11/27/23 Been going here for years, but they recently don't register to dmv anymore, and don't tell you that until after the test. And as expected all the cars who were getting their smog test got mad since they choose not to tell you that info. Ao if you're just getting smog go ahead, but if you need registration too then you might have to wait in line at the dmv. read more

Not a good place to smog, hook up computer and said car wasn't ready, this is how they get you to pay double because they charge for retest, complete lie. My car was not reset and is my daily driver, lucky I had a good mechanic tell me that they are scamming me because the car computer was not resetted. read more

STAY AWAY, I got there at 6:30 a.m. hoping to be first in line and I was. An hour and a half later it was past 8 a.m. and there were 4 cars in line and NOBODY there to open up!! The 2nd guy in line said the exact same thing happened the day before and called the number and was told he had car issues and wasn't going to make it until 8:30 a.m. and was there today to confront him. The 3rd car in line was a lady and she said they were usually arrived there late; I've been in Vegas since 2006 and have always gone there and never had to wait. Finally, after 8 a.m., 3 of the 4 of us left. I went to Smog Busters about 50 yards west of there and was in and out within the length it took for the smog check to pass, BUT THEY CHARGED $25, ANOTHER SCAM!! I went for a diesel smog test today it went up $20 dollars in a year! I drove from Henderson for the last six year! I notice today the technician did NOT secure my vehicle to the Dyno as he did the test like prior years? Normally they chain the rear axle to ground to keep it from leaving dyno. Beside being 30 percent more expensive it's unsafe to dyno my truck without securing it! Will not return to this business! read more

Horrible place. The car was driven from another state. Went there to get tested, said Computer was not set. Drive to Arizona and back, charged $15 to retest and again computer wasn't test. Wanted to charge again for another retest... Do not go there!!! read more

What a convenient location this Smog Check is. It's literally across the street from the DMV by Shara and Eastern. There's two guys running the show and the Tech that helped me was Javier aka Javi. This was a super chill and makes for great conversation. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, I didn't even finish my Cig and Javi was done. It was $20.00 for quick service and tip for speed, since I had to go back to the DMV and finish getting my registration. I recommend you give theses guys a try next time you need a Smog Check. It says online that they're open till 6 PM I pull up at 4:50 and the guy is rude as fuck to me and barely respond to me saying they're not open actually he doesn't even verbally say anything he just does the cutthroat motion and I swear to God I wanted to slap the fuck out of him !!! Don't go here! Avoid going to this location! The people here are so rude and disrespectful! Service and attitude sucks! We came here for a Smog the price was $18.99. We gave them $20 and they were not going to give us the change. My husband told him that we would like our change. He had an attitude and said it's only $1.00! $1.00 is $1.00! Technically our change was $1.01. It is still up to the customer to see how your service was and attitude for a tip. You do not just take someone's money and not give them the change! Excellent. I was on my way to another place to get the 'dreaded' smog check when I saw this place on my way home from work. It is conveniently located on Sahara, directly across from the DMV. I was not too sure what to think at first, but when I noticed that there were two other cars there I figured that I would take my chances. They have three bays, and they were testing all three cars at once. I was there for a total of about 5 minutes. They accept Visa/Mastercard, and gave me a copy of my smog certificate. This is right off Sahara near the car dealerships and DMV. There was one car in front of me but it wasn't a long wait. I was able to renew my registration here as well for a small fee. Definitely coming back here next year. read more

BS! Money grabbing A$$wipe$. The tech could've told us that a dangling OBD2 port would automatically fail the test but no. He took our money then says it failed because a dangling port is considered tampered. He could've told us and we would've placed it back in the bracket. We took it off because our scanner's plug is too bulky to pass through the surrounding coverings by the port. He really could've told us as a courtesy but nooooo. You want honest business operators? This isn't one of them. Went to a different smog tester and right off the bat I asked him what would've happened if the OBD2 port was dangling and he said he wouldn't test it because it was considered tampering. We were already sitting in a line at the smog station which is to the left of this place. My husband decided to walk over to Smart smog to see if they had a wait line and to our surprise there was none but while he was walking back we became the next to be seen where we were at but something told me to look up and I seen the young man flagging us at Smart Smog to come over, so before my husband reached the car I yelled out the window bae they want us to come over there so we notice the gentleman at this station was still occupied and never acknowledged us there so I pull off and when we came to a stop at Smart smog we knew that we made a Smart decision (Get it Smart Smog Smart decision) anyway's. They were friendly upon arrival and they were cheaper than the other place. We were also told that Bonuses are giving for referrals and future visits. This place Totally Sucks!!!! Went to get a diesel check on a cloudy day and they told me they don't do diesel checks on rainy days. I said it not raining and the manager said we don't do smog checks in the rain. They were not smart enough to see there was not water coming out of the sky....that would mean rain.. Totally rude customer service! PUT THIS PLACE ON THE AVOID LIST!!!! They get negative stars. read more
