Date of Visit: 05/23/2026 It was a Saturday afternoon and I had some time, so I took Fritz out for a drive and headed to Clearwater up 19. Took that to Gulf-to-Bay and its right there as you head west. It was around 1pm and the parking was easy, plenty. I chose to walk up and order rather than the drive-thru, wanted to sit and eat. As I walked up on the place I could see it was made up of containers, shipping containers. By the way this is my first time at one of these places. When I entered I could see there were two sitting areas and one order/pick-up window. Checked the menu out and they really only have one burger. A single, double or triple patty. And it comes as Double (2 sliders), triple or a quad. I ordered the double with waffle fries and a coke. I did wait a short while, there was a line at the drive-thru when I arrived but not long. As I waited I looked around and found it odd they the walls were empty. I would expect a TV or a monitor with some on, nothing. I was called and I got my food. Whether you eat in or take out, it comes in a bag. no tray. First thing I was surprised by the fries, don't really prefer the waffle fry but these were done really good. Crispier than others. And the burgers were a good size for being a slider. And as another one said they were done right. I had LMO on mine with cheese. It was good burger and fry. As I sat there and ate some others sat as well and I over heard one say something about condiments and napkins. Although I did get napkins with I'm a ketchup person so I didn't notice at first. There are no condiment station anywhere, again, odd... Overall not a bad place if your driving thru, give it a try. Peace. read more

Stopped on a Saturday afternoon and had the "dining room" all to ourselves. If the quality of our food was the reason I can understand. Sliders were incredibly dry. I'm sorry to say that the bun was the best part of the slider. The waffle fries had not much flavor. The feeling that you are eating in a garage is probably because you are! The service at the window was fine, very nice lady. When food is ready you get a shout out from the other window. I guess my disappointment was because I read many positive reviews. I will say the place is clean. And thankfully the birds that flew in didn't drop anything! Will I try it again? Never say never. read more

Basically, they have one type of burger that you can order as a single, 3-count, or 5-count, with the standard toppings and their specialty "Smauce" (their signature sauce). The burger definitely has more flavor than your typical fast-food spot, and the sauce is really good. The waffle fries were bussin. Super crispy, almost like curly fries but in waffle form. The interior is pretty small, with a maximum of about four people per table. The staff was helpful and friendly, but there isn't any table service. Overall, it was good, but it's probably not a place we'd make a regular stop. read more

It's been a while since I come back to this location since I had a bad experience before, but you know I like the food so I gave it a try again. I just sat in their drive-through after ordering 12 minutes before I left. You sit there and you watch Chick-fil-A have multiple people go in and out of their drive-through before you can even pull up the pay. This place has such a simple menu. They could be even faster than Chick-fil-A but their urgency sucks. Employees suck. The management sucks. Hate to say I never fine back to this place. read more

Stopped by Smalls Sliders to pick up some lunch and I'm so glad I did. I like that they have corn hole and outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful Clearwater weather. The cashier was very helpful with helping me decide what to order. I ordered the kids combo add bacon with a Coke zero and a side of queso to go. Once I got home the food was still hot. I didn't even have to microwave it. That small slider was packed full of flavor and the waffle fries were crispy. Glad to see this new addition to the neighborhood. I actually liked this place. It's clean and staff was actually friendly and quick. When we arrived there was a line but it went quick. You walk up and place your order and they'll call your name when it's ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive through. Their menu is small which makes it easy for ordering. Their special sauce is what makes the burgers so I do suggest getting a side for $0.99. Hubs and I both ordered the 2 slider combo which comes with fries and a drink for $10.99. SO GOOD. The staff is awesome, the decor & store in general is dope, the food (burgers & fries) are gas, and the SAUCES. They really pushed it over the edge for me. You really get your value for money here. The menu is pretty small but they do everything on it very well and it shows. The house sauce is one of the best I've had (I feel like chains always say they have the best sauce like raising canes but this one was a sleeper) and the queso is the cherry on top. It has a similar concept to White Castle. Their food menu is very limited just a cheeseburger slider you can order. On the other hand their milkshakes were really tasty. I particularly enjoyed the Dr Pepper shake. I think I would come again just for the shakes but not food. It did take a little bit for them to come to the window and take my order as I was the only one in the restaurant. But the food came out in a decent amount of time. It seems like in the summer all the windows are up and creates an open dining room. read more

I've never been so torn in writing a review before. The food: was very flavorful. I can see it being a bit much for some. Buns are very sweet almost like challah bread or extremely Hawaiian roles. The thousand island dressing sauce was very good. The meat was cooked medium well done which I appreciated as most fast food burger joints severely overcook their meats. The fries were the crispy variety which I loved. The cookies and cream shake (large) was gigantic but for 10 dollars I expect it to be big, so that passed my sticker shock. Price: extremely expensive! 17 dollars for the burgers and fries- singles not doubles!- and no additional sauces in the bag. You have to go knock on the drive thru style window for that. I took pictures of my receipts as proof I wasn't hallucinating because this was the most expensive fast casual/fast food experience of my life. The venue: Good concept on paper but terrible execution. The 'indoor' seating is actually outdoors facing a busy road. An ambulance drove by and the sound bounced off the walls making the 'indoor' setting an echo chamber for the wails of sirens. Perhaps if it had been a less busy road this would be tolerable. I expect to hear sirens but every single car passing bounced off the cement walls. I saw fans all along the ceiling to mitigate heat on hot days but I have no desire to return to test air flow. Cleanliness: filthy. There's trash everywhere in the "outdoor" seating section and the "indoor" floors are extremely sticky. You can see the dried brush strokes of the mop that must've been pre-bathed in sticky goo before performatively cleaning the cement floors. There is no soda machine available to customers so why is the entryway sticker than a roach trap? Male bathroom is out of soap according to my partner. Table tops were dirty, it was clear no staff member ever came out to wipe the tables or sweep the trash up. I took the liberty of wiping my own table down with paper towels that were thankfully stocked in the women's bathroom. Service: nonexistent- you order quickly and then food is handed to you with a nod and the drive thru style window (yes even indoors) closes. One dude just leaned out and stuck his arm out with a bag not even making eye contact with another customer. I worked in a fast casual style food place for 4 years. I know how hard it can be to keep the place nice especially as corporations cut staffing and corners. But as a customer, this is unacceptable. Don't go here. The food is good but you can get much better and presumably cleaner elsewhere. read more

I stopped by Smalls Sliders for lunch and walked away a believer. I had two sliders, fries, and a side of queso and everything slapped. Like, truly. The sliders were insanely flavorful, the fries were crispy perfection, and that queso? Dangerous in the best way. Look, I know slider reviews are always mixed people either expect them to change their life or write them off for being, well, sliders. But these? These are the best sliders I've ever had. Period. Smalls Sliders popped up on my Facebook last week and I decided to drive over to Clearwater. My order was taken by Anthony right away and he said the restaurant has been open for 3 weeks now. Never heard of Smalls Sliders, so had to stop on way to beach. Very casual dining, open air seating and quick service. Large fans help keep the temperature a bit chilly but staff very nicely offered to turn one down. Minimal menu, but that made ordering easy. The kids menu includes a slider and fries and a small drink. I had the double slider and it was filling by itself. They use their own sauce and offer a side of sauce for dipping. I was so happy to see they offered the doubles now. It's been awhile since we ordered from here. Unfortunately they forgot to cook the meat. At first I wasn't going to say anything except the more I tried to eat, the more raw it became. If it were steak, I'd be fine but raw ground beef isn't the best thing to consume. I also upgrade our drinks to large. I requested no ice because I didn't want a cup of ice with a couple drinks. I figured I could add ice at home. Unfortunately my bag showed the correct order but they also filled the drinks with ice so it was a few sips & gone. I guess it was fresh but I'm not sure I'll order again any time soon. Great slider Waaaaaaaaay Overpriced. The sliders are top tier so the concept could work. The pricing is crazy high. 4 sliders in a combo runs $18+ AND you cannot get say 2 with no pickle but 2 with pickle. They have to be all the same. Forcing you to buy more and not be able to bundle. Major hand misplay in this economy IMO. The fries were very tasty as was their signature sauce except they charge you $1 for it otherwise you can't dip it into anything. The restaurant also only has 7 tables I am room that can fit 12. So a lot of people were standing and waiting if they wanted to eat in the AC (it is Florida after all). The wait wasn't fast wasn't slow. It was average. All and all it's just a slider there's no way the cost could supersede that of any other fast food burger chain. Yet you get half the food and it costs more. I loved what I ate but likely won't be back because if I'm spending $55 to feed a family of 4 it's not going to be on sliders. read more

The new trend in fast food is to have a small menu and great quality. This place has a small menu, but otherwise misses the mark. You can get slider burgers, waffle fries, and milkshakes only. The slider burgers are fine. They are nothing to write home about, but are o.k. I would say it is similar to Krystal, but with more meat. But if sliders are your only product, they need to be amazing. They also douse them in a house sauce that is nothing special, and many folks may not appreciate. The waffle fries were basically inedible. They seem like standard Sysco wholesale frozen seasoned fries, but overcooked. Too crunchy, and taste only like the frying oil. These are not even close to Chick-fil-a's waffle fries. Ugh. If I had to eat here again, I would skip the fries. The day we visited we ate "inside." They had the two giant garage doors opened up and it was like eating on a covered patio. I'll say the temperature was OK that day, but with the 6-lane divided highway of Gulf-to-Bay Blvd only 30 feet from your table--it was not pleasant. Very loud, and I was waiting to get pelted with trash by someone driving by at 45mph. Service is counter-service only--you carry your food and clean up after yourself. You have to wait at the window if you want a soda refill. I'm sad to say there is no reason to return to this place. I don't think it's a case of having a rough opening either. I think the concept is not great, and doesn't leave me wanting to come back. Maybe if they did a slightly better quality burger, house cut fries, and kept the garage doors shut, they might have a concept worth selling. read more

A pleasant experience. Very simple menu: Sliders, waffle fries, drinks and shakes. Sliders were great - they are definitely larger than a White Castle or a Krystal slider. Waffle fries were seasoned well. They have inside and covered outside seating areas. Basic but comfortable. You order at the window and they call your name when your order is ready. Service was quick and friendly. A little pricy for sliders and fries but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth an occasional splurge. read more

The fries were good. The sliders were good. You get a three because I've never seen a real slider without onions. You're missing a major component. My opinion that's a fail. Sliders were just ok. Not really seasoned. Waffle fries had a semisweet taste to them almost like they were battered. Not as good as chic fila waffle fries. Got a number 2 ( 2 sliders, medium fries and medium drink) also got a number 4 (4 sliders large fries and large drink) got 2 medium fries. I was out of town and they were close by. I went to the drive-through. There was a young lady standing there to take my order. I ordered two hamburgers and a small fry and a smouth sauce. It still came to $12?? I told her I didn't want the combo and she said oh there's no charge for the drink anyways? I said OK whatever. I needed a receipt for business and she could not give me a receipt but took my credit card on her little machine? The french fries were mushy with a gross seasoning on them. Place is still new but glad to have a burger place instead of 3rd chicken fast food place within a stones throw. Small menu but the food is delicious and hot; what else can you ask for. Thought the burgers would be small but they are actually a decent size; unlike Krystal or White Castle. White Castle is like the Taco Bell of small burger joints; Smalls Sliders is like the Five Guys of small burger joints.....you get what you pay for in my opinion. I just found this place last week, but I've been everyday since on my lunch break at work! They are affordable. The food is AMAZING. I will say this is honestly the best fast food place I've EVER eaten at. The employees are AMAZING, specifically the one lady always working the window. She's always polite, happy, and quick.
