On Friday after work I decided to stop by and try this place. I got an Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk. Oh boy was it so good! The flavor was just so perfect. I will absolutely be back. I'm dreaming about that latte right now. I don't know if I would go and sit and drink coffee here though. It's VERY loud. Plus all the seats were taken around 3:30 and no one was looking like they were leaving. Perhaps a different part of the day would look less crowed. I spend a lot of time in Orange and LA counties, where there are plenty of great matcha spots, so I have high standards when it comes to matcha. Unfortunately, this place doesn't quite measure up. The matcha latte here tastes mostly like water and milk, and the color is too light, which makes me think they aren't using enough matcha. I forgot to ask, but I'm also unsure if they're using ceremonial grade matcha, which is important to me. I really wish there was a great place to get matcha in Redlands. Since I drink my matcha lattes unsweetened, the quality and flavor of the matcha is crucial for it to taste good. read more

Absolutely loved the place and the coffee however one particular worker looked sloppy and even sneezed in his hand before grabbing a cup and making a drink. When meeting up with some friends we hadn't seen in a while, they mentioned that their favorite coffee shop was about 45 minutes away but well worth it- Slow Bloom! About a year late to the game but wow this coffee shop has really great coffee and a great atmosphere. So excited to support local business and come here! We tried the seasonal drinks, this iced blended PSL and a blueberry (midnight) matcha in the picture, both were really good, but definitely sweet- maybe ask for 1/2 sweet on the matcha (the ice blended PSL is pre-made). There were a ton pour over coffee options which is amazing and rare! The staff were very friendly. On a weekend, a warm one, every single seat inside was taken, but there was a nice number of seats outside in the shade (without outlets). Please note this is a favorite place for students to study so if you want a spot to sit indoors come early! I noticed a lot of customers grabbing their drinks and going. Also they were out of the fresh pastries by the time I got there so not sure how those are/when they usually sell out. All in all, I'd say definitely go, and to the owners of Slow Bloom -please open another shop! People can't get enough of Slow Bloom! read more

From all 5 times I have visited this shop because my girlfriend likes to support small business shops in her town, every single time the baristas/receptionist have all had such bad/negative attitude. Even worse than Starbucks. At least some Starbucks baristas have uplifting or nice attitudes. Every single one these baristas I've encountered have such bad attitudes. I've gone to many small business local coffee shops all over Cali, even up to Utah. Never have I experienced such a bad attitude from baristas like from this place. If you don't want to work there, don't. No one is forcing you to work at that shop. Coffee and mixed drinks taste watered down. I've had there brewed coffee, Mocha, lattes and other drinks and none are worth it. If you would like to to try some very good or good coffee shops in Cali feel free to message me. Perfect! Super glad I found this coffee shop! I was sad when Auggies shut down and couldn't get the perfect lavender latte. Slow Bloom is superb! It's located in a remote area of Redlands. I went to the coffee shop this morning (a Friday) right when they opened. I will say it was a great experience off the bat, they opened right on time (if you ever go to coffee shops right when they are supposed to open you know how rare this is) and the two employees there were both very kind and friendly. I decided to try an iced honey cinnamon latte and a coffee cake. The iced honey cinnamon latte was pretty good. It has a stronger honey taste than most other honey cinnamon lattes I have tried. The coffee cake is the real reason I gave this coffee shop a 3 star rating. The coffee cake was tough and chewy, almost to the point where I would call it gummy. read more

A cute little coffee shop that was recommended to me by my sister who goes to UCR. I tried their Tres Leche Latte (cold) and it was pretty taste, the right amount of sweet and strong with that bit of coffee in it. Limited seating but a fair amount, they offer free water where u can get straws. The drink came out fast as well, ordering was a quick as well but my server did not look like she wanted to be there ... definitely will come back when I'm back in Socal though, one bad server won't stop me from that delicious drink. went to this coffee shop with my girlfriend, she ordered a lavender vanilla chai and i got a midnight matcha. we then had a horrible night of food poisoning in the worst way imaginable. we both substituted for oat milk so maybe it was the dairy that had gone bad or just someone forgetting to wash their hands, but needless to say it was the only thing we both had that day that made us horribly sick all night and the following next day. we tried calling the next day, not to complain, but to let them know that something might be going on with their products and id hate for them to make anyone else sick and lose customers because i am certainly not coming back after that traumatic experience. unfortunately i was sent to voicemail all day long, so i left a voicemail stating the issue that occurred and to please call me back reassuring the problem would be addressed, but alas no response back. just a heads up before coming here. read more

The best coffee for MILES around and one of the only true craft/3rd wave/whatever, actually fancy coffee shops in the IE (to my knowledge). Everything on the menu is delicious. I've had mayyybe one or two drinks here that were slightly less amazing than usual, but never a single truly bad drink - and 90% of the time, I'm thrilled. Consistency is big for me in a coffee shop, and these guys have it in spades. So many seasonal offerings and truly unique flavor combinations, locally sourced ingredients, house-made syrups and compotes - artisan products that actually deserve to be called artisan. If you are feeling adventurous, the espresso tonic here blew my mind and introduced me to a whole new way to enjoy coffee (if you can get down with "good" bitterness, which I happen to be a sucker for). Plus it's an employee-owned, pro-labor, pro-diversity business. Everyone who works here is genuinely kind and will go out of their way to give you that A1 experience. Best strawberry matcha I've had in the ie ! It was super creamy and smooth with the perfect level of sweetness. I tend to prefer sweet drinks but it wasn't overwhelmingly sugary as the matcha flavor still comes through. The inside is pretty small but they have a really cute patio outside perfect for working remotely. The barista who attended me was super helpful as I had originally ordered a regular matcha latte but when I asked how sweet it is she let me know it's unsweetened then showed me the syrups they have and then recommended me the strawberry dream. Mean staff. Was sitting outside in 104 degree weather and one of the girls told me I couldn't spray my dog who was with me to keep him cool. Then she told me she was gonna spray these plastic matted and if I didn't move she'd spray me. She was so rude. I can never come here again now and it sucks. I feel so unwelcome there. Visited on a Wednesday afternoon and the place was packed, rightfully so! It was my first visit and the barista with super cool glasses gave me great recommendations. Tried their strawberry matcha and cappuccino. Both were very delicious. Although my cap lacked the proper amount of milk foam, the flavor and mouth feel was still outstanding.
