Mike worked with me and my very stubborn 2 year old 148 pound Cane Corso. Mike's training methodology was equally important as the lessons. Price was affordable and lessons were private and focused just on my dog. Looking forward to additional group training for socialization!

We did group training with Mike and it was honestly great. We came to him with our 3 year old Rottweiler that we rescued and had for about 2 months. Milo had selective hearing when it came to listening around other dogs but after training with Mike, Milo listens SO much better. So many people that saw Milo when we first got him to now have commented on how much of a difference there is with him, his old owner even commented on it. Mike is very straight forward & tells you how it is. I find that very pleasing when he's not only helping you train your dog but essentially he's training you too. I also LOVED that he gives you a packet deciphering each command that you'll be learning. Another thing that actually makes a difference is the collar he offers to you, I really like the collar and did notice a difference when using it! I recommend it to you just as I have recommended it to friends. I also recommend that you actually take time out of each day to go over training just as Mike suggests, you need to be ready to put some work in with your dog.

We started Macie when she was about 4 months old for private lessons in the basic obedience course and it's the BEST investment. As a smaller pup she had a really bad habit of biting people and would be pretty aggressive, but as her training progressed so did her behavior. She's much more calm, sweet, and playful. She's now learning how to do her commands off leash, so this training has been so good for her! I can't recommend this training enough to dog owners

By far the best experience we could have hoped for in training! Mike came to our house and was super patient with both us and our pup! He takes a lot of time to explain everything and it has been a game changer for our dog. His compassion and love for these animals definitely shows through and we are so excited to get to attend Saturday classes to show off our boy! If you're looking for a true dog lover to help train your fur baby you should definitely give him a shot! Thank you Mike!

Our family could NOT be HAPPIER, or more grateful, for all of Mike's help! We got a Shepsky at 6 weeks old & were immediately worried that we were in over our head. Mike came over, before we even started the training, to meet us & our new pup. We instantly knew that we had made the right choice. His stern yet gentle command was evident right away. He took the time to answer all of our questions give us tips & recommendations, even before we signed up for the training. Our rambunctious puppy is now 6 months old & we are confident with the training WE got from Mike, (as he trains YOU not your dog) along with the group lessons, our fur baby will be ready for advanced lessons soon, & we cant wait!

Mike was fantastic. We adopted a 1.5 year old German Shepherd rescue that needed training badly. We put in the work and followed Mike's direction closely and it paid off. Our pup did great and really enjoyed the group training. I would highly recommend Mike for anyone looking for sound guidance on training. Fantastic value and great results if you are willing to put in the work with your pup.

Stella graduated from school today and is on her way to be the best trained fur baby we've ever had! She listens and better yet follows basic commands. Mike is a great trainer and patient. My husband and I now have the tools to get her even further and we are all happier for finding Mike.

We just graduated from the group basic obedience course with Mike, the training was great, we found that the instructions are very helpful, yes my girl right now without any treats she will listen to my orders, isn't that amazing! Mike will teach owners by showing and explaining how to handle the dog. In class we practice and Mike will follow you through the steps. Also he will answer to any questions regarding dogs behavior and explain what to do. Me, my husband and our girl are very happy we chose Southern Nevada Dog Training. We will look in the future to the next course, thank you Mike!

We are so happy with the dog training we just did with Mike! As a first time dog owner, I wasn't sure where to begin with training. We are so happy we found Southern Nevada Dog Training. We started seeing improvements immediately with our 6 month old puppy. Mike was also super accommodating with our schedule and he genuinely cared about Hank's progress. We highly recommend this dog training!

Best decision I've ever made! I've been searching for a dog training service that wouldn't be so pricey and we came across this one so we decided to give it a shot! We have a pitbull (Her name is Tricksy) and we thought it was going to be impossible to train her but Micheal seriously saved us! From the beginning she gave us a hard time but what dog doesn't. Throughout the sessions we've seen a lot of improvements and she's changed so much in a good way! REALLY RECOMMEND GOING TO HIM!! Promise you won't be disappointed!

Charlie Rooney ( Beagle ) Southern Nevada Dog Trained

Southern Nevada Dog Training has been AWSOME. Mike Whitty's knowledge of dog training and love for the animals is second to none. When my wife and I started the training we were a bit apprehensive at first. We have a young beagle, and it was a rough start. When our training sessions progressed, it became clear to us, how to approach each lesson and get results. " Wins " Mike calls them ! Mike likes to say " he trains the owners " how to train their dogs. He's right. We have completed the coarse and will continue to reinforce what we learned . Mike is always on time, respectful, kind to the dogs and very thorough. ( never trains with a heavy hand ) . Mike wastes no time on the training. Starts with an explanation of the lesson and what to expect . My wife and I feel competent , with the foundation he gave us to train our dog safely, securely and compassionately. The walks are better and our company can see the results too. We will continue to train our dog the way we were taught. Thank you Mike

Just finished group session with Mike's training. We met once a week with Mike, and was consistent with his training methods since day 1. We put in the work with our 3 year old Goldendoodle, Chance. Twice a day for 15 minutes, and I can't be more impressed with the outcome. Chance is a lot more engaged, and he sees myself and my wife as the unquestionable Alpha leader now. I definitely want to recommend Mike to anyone looking for dog obedience training.

If you're looking for a knowledgeable and professional dog trainer, Nick brings both expertise and clarity to the process. His approach gave us the confidence to move forward with one of his puppy training packages. The group sessions have been incredibly valuable--providing structure, socialization, and meaningful growth for Koa. We're especially grateful for the one-on-one guidance Nick has given us, helping us confidently reinforce commands and build strong obedience skills at home and on walks. We've seen tremendous improvement, particularly in managing Koa's over-the-top excitement when greeting people and other dogs. Content K9s also offers boarding and training to their clients, so having that option during our recent 2 1/2-week international trip gave us complete peace of mind. Koa was clearly well cared for, and we returned to a happy, well-adjusted pup. Nick and the Content K9s team deliver professional, effective, and thoughtful dog training. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for puppy training, obedience training, or behavioral support.

We had to put one of them down due to injuries and thought I would need to rehome 2 of them but he worked with all of us and made my pack stronger and more bonded than ever. He took the time to come over first and watch and observe them together and then he worked with them individually and in smaller groups. He trained me as well on how to be a stronger mama bear and take my power back. He taught me to "lock up" my couch since the couch was misbehaving when I wasn't home. Haha. Now my furniture is safe, my dogs aren't tempted and they can be unsupervised more often without getting into trouble. His weekly group classes are a lot of fun to bring the dogs to so they can play and train at the same time. They can meet other dogs if they want or we just do our own thing and my crazies love Mr. Nick. He still periodically checks in on us and always responds to my texts when I have a quick question. You can tell he truly loves all the animals he works with and they can feel it too. I'm so glad he was recommended to me by my vet. He was life saver then and he is still one now. Because 5 crazies is a lifelong commitment and the training snd questions never stop.

She is not only a dog nutritional expert but this lady is a straight up wizard that uses her powers to not only help any dog who's owner that visits her shop but she always is giving back to the Las Vegas community by supporting several non profits and shelters. Which makes her a hero in my opinion. Anyone can open up a dog food place and try to make a profit... That is pretty easy to do. But this woman has vetted all the products in her shop carefully while learning everything about each product she is selling and how it can help the dogs live happier and healthier lives. Doesn't sell dog food that hurts dogs no rawhide. Her intentions are pure and her shop is exceptionally different in all the best ways. And then she starts these side projects helping different organizations that love animals as much as she does. Hosting dog cpr classes at her store... Helping other dog shops that are struggling so that dogs across town don't only have the outlet supply place as their only place to shop for their pets food(cause that place doesn't care if your dog is hurt by the big brands they carry and are constantly being recalled for hurting and killing dogs) She is really doing what she is passionate about and it shows in the work she does giving back to our community and the dogs that need help the most. My daughter is due on July 4th 2024 and her father owns a dog shop across town and the owner of house of paws helped his business in the most heart warming beautiful way possible. Even though she didn't have to and wouldn't get anything in return for the favor. That's the rarest and most beautiful kind of person in my opinion. And although it took him much longer to pay her back for the favor than they originally agreed upon she was very understanding and kind about the situation. Not that he deserved her kindness or patience. A million thanks to you Meg! This review is long overdue. No words can express the gratitude I have in my heart for who you are and how you have devoted your life to helping dogs and any human/organization that is on a similar mission. And my wish for you is no different than what I wish for everyone on this planet: I hope life treats you the way you treat animals.. All my love, The pregnant chalk art lady from across the valley P.s Thanks for the cbd oil you gave my pup! It worked just as you said it would!!
