Worst botox experience in 20 years. I explicitly told the aesthetician that what has worked for me in the past is to hit the brow region and a V shape around the glabella area. She insisted on doing my hairline. I tried to push back because I knew I wasn't moving any muscles in my hairline, but she said if it didn't work, I could come back for free and she'd touch it up. So, 3 weeks later, it didn't work. I came back. (Btw, I love taking time out of my day and driving 10 miles so I can make up for someone else's error.) She gave me 6 measly units, which still didn't work, because she wasted however many units previously on my hair line. I don't like spending hundreds of dollars on something that fails to work. Even a YouTube tutorial will show that the V area and upper brow are where you treat the glabella. In 20 years, I had only gotten 20-26 units, once a year, because I work on a computer all day and furrow my brows. At this place, I got 36. She tried to say I'd need 60 units and that it simply won't go away at my age. All bullshit. It goes away, when placed in the correct areas. Now, I have to spend hundreds more somewhere else. This was my 4th co2 laser. I moved & was looking for a new place. I saw them on groupon but decided to go direct instead. I know groupon takes a cut & was being respectful to the business. I called & spoke to "Danya" I ask her detailed questions about her co2 service. I made sure it was an ablative laser, I explained this is my 4th and what my expectations were. Some places will outright say they only do a "light" laser & I wouldn't go there and thats why I called first. Well, I spent $800 & it did nothing. Pink at best! the amount of medical forms they make you fill out & sign would make you think you were having a surgery. Laughable! they hound you with their cancellation fee if you dont show but hey I get it if its a job done right. I told them the very next day that this is not what I paid for. Then they said well, you may need a "series" Really" Ive NEVER had a DR tell me you need a "series" nor did you mention that BEFORE I booked when I told you my expectations. Done right its once & done and thats why I called and ask VERY specific questions in ADVANCE. I have paid much less and had it done "correctly"This has NEVER happened in the past. Dont waste your money!! The below is Pics of when it was done "right bleeding" at a plastic surgeon and what $800 gave me at this place. Im really furious because I liked the people but any DR would laugh at this laser. I even questioned the tech before she started & said her laser was very different than what ive had. She played it off. This clinic needs to be honest & say it's a "light laser" at best and then there wont be misunderstandings but for me to call ahead and ask direct questions about what I was paying for and get this.....Its despicable!! read more

I had such a great experience coming here after not getting any work done for over a year due to pregnancy. The space itself was quit , clean , and offered parking out front which is great for any location in P.B. Amanda was so kind and knowledgeable and was accommodating to all my requests. Basically anything I said " I was this line gone " she fixed! At my regular clinic, 90 units of Dysport always deliver incredible, consistent results. Here? It's like they injected me with saline. After digging through their reviews, I realized this isn't a one-off. There's a pattern of shady, fraudulent behavior -- people pay for a premium product and don't get what they're promised. Biggest scam! I'm humiliating myself in public with these reviews but this is my second time getting scammed from Botox off of Groupon. The first time was from your caring doctor in La Jolla, but this was hands down way worse! First photo is two weeks after, second is with no lifting, seriously visible lines, and the third is before Botox. Literally zero difference and got 20 units of Botox just in the forehead, not globella. I usually go to Synerchi and 20 units just in the forehead completely freezes me. I was super skeptical to begin with and Destiny was the one who helped me and I insisted she mix it up in front of me, to be honest, I have no idea what that's supposed to be. I don't know how the United States allows these types of scams and I would never go back because who knows what they are actually injecting you with. The biggest disappointment, I feel so taken advantage of, and I hope this helps others. I went in to get PDO threads because the procedure promised to "instantly lift" the nasolabial folds. I have moderate folds so I wasn't expecting a miracle, but there were zero results. I was given 40 units of botox. I waited two weeks with no change. I told the owner I did not think they used botox as I have always done 40 units. He was very offenend. He said he would inject me with another 40 units free of charge. I said I did not feel comfortable with that and wanted to see a license to see if he was a MD. He said he was but would not show his license. He asked what I did and I said I was in the coronary division at my company and he did not know what that meant. That is your you arteries that surround the heart. How can you be a doctor and not know what coronary means? Aganist my better judgement I agreed to another 40units free of charge. I waited two weeks with no change. We agreed if it not work he would refund me. I called today and he said he would not refund me but would give me ANOTHER 40 units.
