Mice defecated and urinated over everything I had, after only being there for one month. I even brought my own plastic pallets and whatever did not fit in a plastic container was clean and organized when I originally moved in. As compensation they only provided 1 months free rent - I had my unit from June until January and after knowing about this problem the entire time, not only did I not get my check until December, but they never mentioned how they were going to FIX their mice problem. I also had to personally drive to the office to pick up my reimbursement check, because maybe mailing it would cost too much or something. (?) In the end, I lost hundreds of dollars of personal belongings, kids toys, items of attachment, and I had to personally clean off all the mice droppings off my stuff on MY OWN DIME. I had the best experience with your employee name Chris. When I talked to the customer service department on Friday, I must've misunderstood because I thought they told me that the office closed at six on Saturday. I arrive there at four and Chris was literally locking up the door. I was about to cry because I had a truck full of my belongings that I needed to put into my storage unit that I had set up online. He was so kind and he told me to come in and he allowed me to move my stuff in even though it was after his hours to go home. He is extremely knowledgeable about the storage industry and was absolutely very helpful and again very kind. Because I had made him late, I offered to give him money to buy dinner, and he flat out refused. he said this is his job and it was no problem. I can't say enough wonderful things about Chris. My day had been very stressful and was hilarious. He actually kept me laughing when I felt like crying. I only leave reviews when I have something good to say about someone, because in this world that we live in now, there is always negative things to say about anybody and everybody. I hope this gets to the corporate office because you really need to know you have an employee who did an outstanding job and went way beyond the call of duty. Thank you for your time. This is the first time we have ever used a storage facility. We are moving to a new house and have a few week gap, so we are storing our stuff and staying with family. The lady we dealt with was awesome and extremely helpful. She explained everything in detail and helped me purchase some supplies that I never gave a thought to. She also walked us thru the gate process and said we could call for anything. It was pretty painless. She also recommended a size unit for us. Didn't try to upsell on a larger size. Rented a 2 storage units from this location, and I have to say the service is unacceptable. (read this in entirety if you plan renting from this company.) When renting the units, it was expressed to me that I needed to have renters insurance. I usually have Geico for this, but chose to go with storage mart coverage as I was told it covered Everything. After coming back to my unit it was found that there had been rodents inside that had literally eating thru my mattress, urinated on a lot of the furniture, and left droppings everywhere. (Pictures of all this) Upon finding this I relayed it to the person in charge. She mentioned that the door next my unit had been broken a while, but it recently had been fixed. She supposed this may how they have been getting inside. She ensured that my renters insurance would cover this, and gave me documents to fill out to establish the coverage. The documents had a selection for rodent damage, so obviously I chose this option as the issue happened from rodents. After a month and half of hassle, I finally spoke to the general manager of the store and twas told this wasn't covered by the coverage plan and I would be responsible for the damages. I explained this thousands of dollars in damage. She became very rude and was like yes that is all we can offer. I then tried to take it a step further, and sent a letter to Cris Burman, but that was no good as I never received any reply. I would be Leary of renting from this company, as the units have open tops so I am not sure how animals could be prevented from going from one unit to another once inside. If I could give this 10 stars I would!! This specific location, and this company is just amazing. The people that work here are so friendly and so helpful!! And our unit was absolutely perfect. It was clean when we moved our things in and we had them in there for one year. (We had the climate controlled unit). I kid you not, there was not even dust on our things when we moved everything out a few days ago. They allow 24/7 access, with GREAT security. And even through all of the awful weather we had in the last year/few months there was never any issue after snow storms, rain storms, hail storms. If you are looking for a storage place you can trust in terms of location and people, choose this one. You will not regret it!! It was worth every penny for my husband and I to know our very personal things were safe, and not being damaged!! When/if we ever have to use storage again we are going to come back to this location/company specifically because of how wonderful they were to us. Thank you so much StorageMart!! I have always come in there and it has been clean great customer service especially Jason. Very convenient on a bus route to get there easy for me. I have dealt with many people there and they were helpful in carrying stuff out for me and explaining the contract and business end of things. I never experience so much trouble in a storage place. They lock you out before your payment is due. You have a 5 day grace period before they lock you out. I asked them to take me off off auto pay and management will not do it. I am not happy with this business and the way I'm being treated as a customer. I am going to remove my stuff from this storage and use another storage place. read more

Rhonda the manager there has always taken very good care of me. Their prices are very reasonable for the area. I had some damage to one of my vehicles that was parked the and she made sure to take pictures and get me in touch with the right people. I had a vehicle there that another tenant was interested in purchasing and she connected us so we could make a deal. Great experience as far as I'm concerned. Today we came in expecting to pay a lot for a storage unit. Desiree the assistant manager is the one that took care of us and I couldn't believe how great of a job she did. She showed us the storage units and accommodated to our needs. Hands down she was probably the best at doing her job right. I felt like she wasn't trying to take our money and plus she took really good care of us. DONT RENT HERE!!!! We had 6 desks that got ruined in a storage unit from water that came through the back of the unit. They said they couldn't prove it even though the manager that left while this was all going on said they had an issue with that. The warranty we were sold was different than they explained when I read through it... We argued about how much they would reimburse for months and finally settled at 1500 which is far less than we should receive. I was called to pick up the check and it was 700 and some odd dollars. They are terrible to work with and being managers don't know a thing and will just keep passing you along to someone else or to a part time worker that works one day a week and doesn't respond. Linda Krantz, the regional manager is absolutely no help and neither is Rebecca the part time insurance claims. I am disgusted with this place and will never rent a unit again. They know they had the problem and are not taking care of it and shows what kind of people they are. read more
