Received a reminder 10 days before my plates expired so rather than wait for my hubby to do it for me (bless his heart!) I did a trusty Yelp search and came across this location that had amazing reviews compared to other locations in the valley. The reviews were spot on accurate. It took me 30 min to get the test done (only 1 car ahead of me) and paid $33.50 (card). It's that time to register car and of course I need a smog test. I've never needed to get a smog test as I just registered last year and had it done with the DMV. I wasn't too sure how the process worked but it's pretty simple. Took about five minutes and I used the Yelp check in to save a few dollars (19.99 instead of 26). After, I asked were the results automatically sent to DMV. Well I TRIED to ask but the inspector cut me off and said "everything's on there" referring to the paper he handed me. I was quite surprised at how awesome this place is! Its located in the same plaza as the Service King car repair. You drive up and its a small hut. The one item that took me by surprise was how cheap it cost! $21.99 for a smog. If you need to charge by CC, it is an additional 1$. Still, a really good deal. The gentleman whom performed the Smog test was very friendly and quick. The smog check took no longer than 10 minutes. If you need a quick smog test, check this place out! read more

I asked about a military discount when I went for a smog test (as I had gotten in the past) and was told they don't give any discounts as of a couple of months ago. So I paid and went on my way. Today my brother in law had his car smog tested and he asked for the military discount and was given a 20% discount no questions asked. So I guess they pick and choose who they give the discount to. It was time for a smog check and earlier in the month I passed by this place so I decided to give it a try. When I got there - there were already a couple of cars in line. Bummer! I was really hoping not to spend my whole lunch break sitting in my car in 115 degree heat waiting for a smog check. I pulled in because I figured going to another smog check would take time and I was also risking another wait. I was so happy I stayed. James was the tech that day and he was making sure the line moved quickly and effectively while still chit chatting with the customers and asking them how their days were going. It was my turn fairly quickly and we joked about how the only thing that would make this visit better is if there was a margarita machine lol (I don't condone drinking and driving, but poor James was working his butt off in the heat and honestly, a margarita machine would have been nice for him lol). Fastest and easiest smog ever! I was out of there in less than 5 minutes and it was about $26 (they do add a credit card fee I think, so cash may be a little less). They automatically send your results and mileage to the DMV so you don't need to do anything except go online and pay your registration. Btw, there is an auto shop next door that also offers smog - it's not the same business! Go to the little booth on the edge of the lot. read more
