If you want to waste your entire day at this location to get an inspection done, be my guest. From…read morearrival to departure, to try to get an inspection sticker took 45 minutes. Now, this would have been fine if I was notified ahead of time over the phone that there was this long of a wait, but that was not the case. On top of that, they are extremely nit-picky when it comes to inspection stickers. For example, I have clear lenses for my blinkers & they give off a tan look. I was advised that the front blinker lights need to be amber & not tan. I guess my blinker lights weren't the correct hue for their liking. I mean from my perspective, if the blinkers work, great. Why are you requesting to replace something that isn't broken. Also, there were two bay's & the other bay was being occupied by an employee's vehicle, WHAT? Additionally, for this location if someone isn't going to pass their inspection for whatever the reason maybe, provide the customer an estimate for what it would cost to fix/replace said items to allow for a passed inspection. Therefore, by doing that the customer can consider this estimate of what needs to be done if it is within reason & applicable to the inspection, & consider opting into getting it done while they are still there. Rather than sending the customer off & say, get it fixed at wherever you get work done on your vehicle. Not good business practices at all. But again, this would stress upon "within reason", considering the fact that I was told that my brake fluid was low & there was a leak that needed to be located, which wouldn't allow for me to pass inspection. Interestingly enough I went to a different shop the next day to get an oil change & brought up the brake fluid comment from the day prior for the inspection attempt. I was told "that isn't even a part of an inspection". Now, I do appreciate the fact that they noticed that but if its not a part of the inspection it would be wise to just mention it to the customer to refill it, rather than say you won't pass inspection. Customer beware, this shop will bring things up to you that you never went there for. Which is probably related to trying to get you to have more work done here. Not necessary if someone is going there for something simple. What is the most interesting part of all this, would be the fact that I went to another shop to get an inspection & passed.

I left to do a few errands only to have the power steering go on my return trip home. I thought if I phoned AAA they would definitely come and end up towing the car - leaving me stranded and of all times it was the holiday .. So I thought, just try to get home. If it goes completely at least you will be closer. So I proceeded to drive VERY slowly without taking any turns .... Try that sometime! Haha I got back safely but was unsuccessful parking it... Anyone who saw it would definitely think I'd had some type of liquid lunch ... Tuesday morning I phoned the closest repair shop to me - which is Main St Auto..it's very close but with my health being what it is now too far for me to walk. Rami asked if I could get the car there but not to worry - he would help me get back home. How kind is that! With all the muscle I've got I managed to get the into his parking area. He explained he would go over it and call me. He was truthful in that the actual work probably wouldn't be completed the same day... I saw how busy they are and definitely understood. I was just grateful I could get the car there & the opportunity to have what was wrong repaired. And just as he said, he gave me a ride back to where I live..... He phoned later in the day with the diagnosis along with an estimate of the cost. I felt the price quoted was definitely fair. So yesterday late morning he called and said it was all set. Then asked if I needed a ride to pick it up - I did. He was here within 10 minutes with my car. We drove back, settled the bill and I drove back home - steering perfectly. This was an awesome experience! I was a new & desperate customer and Rami was so kind. He definitely went out of his way to help me and the work done so well. From now on I will be bringing my car there for service !!!

Mini Cooper and RAV4 Work I have had done at Allman's : Brakes, welding, exhaust, tires, electrical, fuel issues, lights, pumps, oil, coolant, and transmission fluid changes and I'm sure there was more I don't remember. They are honest, fair, and competent. These boys know cars and will always help you out. I'd give six stars if I could. They will take photos of damage or issue areas before repair and text it to you before fixing if you require it. They have text reminders and emails to keep you up on your car before during and after repairs. They have after hour key drop off. When you get your oil changes they do a thorough inspection to find all of the issues you may have and rate them in stop light fashion( super helpful for budget planning your repairs) My family would be in bad shape without these guys. I had a recent experience where I brought my car in that could have been repaired (that's how they get paid), they put it up on the lift and said "it's time" knowing I dumped a lot into it in the last year and this repair would require a lot more. They could have said yeah fix it and out goes my cash, but they didn't they were honest and legit. They would have done the repairs no problem if I had asked but they did what they thought was best for me. It was an aging SUV with 170k and things were getting grim underneath. I would not consider going elsewhere. They take my calls and fix my stuff A freaking plus BOOM!

Another gentleman behind the computer identified himself as the owner and said he was there for 30 years. I told him the only reason I was there is because I found him on yelp and your customers love you. He smiled, and said "hey, we try to do our best. You know it's a car business it's tough, but we try to do our best."! I think that's all we can expect is someone's best. The salesman was a very nice gentleman who let us look at the car without interrupting or acting condescending, etc. He recognized I had a small amount of mechanical aptitude and did not belittle me or put me down because I was trying to do a little due diligence on count of my 17 1/2 year-old son. We took the vehicle for a ride and came back. We said we had to take a drive and talk about it. He said, "why don't you take this car for another drive and talk about it"? which I thought was pretty great. We took another drive in the car and we came back and made a great deal! I didn't beat them up and they did not beat me up. It felt really good to do a good old-fashioned deal. The handshake , well it was great, I know that sounds corny and a little ridiculous but if you come here, I'm sure you'll experience the same thing. We haven't picked the car up yet. Just did the deal, but I'll certainly check back and let you all know.

I spoke with Tony on a Friday and he was able to fit me in on a Wednesday of the following week (Memorial Day weekend) and the car was completed early Thursday morning. Tony was extremely knowledgable going over each component and the steps they would take to install/repair while keeping my bottom line in mind. Tony even dissuaded me from respraying the front bumper cover (didn't need it anyway since the winglets would cover the small rock chips and the labor cost to dismantle and reinstall would be high) as well as not going the route of replacing/painting a totally new trim piece. I am ridiculously meticulous with my car and Coastal truly exceeded all my expectations especially on their workmanship, professionalism, communication and overall cost. I expected the job to be a lot more $$ for what they accomplished - the price was lower than the estimate. Tony is a straight shooter and his honesty and transparency is refreshing. I did not have any paint work or blending done but in my mind, I would not hesitate at all to return to Coastal for any of my vehicle's bodywork/painting or custom installation needs. Thank you guys for making my S60R look fantastic!!
