It's taken me almost a year to get to Slim Chickens in Saint Cloud and it was worth the wait! It's located in the old SHOPKO area opposite Cash-Wise.There is a time of parking. I ordered the 3+3 meal.Three wings and three chicken tenders.I have always been a wings guy but their chicken tenders was the star today.My meal came with Texas toast and French fries.You have a choice of two dipping sauces .I went with ranch and honey mustard which was so good it seemed home made. I thought two sauces was generous.My food came out hot and fresh! I chose my wings to be spun in a sweet chili sauce which was okay.It was my first time eating here so next time I'm definitely going with something else. The atmosphere is fast-casual dining.The music wasn't loud and they had a couple TV's...one with sports on and another with news. I don't think another chicken tender spot was needed in town but I think these guys may out last the other guys.Ill be back! read more

My wife and child got the Mac and cheese with chicken tenders. We all enjoyed our food and thought it was reasonably priced. The only major complaint was the cleanliness. They don't wipe down the table in between customers. This left sticky stuff and crumbs on the tables. I would recommend that they fix this issue as it's not really appealing if you want somebody to come back and sit inside. read more

Came in for dinner, it was quiet and the service was fast. I ordered the chicks meal (3 tenders, toast and fries) and got the tenders in garlic Parmesan. I expected it to be a rub but it was shaken in the sauce and it was just overpowering. It could be because I expected it to be like wingstop (seasoning not sauce) the toast and fries were good! My daughter liked the Mac and cheese and the ranch is good, but I don't think this place will be something I crave. Great new chicken place in town. There are some fun side items like fried okra and fried mushrooms. The jar desert is a fun way to end the meal. I am glad I can get chicken and waffles locally now, great combo of sweet and savory. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Don't bother with eating at this place anymore as you'll be ripped off!! The chicken tenders have gotten to be 1/3 their original size when the place opened up!! They no longer carry coleslaw! Their prices have skyrocketed on their baskets and their sandwiches themselves out of business!! It's not worth it anymore. We were very disappointed eating here today, and we will not be returning! We should've known better when we pulled up today at 1 o'clock when the parking lot was empty! like I said, we will not be returning! Would rate 0 stars if I could. Every food item in my order except the cheesecake was strangely soggy. They charge you $0.75 for no drink. How does that even make sense? Especially when they didn't even give me the drink I paid full price for, I drove away without it. They didn't get any sauces right and food for two people was nearly $40.00. This is the last fast food St Cloud needed. You're much better off going to Canes, KFC, or literally anywhere else. read more

Unfortunately, there was nothing special about Slim chickens. I got the buffalo chicken wrap, requested a water with my meal, and ranch dipping sauce. I was the only person in the drive-through, none of the people could remember my name after first asking for it, and my meal didn't come with the ranch I requested and was on the receipt. Tried their tenders meal and wings meal. I live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant. The "toast" was soggy. The fries were soggy. No dipping sauce was included for the wings, although blue cheese was requested and is on the receipt. The wings are ok, the tenders are ok as well. I recommend ordering just wings or tenders and skip the combo. While the ice in the drink is great (chewing) ice, they fill the cup to the top so barely any drink in the cup. read more

Visited on June 1st and had a great experience. Brad and Tanesha had great attitudes and you could tell they enjoy their jobs - all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The place was very clean from the floors to the tables to the bathroom. Food was good and we will return. read more
