Drinks: hibiscus lemonade. Pretty and refreshing. Not a strong hibiscus flavor- fruity lemonade is the predominant flavor. Butter pecan Latte: aroma 10/10. Flavor was spot on. I like a different season flavor. Service: great assistance in choosing the seasonal latte. Friendly. Ambiance: I'm a fan of the decor- all things slow lol (turtles, sloths, snails). Urban but warm. Plenty of seating but is mostly communal. WiFi free for 2 hours w purchase

Love this location a little away from our home tucked into a strip center. This place had delicious smells of coffee as soon as you walked in the door . Tables had various board games on them such as chess Simpson edition, UNO and checkers for the littles. They even have wine and beer for the Bigs. Customer service was so friendly as we ordered some takeout wraps and were out quickly. They even have a walk up window and saw they giving pup cups for someone's furrbaby. Careful you don't miss it since only 1 entrance/ exit . Note: it is at the end of a small strip area so signage wasn't at end of street. Definately worth a return visit!

Came across this recently when just searching coffee places around the area so finally made it in. Was wanting the breakfast bagel, so that was the reason for the visit, more so than coffee. Butttt, it's a cute place to grab a coffee or drink and chill. They serve beer and wine also which I did not know. The bagel was delicious, definitely recommend and the coffee was good too. I'll definitely be back since it's in the area, chill vibe! For anyone working, they have little almost one seater type work stations which were all taken up, so great place to work and have your coffee.

So good had to come twice while on my short trip to Houston. Great mix of traditional drinks (cortados etc) and fancier drinks (breezy brew). If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself coming often and working from here.

Wow. It's affordable, high quality and a cozy feel. I accidentally forgot to say I wanted my latte iced. I asked for a cup of ice and they insisted to remake it so that the texture was consistent. The breakfast tacos are $3.50!! I ordered an ube latte on their curated latte menu

A go-to of mine when I'm in Houston, partially because it's convenient to where I stay and mostly because it's good and consistently good. They have a full coffee menu from basic drip to all the fancy things (+seasonal items), and good, quick breakfast. I like the tacos and salmon bagel a lot. They serve wine but I've never been here for anything other than coffee and breakfast items. The decor and atmosphere are adorable with tons of art and cool knick-knacks of slow paced animals... the sloth, snail, and turtle. The print of the sloth pole dancing is one of my favorites! There's a mixture of people in and out and some who are camped for several hours to work. They have board games for the kiddos (and adults, too) and a cute little vintage ride-on turtle for small ones. The staff at the register is happy to convert your dollar into quarters.

first time at this location. the lemon bar and the drink were tasty. the service was friendly and fast. the ambiance was a chill study vibe. however parking was hard to find as the parking lot was very small.

I love slowpokes! It's such a vibe. I will say if you're a coffee snob, their coffee is overexctracted and the milk is steamed improperly. I got the chicken pesto panino on a pretzel baguette and it was phenomenal!

Wow. Where do I even begin with this review. I did not expect this quaint coffee shop nestled on…read morethe corner of a shopping plaza to really blow me away the way that it did. For starters I'd like to think of myself as a bit of a coffee snob. It's one of those things that I can enjoy a multitude of ways, but experiences that go beyond plain enjoyment are few and far between. When I tell you...this is the best quality coffee I've had in Houston I am not bluffing! I've had both the Cashmere and Jade coffee, both hot and iced and they absolutely never miss. The drinks coming out of this place have been consistently fire, so this isn't some one-off shop with a good selection or two. Menu selections are impeccable. Drinks are crafted to absolute perfection. Lines do tend to be long but service is never lacking. Staff is polite and efficient. Not to mention last time I went in there someone was vibing to all the Drake hits which further contributed to the "hipster quality coffee shop" feels (biased preference I know haha). I don't have a single complaint!!! Will absolutely be returning and would endorse this spot to any and everyone looking for quality crafted coffee drinks!

The aesthetics are nice, but the drinks were a little mixed. My beloved Boomtown RIP…read more This pains me to write. Different is certainly not always better, especially when what you had was already working. I much prefer the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. To the people who bought this place, I know your motto is "different is better," but please stop taking that so literally. You do not have to change every aspect of this place to make it different. The best thing about getting your everyday local coffee is seeing the same baristas you've seen over and over again, familiar faces who know you by name. This was one of those places where I'd hate to admit how much money I've spent here, and I did it happily. In just three weeks, our beloved spot, one I would willingly drive out of my way for, has gone so far downhill that I barely recognize it. From the eyesore taco warmer that practically knocks you in the face while you're ordering, replacing a space that once showcased lovely things like fresh flowers and local trinkets, to the disappearance of the wonderful local treats from Sinfull Bakery that kids genuinely enjoyed. At first I thought maybe you were just out, but after three weeks it became clear that expenses were being cut across the board and those items may never come back. And where do I even begin. The new oat milk is terrible. It completely changes the look and taste of the coffee and is immediately noticeable. I won't harp on the change of hours or the change in flavor of your coffee beans, but I feel it must be mentioned because, well, it's noticeable. And now the cleanliness. Spilled taco sauce all over the floor, and when your kid points it out, you know you're in trouble at that point. Dishes piled so high they're overflowing, dirty restrooms. And to be clear, this isn't the staff's fault, there is simply not enough staff to keep up with these things. Never ever in seven years of being a frequent visitor has it been this bad. I also noticed the new coffee packaging, and it's just another reminder that the heart and thoughtfulness that once defined this place are gone. At this rate I half expect robots handing me my latte in a few weeks so you can save a few more bucks. And getting rid of Toast. Even if Toast was an expensive platform to use, it was legitimately so convenient. And dang, if you're going to do away with it, don't replace it with the worst possible ordering system ever, one that doesn't even work. Do you know how many orders I wouldn't have placed if it weren't for Toast? Toast made those orders possible when I didn't have time to wait. Without it, I simply wouldn't have ordered. I understand times are tough for many businesses, but you all were booming. The new online ordering system doesn't work. You may as well do away with it altogether because this one just isn't it. Honestly, I am devastated. You knocked it out of the park in every area, cleanliness, service, food. I never had a single bad item on the menu. The coffee was beyond. When my family moved out of the city a year and a half ago, I still drove 35 minutes one way just to get your food and coffee, over an hour round trip again and again. I don't think you understand how this new direction has driven this place into the ground in a matter of three weeks. Sadly all good things must come to an end.
