What an awesome locals place. We stopped by on a Friday night before the "regulars" come in. A friend who work in the theme parks mentioned this place. It's past most of the theme parks life areas so you are eating a a locals place. Food: * Overall - lots of things to choose from * Nachos - large portion of nachos smothered in cheese - this would have been enough for both of us for dinner just by itself * Tacos - the tacos were good we tried both the beef and steak (slight rockstar) - both were plentiful and delicious * Beans and Rice - seasoned perfectly - I've not had anything close anywhere else - they were worth the drive * Drinks - Large margaritas that are flavorful The atmosphere is a bit like a dive bar. There is lots of seating and even an outdoor patio. If you sit near the front door you will see a couple of the local cats peaking in on you. There are TVs for sports fans and the staff was very attentive. We had multiple people check on us multiple times. STP is on my list for when we we to get away from the tourist areas without having to go across town. read more

I was craving tacos at 2 a.m. after EDC and this place totally hit the spot. It has a fun dive-bar vibe, and you seat yourself and get served. The menu features their signature sloppy tacos, and they really are sloppy in the best way. I got the ground beef basket, which comes with queso and pico plus a side. I went with chips so all the taco drips basically turned into makeshift nachos. So good and nicely seasoned. Prices were super reasonable for late-night food. Service was great too and the waitress checked on us often. They did ID us since it was after 10 p.m., which wasn't a big deal. My husband and I stopped in after a long, hot day at the theme parks looking for an escape from the chaos and high prices at City Walk, and STP fit the bill perfectly. We got seated fairly quickly for a busy Saturday night. We had great service from staff throughout our visit, although it was a slightly slower toward the end once bar business picked up (to be expected). The menu is straightforward and prices are very affordable. They have a great selection of drinks at a good price. My husband got sloppy tacos and I ordered the traditional with tater tots, alongside an order of chips & queso that came with salsa. Let's just say that was more than enough food for both of us and we ended up taking home a mountain of tots. The chips were fresh and queso had a good consistency, but was a little bland. We enjoyed both of the salsas and felt those had more flavor. My husband and I both liked our tacos, but agreed that while they freshly prepared, they were very bare bones in terms of flavor. Was that a deal breaker? Absolutely not, because all in all, we had a great experience and you can't best the portions for the price. YASSSSS... Love everything from the name to the food to the staff to the vibe. Awesome place. I took a walk on the wild side with Greek tacos and a side of tots. Sounds weird, but it's a great combo. The Greek taco came with grilled chicken, feta, greens, tomato and such, along with a very nicely done Greek dressing. All that in a flour tortilla, which had been grilled with just a few crispy edges. Delightful. I am not usually a big fan of tots, but these were done to perfection. Hands down the best taco salad that I've ever had. And with several variations!!! We started with the Fundido appetizer ( it was good but wasn't cooked long enough so the center was cold) For dinner I had the traditional Taco Salad with Grilled steak and a signature "Sloppy Taco" with seasoned steak. May 2024 Update: After a somewhat lengthy absence, I returned here for two consecutive weeks, and thoroughly enjoyed both visits . . . in a big way! I don't know the conditions of the food prep area, the items are not overly fragrant, and the plating makes the tacos look like nothing special, but the level of service at the bar, as well as the delicious taste, makes up for everything and gets the highest possible rating. On some evenings parking can become a challenge but I lucked out on this trip. I was made to feel very welcome, and the minor chitchat with the bar server was certainly enjoyed. This place has been on my list to try for quite a while and I finally did! A group of us stopped in for a late lunch. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed and our server was friendly and attentive. I had to get their namesake Sloppy Tacos of course. My boyfriend and I decided to share a basket of three (steak, chicken, and pork) with a side of beans and rice. My boyfriend also ordered a corn dog because he loved them haha (though that was cold in the middle, but otherwise fine). Others in our party ordered tacos or taco salad and we had chips and queso to start. The chips were tasty and the queso was good also. It's not the most authentic style queso, but still yummy. The sloppy tacos were good and smothered in the same queso with a lightly fried shell. The steak and chicken tacos were my favorite and I was happy to see that the chicken was well seasoned and had a yummy grilled taste since sometimes chicken tacos can be on the bland side. Oddly enough, I didn't think the pork was as well seasoned, but it was still pretty good. The rice was also well seasoned. Other members of our party enjoyed their food as well. You won't find the fanciest or most authentic tacos here, but you will find some tasty food at good prices and a laid back vibe and it will definitely satisfy your taco craving! Crispy puff tacos and late night food. Came here for a very late dinner. Ordered their signature tacos. Of note their crispy puff tacos is the sloppy taco with queso. I'm not a big fan of queso myself (I know, blasphemy, so I got it replaced me shredded cheese myself. The taco combo also comes with a side. They had tatertots so it was a very obvious choice for me. I ordered the steak at first and I confused the order so got crunchy tacos instead. The tacos themselves were still great and the steak was well seasoned. Since I missed out on the puff taco I ordered a fish taco as well. The fish was fried well but a little heavy on the seasoning. I enjoyed the crisp puffiness a lot. The tacos to me are unique because the shell it comes in is almost like a fried tortilla and the cheese sauce you can't go without it this makes for the perfect combo of crispy and messy. After leaving the gun range, a few friends of mine decided to go here and WOW! I am so happy that we did, this place is literally a hole in the wall/hidden gem. Those tacos were absolutely delicious and truly some of the best I've ever had in my life. You can tell that these tacos were made with love and that the waitress that served us was very knowledgeable about the entire menu.
