This is an adorable place! As a graduate student, I personally found this as a safe haven to study well. There is sufficient seating and some outlets. And, the seating is good. This was such a darling little coffee shop... it was a shame that the time I went, there was SUCH a rank vibe. I don't know what it was, but everyone in there silently scowled as we walked in, and it didn't get any better in the time we got our drinks and settled in with some pastries. We opted to sit outside, which was a bit better... at least free of the strange judgment indoors. The coffee itself was nice, and those who follow my coffee shenanigans know I usually order a cappuccino to try somewhere new, and it was quite nice. Even the little pastry I ordered was nice. I'd certainly recommend it to people in the area, though I don't imagine I'll be back soon, both for practical distance reasons and... who knows, maybe waiting until the studious clientele has gone back to school for the year. read more

We ordered the lemonade off the summer menu. Tart but not too sweet. A refreshing drink to beat the heat. Server was kind and welcoming. The place had decorations on its walls, clothes and other items for sale. The location was convenient in a place that you could see as you enter the plaza coming from Harkins Theatre. The Meek is definitely sweet! With its caffeine drinks and tasty treats that will most certainly knock you off your feet. After this experience I had a smile from cheek to cheek. The coffee is not too strong but not too weak and if this is something that you seek, they're open for service every day of the week. I ordered one of their seasonal lattes which was the French Raspberry Latte that was well balanced with vanilla to calm the tartness of the raspberry. It was as recommended iced and it definitely hit the spot. I started off with a shot and the cortado and my tastebuds totally agreed that their caffeinated drinks are legit. Redlands is outclassing much of LAs hipster locales with yet another excellent coffee shop. What can I say? Great coffee with all the components - high quality beans, well made espresso, nicely steamed milk with just the right temperature. I love their golden latte. Staff are friendly and welcoming. As a first timer at The Meek House, I got the Honey Cinnamon Latte (Hot). It was really good with the perfect amount of sweetness and cinnamon. The service was wonderful! FIRST TIMER. I was looking for a new coffee shop and came across this place - thank you fellow yelpers! Wow! Great spot in the middle of the Redlands shopping center across the movie theater. As I walked in there was a group of people already enjoying their drinks. I walked up to order and reviewed the menu carefully. I decided to get the large golden iced latte $6.85 and a croissant $4.50 + credit card processing fee $0.35 + 15% tip = $13.90 The lady behind the register was very kind and gave off down to earth vibes! Loved this great find! Visiting for the first time met up with a friend. Customer service was amazing! Totally welcomed as soon as I stepped through the door. It's almost library like. Everyone inside was working diligently and respectful of the quiet atmosphere that was happening on the day I visited with a friend. First time coming here. When you walk in it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The atmosphere seems chill and laid back a good place to go to do some work or have a nice latte or tea . I ordered the baklava latte with 2% milk this is made with pistachio and honey . They also have the options of almond milk or half and half. My wife ordered the chai tea. Both were good. I enjoyed it . No bitter taste . I also ordered a black tea with a stevia for sweetness . Also was fresh and very tasty They also have specials depending on the season, they offer three types of sandwiches as well as some pastries. My go to here is the honey cinnamon latte (hot or iced). Today I deviated and got the iced baklava latte and lingonberry pastry. I'm glad I did because both were good choices! Meek House is a very cute coffee shop in the middle of the Mountain Grove shopping center. I came to Meek to get some work done. It's a cute cafe with enough space for people who want to study, read or meet a couple of friends. I got the Baklava Latte which was $6.58 for a large. The workers were great with their recommendations. I must say the coffee was very average - I don't really taste the baklava flavor; I think there are definitely better cafes for the same price point which is why I am giving this place a 3/5 stars. read more

Honestly really love the vibes of The Meek House. Very calming, the music isn't loud and each song was a jam lol the service is really welcoming, eager to answer any questions and just sweet. Now the coffee, it was really really good. I got a hazelnut latte and my hubby got a vanilla latte with cold foam. Both were just the right amount of sweet. For pastries, we got a chocolate croissant and a Nutella pastry. Bomb.com, don't think about it, just get them! Decent price, we paid $22 for two lattes and the two pastries. To start our day in Redlands, we got coffee at the Meek House, it was in a shopping center and this coffee spot if popular for students, it was packed with students on their laptop. I ordered a regular rose latte with oat milk. I love how they have a table reserved for people who are not doing any work on their laptops. I found this hidden gem out here in Redlands. Run by 2 sisters Gianna +1. Their shop is very well put together, clean, well decorated and vibrant. Lots off indoor seating as well as a few tables outside. They are the only coffee shop in this area that serves their espresso shots the correct way with sparkling water. I was excited to try this place! It's very cute and seems like a great place to study. I ordered the blueberry jam latte with oat milk. It's their summer seasonal syrup. There is no jam in the drink though. The drink itself was pretty good, but the blueberry flavor was lackluster and artificial. The seasonal summer Redlands latte was also okay. All of the syrup stayed at the bottom and was very sweet. Overall, we thought the service was good but would definitely order something else next time. read more

Coffee was okay. I got a honey cinnamon iced coffee with oat milk. Tasted like an iced brown shaken espresso from Starbucks for reference except it didn't taste burnt but the coffee tasted a little sour. I felt like the coffee was a little overpriced ($8.10 for a large and it's the size of the grande and is $6.45 at Starbucks) but it was strong and gave me energy throughout my day but I drink my coffee slowly so I'm unsure how long the energy would last if I drank it all at once. Meek House is anything but meek. It serves up coffee and offers a decent amount of seating to do work. The only issue is that their outlets don't really work. Anyway, I enjoyed their vanilla latte and pastries. Not mind-blowing or groundbreaking but it gets the job done. They have a large selection of hot and iced drinks, pastries as well as few shirts, hats and some crafted items for sale. They do have indoor seating available in the form of a bar height table and low tables. The seats on the lower table are cushioned and pretty comfortable. Seating however, is a community type set-up, meaning they don't have smaller sized tables for like a group of 4. Overall, the atmosphere is relaxing and my pour over coffee was good. read more

This is probably the worst coffee place. The coffee is overpriced and it's not even quality coffee. I stopped going because the staff and owners are really rude. They hide the password from customers because they say it's only for paying customers. Which is rude because no other coffee shop has ever hidden their passwords from people at least not that I know of. I tried to ask for it one time and the girl at the counter was like have you bought something? I was like thinking of my head.
