Stopped on my way to work to get a quick smog check. I pulled up and he plugged in and started running my test. It took maybe 5 or so minutes to plug in my information and get checked out. They were really quick and pretty friendly. It's only $20 for the smog check and they don't charge you again if you don't pass. I passed so I didn't have to worry about it. Super close to my new place. Probably be my stop next year too. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place. The reason is this company is not responsive which is vital on running a business. And they have no customer service. Along that note their prices are not as promised . They have on the site that they do not charge if car doesn't pass smog. However, they have charged me for my car not passing and told me if I come back they will charge the full amount which could be anything they choose. The disrespect and indecisiveness this company has shown. I personally don't recommend this company. I recommend you save your money and go to the professionals. read more

Stopped by this little shack to get a smog for my car. Not the place I normally go but was in the area and figured I'd knock out a chore. The guy running the place was really friendly. There was no wait and I was done in five minutes. $19 for the smog, which is a decent price, and they don't charge if you don't pass. Second time I come and they're closed early, arrived at 4:45 2 days ago. Closed. Arrived at almost 5 exactly today and closed again. Will not come back here. Sign says they close at 6pm but I guess the girl likes to take a extra hour off without her boss knowing. Went to the one by the DMV same price really friendly and did it in 3 minutes. read more

I bought a 1997 conversion van. I went to the DMV to get it registered and they said I would need to get it smog'd. There is a smog place right across the way from the Sahara location DMV but that place rips you off. It's $40 even if you don't pass. So I drove over to this smog location off of DI (only 3 mins away) and got it done there. There was no wait, but the parking lot was kinda crazy cause there is a car wash and some other stuff there. I pulled up and the guy working the kiosk was very professional and friendly. He quickly did my smog and gave me my pass sheet. If you go there it's a $1 extra charge if you use a cc or debit. Took my pickup truck in today. One person was before me and I didn't spend more than 10 minutes there in total. They were very quick.

I brought my car in for a test and the owner of the station helped me out - he ran the test and my test was "rejected". He explained that this is different than failing and it means that the on-board computer had more than 1 sensor that wasn't "complete". Essentially I hadn't driven the car enough since the engine had been reset (I had taken the battery out to work on the car the previous weekend). Instead of ringing me up and charging me for the rejected test, he just told me to come back when I had driven the car another 100 or so miles. 3 days later I came back, and he tested my car. Was in and out in less than 4 minutes. $18.99. Honest, friendly, and efficient. Everything you could ask for in a smog testing facility. read more
