The previous reviews giving Bill top scores are right. He quoted me a flat rate of $65 & stuck to it even though we stood outside in 100 degree heat trying to open one of the hardest locks to open without destroying it. I think it became a matter of pride for him to open the door without ruining the locks because I even told him to just go ahead and drill the lock out as I saw that it was going to be a pain to open. He said these locks cost $40 or more and he wasn't going to destroy it if he could avoid it. The man is definitely customer focused. He was on another call when I contacted him and he gave me a 45 minute eta and was right on. Like I said before, he tries his best to save you money by doing his best to save the locks where others might take the easy way out by just drilling out a lock that is difficult to pick. He even showed me how easy it is to pick some of the other locks I have, but said that I didn't really need to worry about them as the security door and locks I had outside (the ones he had to open for me) would be more than anyone would want to deal with as they would just move on to an easier target. I HIGHLY recommend him and am adding him to my phone list just in case I screw up and misplace my keys again. read more

I messaged Smart Home Locksmith through Yelp yesterday (8/5/17). Bill responded in about 15 minutes. I needed a Kevo lock installed and all my keys for every door of our new home rekeyed to match. He quoted me a fair price and was able to come in 4 hours. He gave me a 30 minute arrival time window and arrived right on time! He did an excellent job and even when the Kevo (which he had warned me might be glitchy to set up) had issues (not his fault but the software was not working), he called Kevo and worked with them to fix the problem. I felt bad it was so much trouble but he never made me feel like it was a bother. He wanted to make sure it was done right and smiled the whole time!!! He also cut me 4 keys at no extra charge!!
