These guys are awesome. The owner Brian came over and did a thorough audit of our sprinkler system in conjunction with listening to the issues we were facing. He was really knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Zero scummy salesman tactics or shadiness. Other companies tried to sell us the moon, but their proposal was totally reasonable. He provided a detailed written estimate (wow the lost art of written communication in business, what a breath of fresh air!) with a very reasonable cost. One of his technicians Austin came by a few days later to do the work over the course of a day and a half. There were a few teething problems that needed a quick follow-up visit, but they were super responsive and came by the same day to fix the problems. This is a belated post for a job performed by Smart Sprinkler Repair back in November of 2024. I had a sprinkler valve for my backyard lawn that was severely leaking when the water was turned on. The technician Erik first tried to reposition the metal valve with new PVC, but it developed a small leak. After calling Smart Sprinkler, Erik came by the next day and replaced the metal valve with an entire new valve. It works great now. Erik also quickly replaced one leaky sprinkler valve and one valve that was about to give out (he has a good ear for recognizing the odd noise from the working valve). He also replaced a few of my sprinkler heads. All in all a great job and I am happy with the work done. read more

Though not the system I thought I needed, Brian sold me on a system that would be virtually maintenance free, since there were no mechanical parts. The cost was substantial for a lot of rubber hose. Less than a year later, the timer stopped working and the drip system had some issues. The company provided no help for the timer, said "contact the manufacturer, they might have a warranty." And as far as the drip system, they were glad to come out for a service call at a minimum $100, because "mechanical parts need maintenance." Orbit (timer company) was very helpful, replacing the timer and assisting me in getting it on going. Smart Sprinkler attitude was "your problem." And their installer had registered the timer in his name, which complicated the conversation with Orbit significantly. The difference is that Orbit wanted to solve the problem.
