What is supposed to be a time saver turns into an ordeal because you start getting never-ending texts about everything that they don't have in stock and they wanna substitute this or that and this isn't available and all of this nonsense so in the end my bill came out to just under $100 which made it full price and because they couldn't just handle it over the phone and just give me my $20, I actually ended up just returning the whole order so now they get to put it all away and that's what bad customer service gets you.

I should not be surprised given that this store is located in such close proximity to California State University San Marcos, however, as a new resident within 5 minutes drive time busy single mother I find that twice within the last two weeks I have visited the store and received something well beyond spoiled. The very first night that I spent in my new residence I ventured out to grab a few things necessary for survival and naturally, the rotisserie chickens were high on my list, unfortunately although they were on display when I walked in the door and the store is still going to be open for another 40 minutes all of them rotisserie chickens were taken to the back when I returned up to the front to check out and when I asked the three dudes, just shooting the breeze at the front of the store they all looked at me like I was crazy and said that they're closing up so they put them away for the night. I get it it's late do you wanna go home? Can you put the rotisserie chickens away no problem you don't wanna stay after the door is closed to deal with things like that but for me I was disappointed. We went home empty-handed as everything else I picked out was to accompany my plans for this rotisserie chicken, including making a broth with the carcass, etc.. About a week later I decided to give it another shot came in a little earlier right around 7:30 PM or 8 PM ordering 2 pounds of raw shrimp with shells and heads that were deveined and at an excellent price so I had to ask what was up and the butcher said that they just got them in and that they should be fresh for a few days. I immediately took them home and refrigerated them for our meal the following day. This was pretending to be a little bit of a celebratory feast for myself and my son upon our possession of the property, but live to our extreme disappointment. The shrimp hadn't even been in our refrigerator for 24 hours. It was all fluffy and super strong smelling, we tried to wash them, but they were rank and slimy. Luckily, we were able to get our credit back, but it was quite annoying because I called immediately was told that I could get the refund and not to worry about bringing this back so I took photos and videos of the shrimp the wrapper everything finally this guy let me have 30 bucks back so that I could drive a few extra miles and go to Sprouts from now on.

My husband visited this location yesterday. When he arrived, he said that only one tote color was available, so he picked one up and continued shopping. Later, he noticed that additional colors had been stocked, so he grabbed three more, staying within the four‑bag limit. At checkout, the cashier assumed my husband had already purchased a bag earlier. When my husband explained that he had not yet paid for the one bag he had initially picked up, the cashier insisted he did and that allowing him to purchase another bag would not be fair because some people buy additional bags to resell. He really felt being stereotyped. We are not resellers, he was simply purchasing the permitted quantity for a family celebration. But come to think of it, there is nothing wrong with people reselling the totes, as they purchased them legally and did not steal them.

Additionally, their sushi, smoothie bar and pre-made foods are top notch - they are MILES ahead of any of the "big" grocery stores. So the question is - if they are so great, why do they only have 4 stars on Yelp? One major reason is that they stretch their products. If you don't check the expiration date on every product you purchase, you will end up buying something months after it expired. I purchased a Brie-en-croute on sale for Super Bowl. I was so excited to try it. When I opened the box, the product had mold all over it. I looked at the expiration date and it was not supposed to expire for another week. Then I looked more closely. They had an expiration sticker that was on the box that had already passed, and then they put another sticker on top of that one with a different expiration date. That's not accidental - that's intentional. I definitely felt taken advantage of. Is it enough to make me stop shopping at Frazier Farms? Absolutely not. But, if this grocery outlet wants to improve, they need to look into why so many products on the shelves are expired. I understand not wanting to waste things. But you can't put new stickers on top of old stickers while selling a moldy product. I hope someone in management reads this review, and takes it seriously. I don't have time to go back to Fraziers every time I have to return an expired product. If that changes, I will change this review to 5 stars.
