The food was delicious! The eggplant rollatini dinner was fabulous. The sauce was such a great compliment. The pizza caprese was good with a great combination of cheese that was the perfect touch. We choose to seat outside as the atmosphere and the people was just such a great vibe. It seems like they were under staff as the place was definitely packed and the servers could not keep up with providing adequate attention. Will be willing to come back and give it a second shot another day just to see if they improve in service but other than that, it was a great experience.

I'll start by saying the outdoor dining in the warm months is so fun! You're in the downtown scene, close to the lake and in walking distance to other shops and restaurants. The food is great. They have their famous pinsas as well as a nice variety of other foods. Drinks are great. All at a reasonable price. Great for family, friends, dates.

vodka chicken parm

The vodka chicken parm was SOOO good!! Never had a bad meal there. Dining inside and outside!

4/27/2025 - clean restaurant

Lunch for 4 (2 kids included) on 4/27/2025 + clean restaurant + delicious food + food came out quickly + pinsas (similar to pizza) were the star of the show + pasta, calamari, ad burger we ordered were delish, too! We will be back!

Bacon & egg burger with black beans patty

This is a favorite when walking downtown because I absolutely love their black bean patty and they let you swap it for any beef patty burger they have on the menu. The service is always great. Our waitress was fun, cheerful, attentive and the kitchen got our food out quickly. My wife and daughter both loved their meals too! Ambiance is always chill, like a lounge almost. They have a full bar and outdoor seating too

Pear martini- excellent!

I went here for the first time based off of other yelp reviews. This place did not disappoint. I was also pleasantly surprised to see they had happy hour Monday through Thursday. The waitress Halema was very nice and attentive. The fried ravioli for $6 for happy hour was fantastic! The caprice pinsa (pizza) and also the meat lover pinsa were both very good. The pear martini and the pomegranate martini were both excellent and an ample pour (at $6 for happy hour too). The only issue is the bees outside were annoying but the inside was nice. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area!

Pub burger and wings (sauces on the side)

What a fantastic little hidden gem! My martini was a delicious full martini! No skimping! Their wings are top rated! Best we've ever had! (We asked for 3 sauces in the side). The burger (medium- with a bit of pink) was delicious! The fries could have been a bit more well done, but that might just be us. The price was very fair! Our waitress, Halima, was amazingly attentive! Loved the ambiance too!

Classic mojito

I'm a sucker for an anchor bar, and this casual eatery in Kenosha delivered a good dining experience. With great outdoor seating, a few creative cocktails, and decent bar food, our expectations were met. Service was good, and plenty of food was had by all. Order the onion rings as soon as you can while you peruse the rest of the menu.

Delicious food, the best Mojito I've ever had, fast friendly service. Definitely worth stopping in.

Grilled Salmon Salad
Heather W.

We came in looking for brunch and ended up ordering two salads. The rib-eye Salad and the Salmon salad. The salmon itself was amazing. My husband ended up liking mine better, but his rib-eye was cooked to perfection. We were both obsessed with the blue cheese on his salad. We came in a couple weeks prior, late night, the place was hopping. The staff was doing their hardest to keep up. All the while the air conditioning had broken down. They were amazing but we felt like that wasn't the time to go in for a full meal. We are so glad we came back to try it again. The service and staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful. We had mimosas with our meal. We will definitely be back for more.

Friendly staff. I brought my dog and she was treated respectfully. Food was delicious and plentiful. I had tons to take home for later.

Is it 18+?

It is a restaurant/bar, kids can eat at tables but I wouldn't bring them in the evening or late

The food was outstanding…read moreand the staff somehow managed to be both wildly efficient and genuinely warm, like they actually enjoy being there. I ordered the half garbage plate with sausage and bacon. Pro tip: ask the difference between the half and the whole before you commit. The half comes with three eggs. The whole comes with five. Five. I chose wisely. Oh and don't forget the homemade bread smothered in butter! It's clearly a neighborhood staple. People were greeting each other by name, swapping stories across tables, and operating like they've been meeting there every Saturday since 1974. Thankfully, they extend that same friendliness to random out-of-towners who just wandered in hungry. The vibe is energetic and communal, the kind of place where conversations overlap and nobody seems to mind. It has a modern, eclectic feel, but there's also a subtle time-machine quality to it. Like you stepped into the 1960s, just with better coffee and fewer ashtrays. Perfect blend of nostalgic and now.

If you're a snobby person or someone with tons of food allergies don't come here. They are irrelevant in a very good way. I would stick to the basics here. My friend got the cheeseburger with fries and it was perfect. They have fresh meat, no frozen patties. I got the half order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and it was perfect diner style food. The portions are huge so a half order was way more than enough. My friend had the roast beef omelette and I wouldn't recommend it because the beef was in chunks and was full of gristle. However, everything else was terrific. I didn't have the garbage plate because the portion was huge but it's on my list for next time. Maybe I'll split it with someone because you need to come hungry. Prices are very reasonable but it's cash only.

If you live up North, in the Northern suburbs, you realize that you have a great advantage in that,…read moreyou can shop and eat around Old Orchard or you can drive into the city and enjoy downtown or a neighborhood spot. However, you can also drive North, into Wisconsin, which is just 40 minutes North. We like to shop at Pleasant Prairie Outlet and after shopping for about five (5) hours, you will get really hungry. Hence, we almost always visit Tenuta's because there isn't quite anything like it by me. But that's a different review... I say all that to say, after getting Italian meatballs, cookies, and Cannolis from Tenuta's, you will immediately notice Ron's Place, right across the street!! They have a local and dedicated following. Yes, you will see Green Bay Packers decorations and people in Packers clothing, gasp!! But!! Their burgers are incredible and so are the cheese curds. They are also known for their Long Island teas but it's kinda early for me when I come here. Check out my pics - I always get the cheese curds, chicken strips, I've switched it up from time to time with my burger selection. Today, we got the extreme burger and it's definitely shareable, it's a gigantic double patty cheeseburger (I selected American cheese). Great service, cool & local Vibes, diners are usually talking shop, the people sitting next to you will be catching up and talkin about Jack and Diane. You can look directly into the open kitchen and see them preparing the great plates of food. Look at the pics on the wall and you will see a pic of McMahon in Packer uniform - the Packers won the Super Bowl that year...sigh...

We were visiting the Kenosha area and we wanted to try out something local. It's a pretty small place. Maybe about 10 tables and a full bar, which seemed to represent 1/3 of the inside dining area. Yes, it has the supper-club feel with all the wood and warm lights (no fireplace though, but there couldn't be enough room for that). We got prime rib and some of the group added on the crab legs. The steaks look mighty and great, but I think on the overdone side. The crab legs were very nice, considering the upgrade cost was very slight. I think the general prices overall were better than not. So... order your steaks a little (or a lot) rarer than you think. The service was super nice though, very accommodating to us. We were in a huge rush (not the servers fault), so I wonder how it'd be if I spent a more leisurely time here.
