When I arrived, I was told the dolly was unavailable despite it being included in my reservation. I understand inventory issues happen, but moving heavy items without equipment you planned and paid for creates a major inconvenience. What made this especially frustrating was how dismissive the response felt. If the reserved equipment was unavailable, the least the staff could have done was help locate another nearby U-Haul location where we could have gotten one instead of simply sending us on our way without a solution. What added to the frustration was the disconnect between the advertised pricing and the actual cost once mileage and other charges were added. The initial compensation offered for the inconvenience was $9, which honestly felt dismissive and inadequate given the situation. After further communication, the General Manager did increase it to $25, and I do appreciate that he remained professional and responsive throughout the process. Overall, I left feeling like customer expectations are set one way online, while the reality at pickup can be very different. We were allowed to choose our own gate code and the process of getting in was explained on our first visit. While it does not have a dump or wash like other places, as another reviewer said, both are just a few hundred yards down the road. All three of the employees we have met and worked with were friendly and professional. Be sure to stop in to the office and say hello when you are coming or going, and check out the well-stocked candy bowl. While I don't have any experience with the prior owners, the current ownership is doing an amazing job.

The building and storage lot were given a facelift, more spaces for RVs and more storage units were added, and electricity was added to many of the RV spaces. While the monthly rental fee did go up as a result of the improvements, this facility is still less expensive than others in the area, and is conveniently located near a dump station that is at the car/RV wash next door. Greg, the manager, is always responsive, and provides excellent customer service, all while being friendly and helpful in the process. We consider ourselves lucky to have found our RV slot at this facility and recommend this place for others looking for the same.
