The blue slime we just went a few weeks ago and it grew mold the pink one we made back in August
    Caity G.

The pink slime we made back in August and the blue we made on September 26th and it has grown mold for some reason! Update 11/11/25 We came in with the moldy slime and the worker Alana I believe was her name was super nice about it. She was super helpful. I felt so bad when we came in it was really busy. It was calm for a little bit then got really busy again. Alana was the only one working I felt so bad she was doing her best to accommodate everyone as fast as she could. Some customers in there were not being patient with her. Alana was amazing! It was just a little wild she was the only one working. Anyways thank you Alana for the amazing customer service. Moving up my stars from 2 to 5!

I brought my son to Slime Kitchen for his birthday, and it turned out to be such a sweet experience for both of us. For $30, kids get to create their own slime from start to finish, and it truly feels special and hands on. He loved choosing everything himself, from the texture to the color, plus a delicious scent and fun mix ins, all finished with a sprinkle of glitter on top. He chose a pink slime with a smore scent. The entire process was quick, about ten minutes, but packed with excitement and smiles, and he was so proud of what he made. We went on a weekday, so it was calm and uncrowded, which made it even more enjoyable. Since it's inside a mall, I can imagine weekends being much busier, but overall it was a memorable visit.

It was great. My favorite part was when we got to play with the slime and add extras to it. Keep your slime in the bucket. I took mine out for a picture and got it in my aunt's hair. They were nice and helped her get the slime out. By Zack

I brought my two daughters to slime kitchen. My oldest daughter has autism. She made her slime, but the smell that they put in made her feel sick and the texture made her very uncomfortable because she's got a lot of sensory issues. I explained the situation to everyone there and asked kindly if maybe they could let her start again since it's literally a dollars worth of glue and they said no I would have to pay $30 and get another one even when I explained that she has autism and this wasn't her fault they didn't seem to care they didn't offer us any sort of solution they just said I'd have to spend 100% of what it cost again. I understand their company policy, but my daughter has special needs and this was one of the situations where it would've been really nice to feel supported and not left out. Shame on you guys.

Great experience for slime lovers! Such a fun and creative spot for anyone who enjoys making or playing with slime. The activities were engaging, the staff was helpful, and the kids had the best time experimenting with textures and colors. Highly recommend for a hands-on, sensory experience!

Now that phase 1 of the museum is complete and open we are amazed. A beautiful little outdoor theater, a play cafe and farmer's market, a real greenhouse and a Channel Islands themed playground are just a few highlights of the outdoor experience. The indoor has a nice little classroom and shop area and a really cool maker space including a cardboard "chomp saw" and lots of crafts! The staff are really kind, patient, polite, and helpful. They help transform this from a fun space into an inviting experience. You can tell how passionate they are about family learning. The museum is already amazing and a fitting successor to the library that used to be on the site. We can't wait for phase 2, when the rest of the indoor space is renovated and available!

It was easy to find in Camarillo and there's a lot of parking in a private lot. Entrance is a bit awkward because you go in hallway to check in at a circular booth to get your tickets scanned (pre-purchased online) and a wristband for the day. All the employees are very nice and helped answered any questions. We arrived on a Sunday at 12:30pm (opens at 12pm on Sundays) so it was surprisingly crowded and really hot. We started off in the outdoor area and I applied sunscreen on my toddler since there wasn't too much shade in the outdoor play area. It was mostly a lot of older children and kids compared to my little one. I appreciate the different play stations so it seemed like there's a variety of activities for everyone. Some of the older kids loved sliding down the hill with cardboard but that activity can be done at the SB Zoo too, which also has a hill. My daughter loved the fox puppet so it was adorable to see her play with the campfire station and other kids + parents joining in. We also checked out the indoor room but it was super crowded and I was bumping into parents and the small lego pieces were not age appropriate for her. The smaller outdoor room from that indoor room had huge building blocks that my daughter could play but with the sun shining strong that it was just too hot to play and there was minimal shade. I think there's a lot of potential here when my daughter is older for imaginative and social play but she's too little for the museum. The membership is $150 for 2 adults + 1 toddler for future reference and you can apply visit's admission to upgrade to a membership. I like how they have a tables/chair party set up for possibly a birthday party event so that's great they can host. Interested to see how this place does in the near future!

This zoo is so that college students who are studying animal related programs can gain experience meaning they don't have all the animals you see at typical zoos but there were still some really cool ones! And because students are learning they have animals roaming around with them so you could potentially see a beaver or a hawk up close and in demonstration. I honestly think I preferred it here as it was slow paced and not very crowded. I don't believe they had any food here so bring snacks and their gift shop was closed. I don't know if that was only on the day we went or indefinitely. There's plenty of parking - I know it says "permit only" but I think that applies to weekdays only when classes are in session.

Their own website clearly states to arrive at 6pm, with no mention of calling ahead, no reservation system, no waitlist. So that's exactly what we did. We arrived on time only to be turned away because the spots were already gone. Apparently there's an unwritten rule that regulars know to call ahead, information conveniently absent from their website. When we asked the general manager, Cameron, why this wasn't communicated anywhere publicly, her repeated response was essentially "we're popular", offered with the self-satisfaction of someone who sees no problem with the situation. No apology. No empathy. No acknowledgment that their website is actively misleading customers. Just a shrug and a reminder that this is "how you learn for next time." My son was in tears. What's most frustrating isn't the miscommunication, it's the attitude. A good manager finds a way to soften the blow, acknowledge the failure, and make a family feel heard. Cameron did none of that. When I pointed out that if calling ahead is policy, it should be stated publicly, she had no real answer, just more deflection about how popular they are. K1 may be too busy to care about losing one family's business, but we had been planning a birthday party there. That won't be happening.
