Then moved to the Heath Owners Club membership (Heath owns Grape Creek Winery). Then recently, we moved to the K Estate membership (Heath bought K Estate). And they offer other memberships as well. You can switch out at any time. And within each, you can go with reds or whites or mixed. They also make sparkling wines. Something for everyone. We took the Estate tour for the first time this week. They show you where all the grapes are pressed, the wine is made, the casks they age it in, and how they filter and bottle it. Pretty cool. They are a major producer, and all of it seems to be distributed to members. They have an onsite restaurant with covered outdoor seating. You're surrounded by the winery and lots of beautiful plants and trees. Indoors you have your standing tasting experiences. The restaurant food is fine. And it's not exorbitantly priced. They have chatceutery and appetizers (hummus, meatballs) as well as simple entrees. Though they own several wineries and tasting rooms, this is the best of them as a visitor experience. Bob was our driver and his great demeanor added to our great day. He knew the area and many of the locations as he used to be the head football coach at Dripping Springs High School.
