5 stars as a non-rollercoaster person. I was actually quite terrified of this ride, and as I type, having survived, I can look back now fondly and say it was so much fun, so worth any wait, and a thrill that is perfect for people who are not into coasters. We rope-dropped this one and ran straight for the queue. Even with early entry and running we still waited just over 30 minutes as the first ride of the day. This was our first day on the trip so first time really taking inthe details, and the sights and sounds. This is one of my favorite vingettes, they really thought of every detail, so if you enjoy the attention to detail of these rides waiting in line is fun, as there is is always something to look at. The ride itself is about 3 minutes, and starts tame with some twists and turns, then you get the GO GO GO part and zoom into some big hills, lots of screams, I like the slinky part, and how the coaster moves. Every from 5-70yo enjoyed the ride and it was a top 5 of the whole trip. I do highly recommend lightning lanes for this if you dont have early entry. The nice part was the because we got in and this was done so early, there were no lines for other rides near by like alien saucers and stars wars, which you walk through. Making it a great ride to start the day.

At least we knew we'd wait a looooonnng time!

Wow! Now we know why this ride has a wait time of 45 minutes or more. It is a terrific starter roller coaster for any age. And for those who love roller coasters, it's an incredible experience. We loved it!!

A cute and simple ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Located in toy story land this is thee ride to go on. They do have others but if you're a coaster fan, look no more! It's a quick ride with some nice drops, one of which is super steep and if you're in the back of the car, hang on! I absolutely love the theming of the ride and queue, all of which makes it feel like I was shrunk down to the size of a toy! The cast members loading the slinky dog you hop on are extremely friendly and very quick at their job, making sure I don't wait too long to enjoy myself! The ride itself is relatively short so it definitely loses a star because of that in my opinion. The short ride mixed with the insanely long waits, it doesn't seem like an even trade off for this ride. Overall an absolutely great themed ride and a heck of a fun time, even if it is a little short. A must do if you're only here for a day!

Ambiance (5/5): We came to this ride immediately as park opened and used our Genie+ booking. The ambiance was cool and there was many Toy Story posters and decorations. The ride looks like it'd be accomodating to young people just getting into roller coasters and looking for thrills. Intensity (Medium): Thought it'd be faster but it's relatively mild. Regardless still a fun ride. Fun (5/5): We immediately booked this ride with a Genie+ lightning booking. It was a fun rollercoaster that's not too intense but has good speeds. I liked the part where it goes up and down repeatedly short amounts that makes it look like a slingky. Some speed boost parts were awesome as well. Overall a nice refreshing ride.

One of the best rides at Hollywood Studios! We had a ball. I didn't have super high expectations because Disney isn't known for a lot of thrill rides but they are getting there! Slinky Dog is a blast! I was laughing all the way! I am plus size and was having some knee issues and I was able to get on and off without issue. I sat next to a stranger because my party had an odd amount of people and luckily there was enough space where I didn't feel super cramped! Thank you Disney! I would totally ride this again and again!!!

This attraction is great for kids who aren't quite ready for the intense adrenaline of bigger thrill coasters. It's a straightforward ride with gentle turns and a few small bumps to mimic the slinky sensation. However, those little bumps make it less ideal for taller riders. Being pretty tall myself, I anticipated some discomfort, but it actually felt like I was getting whiplash during the ride. While it was still a fun experience, I probably wouldn't ride it again out of concern for the whiplash. The line is a bit long as well, but that is to be expected in WDW.

Really fun, but please do not wait more than an hour for this ride! I would recommend either rope dropping this ride or consider getting Genie+. For us, Genie+ was COMPLETELY worth the money. We used Genie + and booked Slinky Dog as our first lightening lane for the day. Even when booking the slot at 7am the window wasn't until around 11am. When we checked in for our lightening lane we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes before we were on the ride. Happy Dashing!

the best ride at hs. it is a little fast with a few drops. gets long at early entry so head here first or you will have 60+ wait later in the day.

Slinky Dog Dash is located in Toy Story Land in Disney World's Hollywood Studios. This was a fun ride that felt like a traditional rollercoaster ride for me with it being out in the open which I liked. It was fun at night with all the nights.

    Danielle V.

Very cool ride for children and adults. It is a mini roller coaster so it's perfect for little kids. I wouldn't wait more than an hour though cause the ride goes by fast. While waiting in line the theming is okay but other rides are better. It was a good ride but not my favorite!

If your staying on resort and get to get in early, be sure you dash to this ride first thing! When we got there, with the early time entrance, it was a 70 min wait. The ride is a quick great coaster for kids of all ages. It is fast with twists, turns, ups and downs and lots of speed but it does not loop or have any huge drops so it is perfect for all in your party. However when we were done the wait had gone up to almost 2 hrs!!! Don't miss this one but get here fast and early.

Disney's take on a traditional small roller coaster (with no loops). Situated in Toyland and adorned with Toy Story characters, this is one of the faster thrill rides at Disney Hollywood Studios. As a roller coaster, it speeds and banks enough to get your heart pumping. The extra attention to aesthetic details sets this ride above others of its kind (I.e. Six Flags)

This ride has the longest line in the park. You must arrive early to try to beat the lines, our wait time was about 1hr and for the type of ride it is, not worth it in my opinion. The ride height is great as my 3 year old was able to ride it but completely freaked out. Overall it's am appealing ride for kids but as for the experience it wasn't all that great in my opinion.

Hubby and I split everything so we wouldn't have to worry about filling up because of course they have the best dinner spots here too and we had dinner reservations with our family. The sushi doughnut was my favorite of the Arts festival. I legit should've went back and gotten another. I also remember loving the idea of the deconstructed strawberry cheesecake and enjoying the fun of eating it. Hubby thought it was weird but it was so unique and fun I loved it. We tried a bunch of stuff for the Holiday 2025 one and I liked the food well enough but didn't find anything that really wowed me. The Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate Peppermint Mousse was fun because of the liquid nitrogen but the flavor was just ok. I really didn't like the drinks because most of them were heavy on the liquor and light on the flavor. We actually threw the Horchata Margarita away after only a few sips. Giant game pieces, oversized footprints, building blocks used as architecture, and Christmas lights strung overhead as decoration all reinforced the scale in a way that rewarded me for actually looking around rather than just moving from ride to ride. Slinky Dog Dash is the anchor attraction and delivered as a family coaster that works for a wide range of ages. It is smooth, fast enough to feel exciting, and the Toy Story theming throughout the track layout is well integrated. Wait times regularly stretch past an hour, so prioritizing it early in the day or using Lightning Lane is the practical move. Toy Story Mania is an interactive 4D shooting game that holds up across multiple rides and was genuinely competitive and fun for my group. Alien Swirling Saucers is the gentler option that skews younger, but it is an easy yes for anyone who does not mind spinning. Woody's Lunch Box is worth building a meal or snack stop around. The totchos and grilled cheese are the items that keep coming up for good reason, and the Lunch Box Tarts are worth grabbing for dessert if I want something to eat while I keep moving through the land. The one consistent practical note is that the area has very little shade and gets genuinely hot during the middle of the day. Coming in during the early morning or staying into the evening is the right call. At night the land takes on a different quality with the lighting, and it is worth lingering in if my park day extends into the evening hours.
