customer service from very sweet staff. They were incredibly patient with my new diet transformation/transition and offered up the Buddha Bowl!! The Buddha Bowl came with a wildly delicious Rice Blend, Piri Piri Tofu, Spinach, Red Onions, Pumpkin Seeds, Edamame, Carrots with Citrus Hoisin -OR- Piri Piri Shrimp** +$2!! This Buddha bowl, has the most beautifully prepared Tofu, I've ever seen! It was incredibly flavorful as there was multiple, customizable sauces I've picked. This bowl naturally comes with the Citrus Hoisin, but I enjoy The Ginger Soy and the Port Wine Vinaigrette. My fiancés mother got the Athena Salad, which was a Greek salad!! It included Romaine, House Grilled Chicken, Red Onions, Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, Cucumbers, Feta with Red Wine Vinaigrette!! There are three different sizes: Regular, Big and Wrap. I love Mad Greens but this was the first time enjoying them while in Denver. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Before I came, I looked up their allergen menu so I could ensure my salad was gluten and dairy free. I ordered the don Quixote with shrimp, no cheese, and the spicy sriracha almond vinaigrette and extra mad spice. I appreciate since I could not have the cheese I could substitute another item for it. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and I wasn't impressed. Mostly the salad dressing wasn't tasty and the dressing makes the salad.

If you enjoy raw chicken, then this is the place! The unfortunate thing is, they were unapologetic about it. So I won't be returning again. Which is sad since my family and I were making this a regular place to eat since we are focusing on healthy eating. However I rather my kids not get salmonella. The first time I went to MAD Greens I got this delicious wrap thing called "The Annie Oakley" and I have never been able to bring myself to order anything else. I get cravings for this thing. It's Crazy. To describe it, Imagine a Chipotle burrito but instead of tough steak, way yoo salty pork or chicken the Annie Oakley is filled full of fresh produce, lovely dressing and bacon. I was the only one in the line and right when I was about to order a customer came from behind me and the employee decided to take her order first even though I was in front of her. We order online, and I would say 98% of the time it is accurate, and always ready when they say it will be ready. For those 2% of the times that it is off, they always make up for it, when we leave them a review on their app. Their rewards program is also great! We go go twice a week, and usually end up with a few salad or two from their rewards program. When I do go into the store they have always been responsive and courteous. Thank you to the Mad Greens Team and Management for staying open even while other nearby restaurants had to shut down due to staffing issues. They must be doing something right. read more

Being from San Diego, Tender Greens is always my go-to for a salad and healthy food fix. Obviously, they didn't have that here, so I decided to give MAD Greens a try. The atmosphere is nice and the store is very open. We ordered the Annie Oakley panini, Caesar salad, and the Mark Twain salad. Let me start off by saying the salads were delicious! Great portions and just the right amount of sauce. You can take away or add other ingredients to your salad if you prefer otherwise. What really disappointed me was the panini! The chicken was sooo dry. It has no sauce in it only a ranch on the side and that still didn't help. If they fixed the sandwich and added sauces or made the chicken way less dry, I would definitely give this place 5 stars! read more
