Since I first got my unit my rent has increased 300%!!!!! My last increase was a whopping $60 a month!!! SO, they just gouge their longstanding customers because they know they can! A brand NEW customer off the street will pay $60 less than me for the SAME UNIT. Today, I went to move from my 5x5 space to a 10x20. I reserved the 10x20 to move to a little over a week ago. When reserving the space online the system did not allow me to pick the space that I saw. automatically put me in a different space. When I get there to move in today, nothing had been shoveled and the automatic door opener was not working for the gate. The attendant was coming out during this process. I told what I was there for and he had quite the attitude because he stated he was about to leave It was 11:39pm. Leaving already. There is never anyone there. Then dealing with him was terrible as there was no customer service. He was aware of my situation. He asked me to retrieve the lock from the storage space that was initially held for me and bring it back because he had to leave. Well that started a entirely different issue. The storage space was in the D building all the way in rear of the facility. Well they have not cleared any of the snow. So it was challenging to get to the space. I go get the lock and put the lock on my new unit. As I was heading back to the office my 2022 Mercedes got stuck on the incline of the driving path heading back to the office. The snow was so high and slippery that my SUV slid into the fence. Luckily the tire of the car stopped me from hitting the fence. I had to call a tow service to get me out. The attendant left me there after providing with some salt and a little assistance with his shovel. He left after 30 minutes. There were other customers that were having challenges driving to their units. One car almost slid into my car. The tow truck came after two hours and he also was sliding and had challenges getting out. They are trying to charge me for the extra time being in the 5x5. NOT HAPPENING! The issue is there is no customer service at this facility nor do they care. I will be reaching out to corporate as I have a 5x5 that I still needed to move out of today. However, I could not because I needed my SUV to get the items from one unit to the next. I could not run the risk of getting stuck again. There people complaining of the challenges they had. I started to inform customers to not risk getting stuck trying to get to their facility. This is all on the video cameras that they have. Absolute unacceptable!

In the past, when something truly urgent came up, they would call or at least send multiple forms of communication -- phone calls, emails, and letters -- so we knew to act immediately. This time, they switched to only email without any phone calls or clear indication that an auction was imminent. We had no idea things had escalated so far until it was too late. If you value your belongings, be aware that their communication practices are unreliable when it matters most.

He went back on the 2nd did the inspection and was told there should be no problem he shouldn't be billed for January this year. He found out later they not only billed for Jan but they turned it over to collection. When he went back in to see why, they told him because he used his pin on the 1st that is why they charged for the entire month. He paid it reluctantly. If anything they should have charged for one day not 31!! I would not recommend their storage facility.

I moved all of my stuff out on June 1st, and yet they charged me for the entire month of June. I emailed someone about getting the charges removed but no one answered and there was NEVER anyone at the front desk. -Also you aren't allowed to stay at the storage unit after 5 pm! Some of us have a job and can't get there till later. They also lock the elevators after 5 so if you just loaded up your stuff and try to use the elevator you can't!!! When I tried to leave the app would NOT open the gate, so i had to manually enter the code. -I get an email saying that i'm not allowed to be in the facility after 5 and if i do it again I'll be locked out? Excuse me? How absolutely absurd. I hope this place gets shut down
