Holy cow did we get lucky finding this place! En route from Ohio to NY, a valve stem broke on my Class C motorhome. Not only did they fix it the very next day (it was after closing when it happened) but they ran an extension cord out so we could hook up and save $$ on a hotel! They quoted me a price of $194.00 per P235 50/R17. Then they installed P235 60/R17 tires and charged me for the P235 50/R17 tires. In other words, they want me to think ALL their tires have SAME price? I priced those P235 50/R17 tires at their competitors and found SLOATS to be way over their competition's prices. Apparently, the P235 50/R17 would not fit my rim. My original tires were P225 65/R17. I would think that they knew the P235 50/R17 would not fit. So why didn't they quote me for a tire that would fit? To add insult to injury, they gave me $5.00 per tire discount because I am a VETERAN. After over-charging me $280.00, I guess they could afford my military discount. Golly gee, how nice of them. If they had any HONOR they would admit their error and refund me the price difference between P235 60/R17 and P235 50/R17. Right? Like that will ever happen. Sloats Tire has no ethics. They have my money. They can't spend ethics. I will be sure to tell everyone that will listen, about the service I received at Sloats Tire and Wheel off Clinton St Road. Take my advice and learn from my mistake of trusting the theives at Sloats Tire and Wheel, go to any of their competion and receive a lower price and service from people that don't lie. Never ever accept a price quote from just one merchant. You must check around. If they won't give a free price quote, that is a red-flag telling you to grab your wallet and run. After disputing the charge to my Tonawanda Valley Federal Credit Union VISA card, they completely dropped the ball and after more nthan two months waiting for them to follow the standard protocol (issue a credit for the purchase on my account; notify merchant of the dispute; review documentation; make a decision) they told me to negotiate wit the merchant. If they did their job, I would be able to talk to a merchant that had motivation to talk instead of a merchant that had my money and saw no reason to refund anything. If you have a credit card administered by PSCU out of Florida (you know them by their post office box addresses and no street address) with customer service calls putting you on hold for over 30 minutes. Just another one of life's lesson that needs to be experienced first hand. read more

The people are very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are good. They are busy so it may take a day or two to get your tires installed. But if you need a tire repair to get you back on the road they will squeeze it in. read more

If you need tires and don't mind the trip out to Batavia - this is the spot to go. I have purchased all different types of tires from these guys (off road for my truck, snow tires for cars, tires for my mustang, etc) and they always are on point with their prices. They also are extremely helpful if you have no idea what you are looking for. If they don't have what you need, they can get it tomorrow. Its always busy, but if you need something done quickly they almost always can squeeze you in within reason, but they can always get it done the next day. read more
